That's quite an accomplishment, Congrats Frooxius! :]

Sorrow: I have been lied to, for a while now. -_- I'm having a hard time trusting anyone, now.
Sorrow: Turns out I don't have a job.
Joy: Got my hair thinned out, so it's not so messy. I guess this will make job interviews less awkward.

Trust me, we've all been lied to, me in particular, I have been lied to for a good most of my life, I have no way of trusting my parents any more and I don't know what to do, they just make me so mad now.

Sorrow: I realized that there is way too much sorrow here, but isn't that what most of the world is built on? Struggles, at least I know that some day, all the hard work we have all had to go through will pay off, for some it already has such as Frooxius or all the others here in this forum that graduated, congratulations to all of you, I can't wait for my time, I just want to get out of this prison also known as school.

Joy: It might be dark today but those clouds won't be able to block out the warmth of the sun, we will all make it somehow, we will all find happiness in life but we can't just sit around and wait for that to happen, we have to work hard and succeed if we are to ever somehow

not necessarily in any major way. I haven't but I live by Dr. Greg House's philosophy. everybody lies. I am prepared to forgive any minor lies that may come my way. am I too trusting? no. If I am the victim of any major lies, I won't so easily trust the liar.

Joy: I have not experienced any major turmoil in my life that has filled my life with sorrow. yes, My dad nearly died of encephalitis a few years ago, but the operative word is nearly. he fully recovered from a disease that kills most of its victims.

Sorrow: I see the sorrow in this forum and it makes me feel like a person with more luck than anyone deserves.

This was a bit different. I know where you're coming from, though. I'm dropping that discussion, don't want to talk about why.

Sorry for the constant sorrow, I'm actually trying to be optimistic as possible here. :/

Conflicted joy: My laugh sounds like Day[9]'s laugh. And it kind of scares me. (Day[9] is an Starcraft 2 caster that laughs a lot, and very loudly. It's amusing)

Sorrow: Bunch of family drama centered around me.

Joy: It's not nearly as bad as some of the things I was fearing it might be.

Sorrow: My blood pressure has been periodically dropping way low the past few days. Temporarily going blind and collapsing because you got up too fast is not fun.

Joy: After starting to consistently exercise again, I have discovered that I apparently have ab muscles buried somewhere under my strategic fat reserves.

Sorrow: The GIMP Team seem to hate their developers almost as much as they hate Windows. So my plans for programming GIMP plugins are now scrapped.

Joy: I think I might just be on the verge of figuring out how to edit bitmaps as pure binary files so I won't need to mess around with any graphics programs to do what I need.

Sorrow: I seeded a Pandora station with the song "To Be Where There's Life" by Oasis and one of the first songs to turn up was by Korn. What the [HECK], Pandora?

Well, there is a lot of sorrow on this thread, but I do think the joys balance them out.
I mean, Frooxius just had a major accomplishment in life (Congrats and hello, by the way!), as did valerio.
I think it's just cool to think about what the other people on the forums are doing!

Well, can you still communicate online and keep in touch that way? If nothing else, you should meet some cool people in Switzerland, and you get to travel! Chances are your friends will still be there when you get back if you know how to reach them.

Head gasket. It was an old car that I bought after my first car decided to hydroplane and ram itself into a bridge. This has been a pretty fun month so far for my wallet...

It would cost about $1000-$2000 to fix, which is more than I paid for the car. So, I'm just gonna trash it.
If I can though there is an older man interested in it for parts, so depending on what he is willing to give me for it I may just sell it to him.
I'll probably take a hit financially doing it that way, but at least someone gets some use out of it instead of it just being completely demolished.

In any case...
Joy: I just traded in a box of coins I had sitting around forever. I got $34 and a haircut.

I have replaced a Head Gasket By my self before. the part is very enexpensive. though I can see someone charging you that much for labor. even though it is far overpriced.

The issue with the gasket is that I continued driving on it without realizing the gasket was damaged, so it overheated and damaged the engine.
I don't know what else is wrong with it, but aside from the gasket itself, there were other issues that would have caused the full repair to be about $1500.

Also, I don't know the first thing about cars, so it's not really something I can fix myself. Even if it was just the gasket.

If it overheated then it might have locked up or scorched the pistons. both of those are very hard to fix... I can see the charge being more realistic now if the engin won't turn over at all.

Joy. I might have found a replacement refirgerator in the basement.

Sorrow: I wish I was healed completely... being hindered in a way that doesn't allow you to travel or do any kind of strenuous activity is really annoying... and boring...
