Yes. It dawned on me just as I was writing and then I backpedaled with the "i c wat ya did thar".

She knows Peanut too well and knew that the pic was still there, after don't know how much when she found it (long ago before the barn). Grape only had to sit casually next to the pillow, reach out and TADA! Instant proof.

The interesting thing here is that this means she left that photo there, knowing about its existence!

Oh, I see.

Well, to be fair, I was actually trying to point out how similar the two pics looked, not necessarily post a picture relevant to the topic in terms of displays of affection.

This may have already been pointed out--I can't bring myself to check back through eight pages of fanfurry hyperventilation over recent developments (love you all

)--but if Tarot is such a powerful psychic and has been so deep in Peanut's mind as to see when he needs her, doesn't it also suggest that she is well aware of the depths of his crush?

And what does that say about her relationship to Peanut? Good or bad things? She did, after all, say she was there "in his hour of need," but as a tide-over? What's her angle?

Either way, I'm incredibly impressed as always with R.G.'s ability to mix cliffhanger suspense, heart-wrenching emotional drama, well-rounded character development, pure surprise elements, and some of the best punchlines out there. And he's just getting better and better. A+.

Well, if Peanut had been left completely alone while Grape started spending time with Max, he probably would have lost his mind... or developed some kind of neurosis, like Joey and Tiger.
