Ranch is amazing, but I will admit that I have odd tastes. Examples being that I like diet soda and hate regular, like light ranch, and sometimes have salads as snacks... But I still eat ice-cream and chocolate every once in a while.

It tastes pretty much exactly like french fries and milkshakes. It's not like ketchup where the ketchup makes the fries taste better, you just taste them both at the same time.
Think flavor addition vs. flavor multiplication.

that being said, if you're a fan of milkshakes and a fan of french fries it should taste pretty good.

There is this hamburger place called El Corral here where I live and it's French fries are delicious, even more so with milkshakes.

I once put marble cheese in vanilla ice cream. It tasted like chocolate.

Also, my favorite thing about Sonic (one of the many food establishments which refuse to extend into my area) is that they'll put their drink syrups in whatever you ask them to. Vanilla Sprite is much better than regular Sprite.

I should try that sometime.

Steak 'n' Shake does that too, though they only have like three syrups (vanilla, cherry, and I think chocolate).

It's got some vitamin that reduces the chance that you'll get it but doesn't prevent it entirely.

I dunno, I like In and Out fries. They're freshly cut, not too much salt, and they are GREAT in milkshakes.
And animal style* just makes that combo even better!

*basically, its a special sauce that's kinda like thousand isle with diced, roasted onions and melted cheese.

Aren't Frosties and Milkshakes essentially the same thing? Only real difference I've noticed is one is more thoroughly stirred than the other. O___o

French fries in Frosties are pretty good. There is a difference between them where I live, as milkshakes seem to be more liquid while frosties seem to be closer to ice.
