In the casino the woman and cat had no other choice but to surrender after their guns became...meat! They gawked as they put their hands and paws in the air. The cat was still in disbelief! Both of their eyes followed the swinging of this Lycaon's slingshot, gulping as they feared of being punted in the head by a rock again. The confused tabby still gawked non-stop.

"Hehe... yer makin' da good move," Colin said lightly, hopping down from the counter. "Now ge' goin'. Out da door. No sudden movin', hands an' paws wher' I kin see 'em." He gave the sling another menacing swing and regarded the two of them with lopsided grin. "If ya try ta bolt ... thwack." He mimed using the sling to chuck another rock. "Ligh's out. Got it?"

"No need to," Victor said. He just performed his most powerful roundhouse kick to the human's jaw, brwaking it and plunging him into unconsciousness. "And THAT was for threatening my sis, lowlife!"
Kaiser set free his boss and the others.
Victor bent over the figure of Levi. "Boy, you actually *dreamwalked*?"
Salina went to hold Rabdy to herself. "Are you okay, my dear? The way you were hit..."
Spencers took the earphone used by number 2."I hope you enjoyed my countermeasures, ruler of the idiots. For your information, what you saw on your monitors is called Fata Morgana, a simulator. It showed you only what you wanted to see, while a virus was infiltrating your systems. Turnabout's fair play, after all." the man grinned

It's a matter of Life and Death! And bring a guard with the medic!" he said loud at the device, before shutting it off.

He took the dog and gently holding it, carefully headed back to Arcadia.

A wolf and a rabbit took care of the unconscious figure, doing their best to deal with the worst of the trauma.

Bartholomew stood at the blcak cat's side, looking proudly at him...only that now Levi was black no more, if you counted a white spot on his brow, a spot in the shape of an eye.

Levi had noticed he felt a bit... different, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. and now Victor had put his finger on it. Levi couldn't Even see the new fur marking, but it still sounded cool. all he could say was "Awesome. Can't wait to tell Mom and Dad," as a smile stretched across his face.

Dimitar nodded "I understood. I'll tell them what you want, but mind that he must to behave. I'll be back shortly."
He went out and pulled out his radiophone once again, tuning it on Smith's frequency "Smith, call the medic back... the dog is dead... locals will take care of him... just send the guard so I can give you the dog's belongings. Dimitar Out."
The Chief archaeologist turned off the radiophone and returned to Hara "It is done, but they have to take his belongings. I'll handle that."

The human named Jake, widened his eyes as he stood face to face with his Father, who had passed away while he was still a teenager. He blinked twice, thrice and rubbed his eyes. ''D...dad??....Dad! I missed you so much!'' Jake exclaimed, running to him with arms flung open a smile across his face...

Lars was a mess. Although the German Shepherd was a well built solid dog with his impressive muscles and abs, Lacerations now ran all over his limp body. He was bruised and broken, and he was losing blood fast. Some of the bones in his body either splintered or cracked. His face was an gruesome and contorted mix of the green black camouflaged paint and his blood. Slowly he felt himself slip into the bowels of Hell, except that, why did he feel like he was being retrieved? In his deadly slumber he made out a human voice, followed by a female animal which he couldn't really identify. He needed to reach out to either one of them for his last request.

"Blurgh..." Lars murmured as he inched his remaining energy to his jaws, his mouth full of blood. He continued remaining in the darkness to speak to whoever was present.

"P..ple..ase.....Kill......Me...If I...am alive....I will be....blurgh...to...tor.t..ured..kill me.....plea...se..." Lars said. A single tear streamed from his right eye as he spoke. He wished someone would plunge a blade into his failing heart to end his suffering.

Randy hugged Salina tightly as soon as the threat was apprehended in..a very strange way. "No...are you okay my love? Nevermind me, I can never live without you...thank God you're safe!" Randy exclaimed, the memory of Salina being held at gunpoint still etched deeply in his memory.

Mae walked into the office after handcuffing the unconscious electrician Victor just knocked out. She walked in with a remorseful look. Everybody was just going to be really dissapointed with her for what she had done. Nothing could be reversed. She would soon have to arrested and sent back to HK, put on trial, charged, and the worse case scenario, executed.

She went up Salina and greeted her. "Hi.." Mae said, bracing herself for impact.

security came in and took the prisoners in their custody, after handcuffing them.
"My boy," Grimm said, honestly admired, "You're the hero of the day! These people owe you big time, and I'm sure Mr. Spencers will be already thinking of a special reward. Bravissimo!"

Lars first let out a painful grunt, then exhaled a weak sigh of relief. Was he under some sort of treatment now? Was someone administering first aid? He had not experienced something so relaxing even if he had been sedated before a surgery. Like Mae, he still had the same tracking chip embedded into his leg muscle and he still felt it digging into the tissue sometimes which caused aches after some 3 months or so.

Although his body cried out for rest, he had to wake up and see what was going on. Slowly, he opened his blurry eyes and a female rabbit came into sight, adorned with the most remarkable ornaments and tribal patterns on her body. He fixated his eyes to hers and tried to speak again. ''You...y'...know...m-my name.'' Lars said, looking a bit confused. ''B....b-ut...Who......*cough*...who are...you?'' he asked.

Mae had her eyes avoiding the Lycaon. How was she going to explain herself? Her story? Her so-called relationship with Randy?

''Salina right?'' Mae began, approaching the Lycaon. ''I can assure you....from the moment I gave you that slap, to the moment I decided to do the right thing....I can assure you it was all from my heart.'' Mae said, shuffling her feet a bit. ''You see....I knew Randy when we were younger. And back then, I had feelings for Randy....and when I learnt that you ran away one day I....'' Mae said, pausing to wipe away tears which began flowing rapidly down her face.

''YOU DID?!'' Randy exclaimed. He had absolutely no idea. All the time, he thought that it was just out of the sake of friendship. Admist all the hints, teases and good times they had together back in Hong Kong, he never knew that she just wanted to be with him. He only regarded her as his very best friend in the world. ''My whole life was a wreck.'' Mae said, cutting Randy off his sentence. ''My owner died and Randy wasn't there to comfort me.....from that moment I wanted to have status, wealth, power. This time it was Salina who kicked the gun out of Mae's paw! The gun rolled a couple of times in the air, before Kaiser grabbed it, then emptying it.
"death is not a punishment," Salina said, looking severely at her 'rival'. "It's liberation. You don't deserve to be set free for all the troubles you caused out of a broken heart... But it's not in my place to judge."
Kaiser stepped over to Mae. "I'd like to think that you hurt me, and yes you did, but..." he sighed, caressing her cheek. "I saw you trying to clutch to something new, to those feelings you were denying. And in the end, you *did* do the right choice. Now, if you really want to face the consequences of your actions, are you ready to be processed here, on this island?"

The moment I met you...I knew I had to be together with...with...you! I know I've hurt you and I'm really sorry....but...may I live with you? Please?'' she said, tugging his collar and giving him an intimate kiss. She hugged him as she sobbed non-stop.

Outside Arcadia, Dimitar had already packed up Lars's gear, spare for his knife, which he kept. He had some ideas for that dog, but he had to wait a bit so that the canine could heal. For now he gave the large pack with the belongings to one of the guards and walked around the Shaman village in search for that strange Lycaon Charlie.
It wasn't hard to find her. She was sort of... unique for her kin and he quickly found her in the village. He walked to her and spoke
"Charlie, I presume?"

The Lycaon girl smiled before waving down to the man. “Hey dude! I saw you before, give me a sec, I’ll come down!” Charlie shouted to the man.

She jumped to the next tree, and grabbed the large branch with her paws. She pulled herself up, and then carefully stood up on the tall branch, before pushing back a strand of lush fur behind her ear. She kicked up the ever growing tree and kicked away from it, before executing a successful backflip and landing on the ground once again, landing in front of the man with one hand and knee.

The Lycaon girl then instinctively reached for her sides. “Oh yeah, no guns…” she said, shaking her head slowly before dusting herself off and saluting the man with a glowing smile.

“Charlie Rose at your service.”

The Lycaon girl then instinctively reached for her sides. “Oh yeah, no guns…” she said, shaking her head slowly before dusting herself off and saluting the man with a glowing smile.

“Charlie Rose at your service.”

"Rose... you're the new Chef's pet, right?" Dimitar asked with a serious expression, crossing his arms on his chest.

"Anyway." he continued "I am Dimitar Johnson, the Chief Archaeologist of the resort and a formal "Father" to Balkan. I was told you have something for me?"

Charlie looked at the buff man with a goofy look. “Oh!” she said before straightening up and kneeling down. The girl pushed back a strand of fur behind her ear, before using her finger to hook into the strong sole of her boot, and peel back a rubber strip, revealing a secret compartment. She shook her foot a few times, before a necklace with two dog-tags fell out and into her paw, along with a compass.

“Sir, is this what you were looking for?” She said, smiling and handing Dimitar the items.

“Mr Johnson, did you plan on leaving this place anytime soon, my feet are killing me, and my dad is probably raging right now.” She said pouting slightly.

Dimitar took the items "I suppose they are." he knelt down, pulling his knife out of his boot and opened the compass with it "Ah, I thought so. Just a shell" he showed the compasses interior to the Lycaon "and there are two notes in it." he took them and glanced at each "Balkan definitely. Only he can write such a broken Bulgarian." he said with a smile. "I'll read them later."

"Sadly We won't be able to go to the resort until tomorrow. Yet I'm sure your Father is more occupied with cleaning after the idiots that attacked the resort." he said as if it was something completely normal "Besides I have some more work here and later I can take you to the wolf village if you want, that is."

Charlie nodded her head at Dimitar’s words. “Alright sir, I would like to go back to the village, if that were okay with you….” The Lycaon girl said, blushing under her fur slightly at the thought of returning to the village and holding Balkan again. It had only been a few hours since she had been there, and already she missed the half wolf.

“I’ll wait for you first sir, if you had anything else you needed to do.”

"I think I’ll tag along with you sir, it gets a little creepy being here for all this time; you kind of start to see the same pattern over and over. But I’m used to it from before, so it’s not a problem for me. But still. I prefer to go with you." Charlie said, smiling and standing by Dimitars side.

Charlie smiled and nodded her head, joining Dimitar on the spongy yet tough log. The Lycaon girl watched with growing curiosity as Dimitar’s thick fingers glided across the fragile parchment.

Charlie watched as Dimitar scanned the first letter. “Oh, I see why he wrote that, it’s too bad the others are not here to have read this.” Charlie said, smiling and watching as Dimitar picked up the next letter and began to read its contents.

Charlie walked along the old dirt track, feeling the sun's heat on her fur.

"So, Dimitar, it's only a little ways farther. But we might have to climb to get there."Charlie said, before breaking out into a run and kicking up a tree. The girl kicked off from the tree, and grabbed onto the nearest branch, before pulling herself up and into the haven of trees above. She laughed before gesturing for the man to follow.
