That...is the worst parody I have ever seen. It reminds me of the later Scary Movies, just throwing in random stuff at the end.

honestly i'm pretty sure they threw it in there less as parody an more of just reference for Bronies who happen to watch regularly

I personally feel like those similarities may just be circumstantial archetypes for the denouement of action/sci-fi movies. I could be wrong, but I'd really like to see Word of God on the matter before I say it's a direct reference.

I've watched that full movie maybe only twice or three times a while ago and i immediately recognized the similarities without them being pointed out. If it was that easy to notice, either it was officially intentional or someone's lying.
