Sorrow: SO hard to talk to people sometimes.

I think my Asperger's Syndrome may be part of the problem--I have a lot of difficulty relating to the mindset that seems to me to be based more on emotions than on logic.

It's different for me, but I know what you mean, about difficulties talking to people.

But in some ways I guess it's different with people I don't know so well.... I don't know why it SHOULD be, though....

Maybe with people you know, it's that you're used to one method or more to help them WORKING, and when it doesn't, you get frustrated?

biggest sorrow that just ruined a good portion of my life: My best friend has been going through some seriously sucky issues, involving the loss of her mother, and then having her grandparents and father fight over custody of her. She's been living with her grandparents since she was seven, but last Thursday the court decided that she has to go live with her father.

away from her hometown.

away from her friends and the only life she's ever known.

and now she's being homeschooled.

I haven't cried this much since I was little.

Sorrow: my Mom was out with one of our vehicles and the battery died, so I had to drive my dad over to help her (because he hurt his shoulder yesterday and was all drugged up)
Joy: the battery died while she was near a gas station, so we could get batteries.

the universe helping me out: she was only in that vehicle, the one we're using to take me to college tomorrow, because she was paranoid about the other vehicle exploding because there was an indicator saying we need to change the oil. if my dad hadn't let that happen, the battery would have died while they were taking me to college and we would have been out of luck. ^_^

Joy: I move into my first college Dorm tomorrow (actually today for me at this point). finally. it's really happening this time.
sorrow: this means I'll be away from my internet friends until late tomorrow (again, technically today).
sorrow or joy: my first college class starts at 1PM on Wednesday.

Unpleasantry: Because my school's schedule system is so messed up, a couple of my classes are switching from On-Level to Honors (or vice-versa) halfway through the year. Of course, because everybody else has a problem with their schedule, I won't be able to fix it for a while.

I know exactly how you feel. It's practically impossible to smalltalk and whatnot, especially when people are so compelled by emotions.

Sorrow: Speaking of... I decided that school is going to be too much for a full time job, which means I can't afford anything except a place to stay. Looks like I wont be getting that drum set I wanted.

Sorrow/awkward: Aapparently you can't drive a truck into a city parking tower. I was trying to drive it into the narrow drive path to pay and I kept bumping the booth the guy was in. It was kind of funny, though.
