I think laser vision is one of the most over-hyped super powers. You can only use it if you can see the other person, it can be defeated with a mirror, and no one has yet to explain why your eyes don't melt when you use it.
I've always assumed that "laser vision" was just a figurative term, and that the energy coming out of ones eyes were not literally laser beams.
But here's a thought- wouldn't laser vision worth anything be able to cut through things, like walls and doors and such? So, if you had such a powerful laser,
would it reflect off of a mirror or just cut through it? I'm hardly a scientist, so I don't know.
It always bothered me that cartoons assumed any sort of beam-shaped attack would bounce off a mirror, seems to me that if you had a freeze-ray or some such, and shot it at a mirror, the mirror would just freeze.
