We seem to have got it. Brother bought it, but I feel indifferent. I thought the first game was fine, sure. But not the holy thing everyone tends to make it out to be. I'll just find out when my brother gets back.

Tried playing Amnesia again. I walked away with an even worse opinion than I had before. Perhaps I'm still not playing long enough, but it seems I can't walk two steps without some stupid wobbly affect scene. It's extremely annoying, and the game likes to start lagging whenever one of these crap things happen.

And still not scary in the least.

I think you're a liar. Amnesia is a horror game, it's supposed to be scary, and everybody in the world raves about how scary it is. Except me. Because it's not. Not for lack of trying, but just for not being a very good game.

Amnesia is like a poo-your-pants because you're too afraid to look behind you scary. Just watching part of a walkthrough scared the -censored- out of me.

Without having played the original and with no plans to buy the sequel anytime soon, I looked it up on TvTropes and spoiled myself. (If you're planning on actually playing the game... don't do that, apparently people on TvTropes rush to fill in news about the ending of a game within a day of its release and may occasionally forget their spoiler marks) And yet even without playing it I'm entertained, I guess you could say that goes to show it was written well.

Enjoy it, House. Portal is awesome. I assume the others are as well, but I haven't finished Half-life 2 and haven't played TF2. I will eventually.

I'm going to buy it tomorrow (hope they still have some copies at one of the three Gamestops or the Best Buy in my area) and attempt to get it played by the end of the week. otherwise, I won't finish it until after school ends, and I can't wait that long to finish a game that got a 5/5 on Attack of the Show.

I have a PS3 its just fine the only reason I don't have many games for it is because I got it after about a year of having the xbox. I have more PS2 games than anything. As far as I'm concerned the only thing that makes Xbox better than PS3 is party chat. Other than that there isn't actually anything special about it all.

I prefer the PSN store. It uses actuall money instead of an anoying point system. Theres a couple reasons this is better.
1. Each game can have its proper price making some games cheaper than Xbox counterparts.
2. When you buy online you spend exactly what you need and note end up with xtra points you don't need.
3. Its just simpler.

I have no idea why any company uses points instead of just plain cash. We have currency for a reason.

Game wise the Xbox is much more directed to the american gamer. By american gamer I mean average dude who plays games. From personal experience with "normal" people at school all they play is racing, shooting, sorts, and music games like rockband. These are exactly what the Xbox seems to specialize in.

The Wii as advertised specialises in family games , party games, and paltformers. It has a lot of vareity and some of the awsomest games. However that is brought down by 3rd party companies who are bad enough they should be called 4th party. They go on the console and make games so horrible it brings down the name of the entire system. That and the "average american gamer" veiws most of the games to be fore kids and not brutal enough.

The the PS3 from what I've scene specialises in more asian games. Obviously this is because the Japanese support ps3 a thousand times more than Xbox. While the PS3 shares a whole bunch of the same games with Xbox there's a noticeable difference in what kind of games are exclusive. Xbox has stuff like halo and gears. PS3 has stuff like Demon souls, and other RPGS whose names escape me. The "average american gamer" does not seem to like RPGs or anything that seems to foreign.

I'd prefer you not to blurt out exceptions like the wii's conduit. I know there are expositions, but every time I make a point people have the need to say whatever exceptions they can come up with.

I got Portal 2 the day it came out and it is Amazing!!

What are y'alls thoughts about it?
