Chapter 5 Part 21

Streak smiled and walked through the city. He had no idea where he was going, but he knew that they'd end up somewhere. After about an hour of searching they had finally found a place to eat. Streak stood in front of the building. It looked like a fancy "Red Robin". He smiled and turned around to his friends, who have been waiting this whole time.
"Well, what do you think?"
Grape looked and the building, sitting on a nearby bench. "Well, I was hungry for lunch when we started looking. But now I could go for diner."
Streak rolled his eyes, and grabbed her hand, pulling her up.
"Looks good." Peanut said as he followed Streak through the revolving doors.
"It maybe probably is." Streak said a little unsure.
All three of them walked in. The soft dark red carpet felt good on there feet. It felt more like plush then carpet, though. Inside was...well...just as big as it looked on the outside. Why would it be larger? Tables were scattered across the carpet except for the counter, split the building in half. Streak assumed that behind the counter is where the kitchen was. A pretty young waitress, holding a menu at her waist was smiling in front of them. She was about there hight and her skin was a light pink. He purple hair flowed down across her black waitress suit, and to her elbows.
"Hi there!" She said happily. "My name is Lynda and I'll be your waitress tonight!"
Streak smiled and nodded. "Table for three, please."
"Rrrrright this way!" She happily said as she guided them to a restaurant booth next to a large glass window. You could see almost all of that side of the building through it. She smiled and gestured to the seats on the booth.
"Here you all are!"
"Thanks." Streak said sitting down.
Grape smiled and sat down across from Streak and Peanut said next to her. Lynda set her menu on the table, in front of Streak.
"Now, just call me over and I can take your orders and-" She leaned down next to Peanut. "Maybe your phone numbers..."
Peanut blushed lightly as she grinned.
"Anyway, I'll leave you to it." She said walking to the counter, near he front.
Peanut's blush slowly faded and Streak snickered to himself.
Streak picked the menu up and opened it.
"What are you guys in the mood for? Maybe a bottle of red?"
Grape glared at Streak. "Um, No."
"It was a joke." Streak said with a chuckled. "Why don't I just choose something?"
"That sounds good." Peanut said rolling his fingers on the table.
Grape nodded in agreement.
"Okay..." Streak started reading the many names off the menu.
"Tue-Shee-No-Kablo? I think that's some sort of fish...
Gam-nor-i-ma?
Ing-nori-phils?"
Streak got a look of disgust on his face. "We probably shouldn't have that..."
Peanut's ears perked up. "Have wh-"
"Nothing." Streak closed the menu. "So!"
"So, what?" Grape asked yawning.
"Soooo, what do you think of this place?"
Peanut shrugged. "I don't know...It's hard to get attached to a place that you know will be destroyed in four days."
"Um, it's three days, and you make a very good point."
Grape rubbed her forehead. "What do you think destroyed both of these planets?"
Streak sighed. "I don't know...But you three must know that even if we find the cause all we can do is leave and stop it if it or he tries to do it again. We can't get in the way...Right?"
Peanut and Grape looked at each other.
Peanut sighed. "Right..."

Chapter 5 Part 22

Lynda set three plates on the table, each one in front of Streak, Peanut, and Grape. She was, of course, smiling. Each plate had some sort of green fish on it. The fish was chopped into tine pieces, which both Peanut and Grape found strange. Peanut picked up a fork and took a small bite of the "fish". He smacked his lips, trying to get used to the taste.
"Well? What do you think?" Streak asked grinning.
"It's..." Peanut swallowed it. "Different."
Streak laughed.
"Hey, I could take anyone in this building and take them to earth, I bet they'd all say the same thing."
Grape shrugged after taking a few bites.
"I don't know..." She said licking her lips. "It's not that bad."
"That's the spirit!" Streak said chuckling.
Grape smiled and nodded.
"So," Peanut started. "Any ideas on the err...'case'?"
Streak yawned and shook his head.
"Not yet. I am leaning toward blaming the mine machinery..."
"Oh?" Grape asked tilting her head slightly. "How so?"
"Well...It's a big pole sticking into the ground. It's got to be something to look into."
Peanut nodded. "Yeah, but do you think that this planet is involved?"
"Maybe...Right now I'm kinda wishing we stayed while the 'accident' was happening." Streak said with a sigh.
"Oh, yeah. Near death experiences. Fun, right?"
Peanut chuckled listening to Grape.
"Oh, yeah. To bad we missed the party." Streak stood up and out the booth.
"Woah, Woah, Where are you going?" Peanut asked setting his fork down.
"Where do you think?" Streak said smiling.
Grape and Peanut looked at each other.
"I uh, really have no idea."
Streak chuckled.
"I'm going to go poke around. Stay here."
"And do what?" Grape asked with a sigh.
"Not move." Streak said as he tossed a packet on the table.
Peanut picked up the pack and looked at it. Many small silver coins were in the packet.
"Wait, what's this?"
"Currency. See you later!" Streak walked out the doors.
"Wa-Wait, Streak!" Grape said standing up, trying to stop him, but he was already gone.
At that moment Lynda walked up.
"Um, Err...Is everything okay?" She asked with a hand on her hip.
Grape sat back down with a sigh. "Yeah, we're fine."
Lynda was chewing gun. "Did your boyfriend dump you?"
"What?!" Grape said, with her face turning red.
Peanut wasn't sure whether her face was red with blush or red with anger.
"No! Don't even think about thinking about that!" Grape said with the purple returning to her face.
Lynda jumped back with her hands in a defensive position.
"Okay! Okay!" Lynda said starting to walk away. "If you need anything just ask..."
Peanut looked at Grape and her ears twitched.
"I think I ticked off your girlfriend."
"She's not my-!"
Grape chuckled. "I'm joking."

Chapter 5 Part 23

Streak was walking down the sidewalk. He passed many buildings that he took no notice of. He had to get back to this "silver tower". Well, he had to admit. He was slightly lost. Streak sighed and looked around.
"Great." He thought to himself.
How could he lose a giant tower? He was able to, apparently. After many hours of searching he finally had re-found it! It looked exactly the same as it did before. He entered through the doors and walked to the front desk. There was no line and no receptionist at the desk but, there was a little paper sign that read: "At lunch. Be back in a few-". Streak sighed.
"Seriously?!" He mumbled to himself.
He sighed again and slowly walked behind the desk. He started to whistle faintly. The receptionist's laptop was still open and running. Streak smirked and sat on the spinning chair at the desk. He started typing on the keyboard quickly. He opened all the files he could find.
"Come on...." Streak mumbled. "I need the list of clients and supporters..."
He found the list he was looking for, but nothing cought his attention. He glanced at the desk and saw a small key laying next to the desk.

The first button was labeled "B-1" and the last one was "Door Open". The "B-1" had a key hole under it.

Streak smiled and picked up the key. It had a "B-1" printed into the metal. Streak stood up with the key, out of the chair, and ran to the elevator. He pushed the down arrow and waited. The doors opened up wide and Streak stepped into elevator. He stuck the key into the keyhole of the "B-1" button. Streak looked around, then turned the key. After the key was turned he pushed the button.
The elevator made a loud "Ding!" and he watched the doors slide closed. He waited in the elevator, listening to the soft music. It started to slowly drop. Streak could feel it in his feet. After minutes passed the doors opened again and Streak stepped out. The elevator's doors lead into a small metal room. There was a metal door on the wall facing the elevator. A small paper sign was stuck on the door. It said "Employees Only.". Streak smiled and walked to the door.
"Oh, yeah, right." He said as he pulled the sign off. He tossed it behind his back.
He slowly opened the door and peeked through the door. A larger metal room was through the door. This had a very big tank in it. It looked like a giant fuel tank. And, that it said "FUEL" on one side of the tank. It was connected to a large black metal box. A loud "whirring" sound was coming from the box. There were many workers with blue unzipped jackets were walking around, and messing with the tanks and the "black box". One of the workers started to walk toward the door. Streak jumped and quickly closed the door. He hid next to the door. It was the only place he could think of to hide at. The door opened and nearly smacked Streak's face. The worker walked through the door and walked toward the elevator. He pushed and button and the doors closed. Streak sighed and shut the metal door. He could remember some of what the worker look liked. Well...Time to use his shape shifting abilities to use.

Chapter 5 Part 24

"You! To the control room! It's almost time!" One of the workers, probably the boss, as he pointed at another random worker.
"But, sir! It's three days early!" The worker replied.
"We need to get it running now or it will never work." The boss commanded.
"Yes, sir." He simple said running towards the elevator.
One of the workers entered through the doorway. He didn't look like the others though. He was about five feet six inches tall. Unlike the others he was wearing a yellow construction hat. It was tilted to cover his eyes.
"You!" The boss said pointing at the man who just entered. "Work the fuel."
The worker tilted his hardhat grinning. He had fairly thick black curly hair about two and a half inches long. A small portion of his bangs were died red.
"Yes, boss?" He asked.

--Restaurant-1:13--
Peanut had started rolling his fingers across the table again. Both him and Grape had been sitting for thirty minutes.
"Okay, that's it." Grape said standing up.
She grabbed the money that was on the table and gestured at Peanut to stand up.
"Huh-Wha-?" Peanut said standing up with her.
"Come on," She started. "We're leaving. I'm not going to wait for Streak."
Peanut raised an eyebrow and took a few steps away for Grape, giving her room to get out of the booth.
She stepped out and gestured for Lynda to come over. Lynda smiled brightly and walked over to them.
"Leaving to soon?" She asked with her hands on her hips.
"Yeah..." Grape said handing to pack of coins to her.
"Oh? What's this?? A -very- nice tip." She said grinning as she raised an eyebrow.
"Huh? Is that too much?" Grape asked glancing down at the coins.
"Wwwaaayyy, too much, hun'."
"Oh, well, how much do we owe you?"
"Nothin'. Your little black friend payed for it all."
"What? Streak?! Huh. I wonder if he-" Grape started, but was interrupted by Lynda.
"He also left you this..."
Lynda handed Grape a silver key. It had a small sticker stuck to it. The sticker had the number "three forty seven" written on it.
"He said it was for la' grand "Po-prain" hotel. It's right over there." Lynda started as she pointed out the window, at a large building.
"Goody. Another hotel." Peanut said rolling his eyes.
"Oh, it's a very nice on-" Lynda started.
"Well, thanks. We'll be leaving now." Grape said as she walked toward the door.
Peanut looked at Lynda one last time then followed Grape. "He-Hey, wait up."

-Strange Metal Room-
Streak, in his human form, was leaning against the fuel tank.
"Well, that one guy said that it would be ready in three days. Coincidence? I think not." Streak thought to himself.
"Hey! You, guy!" The boss was yelling at Streak.
"Um, yes sir?" Streak asked walking to the boss who had his arms crossed.
"Here. Use this key to start up the computer upstairs. The receptionist should know who you are."
"She...Will?"
"Yeah, she's in on it, too." The boss said grumbling.
"Yes...What is 'it' exactly?" Streak asked tilting his head.
"It?" The boss laughed hard. "It! You know...The theft?"
"Oooohh...Yeah, right. The theft." Streak replied nodding his head.
"Yeah, just get to work. Remember...This was John Helginson's idea."
"Right, yes, John hel-gon- whatever. What...might we be stealing? I'm new here."
"You know.." The boss mumbled into Streak's ear. "...The core theft..."
"Right." Streak smiled and clapped his hands together. "The core theft. I knew that. Sorry! Arg, I'm so dumb." Streak said smiling. "I'll go...Do that thing."
Streak nodded and walked out the doorway.

IT'S A LAZY UPDATE! OH NOES.

Chapter 5 Part 25

It had been two days as Streak snooped around the area. He had gone back to the hotel and told Peanut and Grape of his plan. His plan was to simply stay in this metal room, until the day that they turned it on. Then, he'd figured he'd just leave. Grape didn't like it and Peanut had to admit that he didn't like it much, either. But, Streak had said it was all they could do. So, here he was. Standing around in the metal room waiting. Today happened to be what "boss" called "Pay Day." Streak didn't like the sound of that so it was time to take some chances.
"Yo! Boss!" Streak yelled as he watched their boss walk into the room.
"What?! We gotta' dead line, you know!"
"Um, right. Dead line, n' stuff. But, what are we stealing, exactly?" Streak asked walking alongside his new boss.
"Feh! Mindless fool."
"Er, right right. I am soooo mindless. I happened to have a uh, memory problem..."
"Memory problem?! Where'd we get you!? Off the streets?!?!"
"Yeah, I like to hang there."
"Shut up!" The boss turned around to face Streak. "This theft will make us rich!!" He lowered his voice. "We're stealing elements in the core from the little mining project on our sister planet. You know. The planet over there."
The boss gestured at one of the walls.
"Oooh. That's a looot of money." Streak said nodding. "I bet it it'll make it easy to pull it out when they're all ready trying to mine it out."
"Yes, now kid. Get ready. We're starting now!"
"Wait," Streak said taking a step toward the door. "now?!?!"
"Yeah, now!" The boss walked away from Streak.
"Oh...No." Streak suddenly ran toward the elevator, pushing a man away. He pressed the elevator's first floor button and the door closed. Streak sighed and changed his form from human, to cat. He faded into a black mist, then appeared again as a cat. After a few minutes the elevator's doors opened. Streak ran out the elevator's door and out the buildings door.
He ran down the street and the planet started to shake.
"Crud." He thought as he ran toward the hotel.
-Hotel Room-
Grape was laying on her bed in the small hotel. She sighed before talking.
"This...is so much fun." She said looking at Peanut who was sitting at the end of her bed. Peanut looked at her.
"No it's not."
Suddenly Streak burst through the doors. "Guys, we got to go."
"What is it with you breaking in and-"
"Come on! It's not as big of a rush, this time though...It should take awhile for this planet to get close to tha-"
The planet shook again and Streak nearly feel over.
"...Nevermind."

Chapter 5 Part 26

"Come on, what are you guys waiting for?" Streak asked as he started to leave the room.
"Oka-"
"Okay." Peanut and Grape almost said it at the same time.
They all ran outside. Buildings had already started to crumble. Large parts of the hotel they were in fell and almost crushed them. Streak jumped back, pushing Peanut and Grape back with him.
"Holy Teleporters, that was close!" Streak yelled as he caught his breath.
Grape looked around the city. Things were falling apart and people were running and screaming.
"Streak..." She said looking at the wounded and hurt people.
"We can't do anything, Grape."
Peanut looked slightly shocked. "Streak!!! These people are hurt!!!"
"We're in the past! We can't do anything, Peanut! The only thing we can do is save ourselves. We can still die!"
"Can't we save these people?!" Grape was almost begging.
Streak sighed and started to run toward the nearest building. "Come! On!"
Peanut and Grape ran after him. Grape continued to try and get him to save everyone.
"Please Streak!" Grape whined. "Think! Is there anyway you can stop it!?"
Streak stopped and looked at her. "I do know how to stop it. But, we can't. I'm sorry."
"You can't?!" Peanut asked.
"No, I can't! We're in the past! What if a great man was inspired by this collision?!" Streak argued.
"So what?! He'll have to find a new inspiration!" Grape was yelling trying to speak over the screaming crowds.
"Yeah!" Peanut said agreeing. "How would you do it, anyway? Is it that hard?"
"All I'd have to do is empty the oil tank." Streak said with a sigh.
"Then do it!" Grape protested. "How many of these people have families?!?!"
Streak sat and stared at her.
"It's only three days in the past." Streak said as he started to run toward the silver building.
Grape and Peanut smiled as they watched him run.
"Hey!" Streak yelled, running backwards. "Get to the ship! See you then!" Streak was grinning.
"Wait!" Peanut said running toward him. "How are we going to get back home?"
Streak ran back to him, knowing that they're in a rush. He handed Peanut his wristband.
"Here," He said as he tapped a few buttons on it. A blue button appeared on the screen.
"When you and Grape are both touching this, push this button and you'll return to the ship."
Peanut nodded and took a few steps back. "Stay safe!"
Streak nodded and ran into the distance. Peanut ran back to Grape and explained what Streak told him.
"Okay. And...He's going to stop all this, right?" Grape asked placing a hand on the wristband.
Peanut smiled, nodded, then pushed the button. The both quickly disappeared into a could of mist, that soon evaporated.

New layout! Yay, or nah?

Chapter 5 Part 27

The silver building. It seemed to be tipping, but it wasn't. Streak entered the inside of it. People were inside screaming and ducking under doorways and desks. Streak wasn't noticed by anyone as he entered one of the elevators. He made sure that he used the same elevator each time he went down.

Streak pushed the basement floor button (B-1) and waited for the elevator to get to the end. It, finally, stopped and the doors slide open. He ran out and into the room where the oil tank is. As he expected, the room was empty. Everyone must be evacuating.

He ran over the oil tank and stopped, standing next to it. He tried to push it over, but it was bolted into the ground. It would take forever to even try and empty it by hand. He stood there, knowing there wasn't much time, trying to think of a way to stop it.

What if he burned it? He might be able to escape from the giant fire ball if he was fast enough! He smiled and reached for his wristband. He felt his bare arm.

"...Crap!" He yelled as the planet started to shake very fast.

He nearly fell over as it shook. He had to think of something else. Many pipes were scattered across the room. Streak figure that they were for transferring the oil from here to another place. One, a small one, was welded into the oil tank. Streak smiled and grabbed the pole. He sighed, getting ready, then pulled very hard. He snapped the pole out of the tank and oil spilled out and across the floor.

Streak fell back from pulling with the pole in his hand. He smiled as he watched the oil spill. But the shaking continued! Streak sighed as he rubbed his forehead. His life and his friend's lives depended on this. He looked at the oil tank then at the big metal box.

This was the generator? If it stopped working...Maybe it'd stop the accident! Streak smiled to himself and looked at the pipe.

"If you want smashing results you have to hit hard." He mumbled, clutching the pipe tightly.

--Streak's Ship-Five Minutes Later--
The ship was a mess. Everything that wasn't connected to the walls had fallen and smashed against the floor. Dust particles started to lift off the ground. Each particle slowly moved into the center of the ship.

They all changed color and formed what looked like to animals in it. It was Peanut and Grape. Finally, each particle finished forming the two pets and the both let out a large breath of air.

"Phew..." Peanut started as he rubbed his head. "That's a first."

Grape nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it'll take awhile for Bino to believe you."

"Yeah, I might as well not tell him." Peanut smiled letting out a faint chuckle.

Grape also chuckled quietly before speaking. "Yo-" Before she could finish there was another rumbling. More things fell and shook. Grape nearly fell over but Peanut grabbed her hand. He helped her up.

"Careful." He said smiling. Grape smiled back, blushing lightly.

-Back To Streak...-
Streak stood back to look at his masterpiece. He had smashed everything in the room. Oil was spilled across the floor. Streak was still holding the pipe that he used to bash the machinery in.

He sighed smiling. At last! The collision stopped! Everyone was safe. He sighed again and dropped the pipe that was covered in oil scratches. He walked to the elevator and pressed the button to go to the first floor.

Streak was glad that Peanut and Grape were there to make him save the planets. In the end, he felt a lot better about himself. And the whole time paradox? It couldn't have done too much harm, so he thought.

The elevator stopped and the doors opened. He stepped out. Everyone had stopped screaming, and were now just looking around confused. He walked out of the building and breathed in a large breath of air. He looked around, trying to see if there was a visible way to get out of the dome.

Streak spotted a fire escape on a nearby building. He smiled and and ran to it. It was about five feet above him. He sighed. He jumped, reaching up toward the first rung on the ladder.

He tightly grasped it, hanging from the ladder. He moaned quietly trying hard to stay up. He slowly pulled himself up the ladder. He had pulled himself up, so he climbed up the fire escape to the first floor. He walked up the metal rusty steps heading toward the roof.

Once he got to the roof he brushed himself off. Now...All he has to do is find a building close to the edges of the dome.

Chapter 5 Part 28

Streak stood on top of the building smiling. He walked backwards, to the edge. He let out a breath of air and looked straight ahead of him. Across from him was another building right next to the blue dome's edge. He planned on jumping across the building. Yes, It seemed impossible, but he thought he could do it.

There was about eight feet away from the two buildings, but Streak still thought he could do it. Now, the building wasn't touching the dome. It was just close. Streak wasn't sure how he was going to get across, but he didn't want to think of it much, either.

He let out another large breath of air, then started running across the building. He was getting close to the edge. Five feet. Four feet. Two feet. One feet- Jump!

He sprang off the building a into the air. He was air born for about three seconds. After the said seconds, he landed on the building he was aiming for! Streak sighed smiling and he wiped his forehead. But he wasn't done yet. He still had one more jump to make. He grinned and started running again.

As soon as he was at the buildings edge he jumped. There was no visible door in the dome at the time, though. Streak figured that if he touched it it would open. So, as he was in air he reached his hand out to touch the wall of the dome. He touched it, and the dome started to open just as he thought, as well! But it was too slow. After Streak touched it, he smacked into the wall as it was opening! He started to slide down the wall, scratching the walls trying to stay up. The door finished opening and he grabbed the edge.

He was dangling once again. Except, this time it was life or death. He used all his force to slowly pull himself up and over, into the doorway. He caught his breath as he laid in the dark green grass. He felt a cool breeze and smiled.

After standing there for minutes he stood up, looked around, and spotted his ship. He smiled bigger and started to walk to it. Once he got there he knocked on one side of it. The door slowly slid open and Streak stepped into it.

"I'm back from saving a few planets." He said with a smirk.

Peanut walked up to him. "Hey, Welcome back! Thanks for doing that for us!" Grape was behind him.

"It was nothing." Streak said as the door closed behind him. Grape sighed, smiling. "It was not nothing. You saved billions." She said.

Streak nodded and shrugged. "Many people could have been effected, but, since it's part of the past now only few timetravelers know."

Peanut tilted his head slightly. "Why only time travelers?"

"Well, after traveling in time on a normal basis time seems to attach to your mind. You'll start noticing if something gets messed up or out of place when time changes."

"Sounds awful!" Grape said.

Streak shrugged again. "It doesn't matter to me. Anyway, lets get out of this death trap. Who knows what will happen next."

Peanut and Grape nodded in agreement and they both watched him start to handle the ship's controls. "Oh," Streak started. "Peanut..." Streak held out his hand to Peanut. "I'll take my wristband back, now."

Chapter 6 (Hiding in a Vacation!) Part 1

--Tiran (Planet)-Current Year-9:34 PM--
Streak and his two furry friends walked down the concrete road. Miami styled buildings surrounded them as they all walked along the sidewalk. They were all chatting away with themselves. They passed floating cars, dark alleys, and shady people.

"Ah, yes. One of the many 'LA' rip offs." Streak said with a smirk.

Grape looked at Peanut then at Streak. "Why are there rip offs of it?" Streak looked at her smiling. "Well," He started. "Most planets and civilizations have laws about going to earth, because humans tend to freak out when ever they see an alien race. So, what some races will do, is take pictures of big cities on earth, then model their cities off of them!"

Peanut scratched his chin. "Interesting." He simply said. Streak nodded and smiled.

"Unfortunately, the crime rate is the same." Streak said shaking his head. "Crime rate? What type of crime?" Peanut asked tilting his head.

"Well, Mobs, gangsters, and just plain thieves seem to hang around here." Streak explained. Grape nodded before talking. "What type of mobs hang around here?"

Streak sighed, unsure if she really wanted to know about all this. "Dangerous ones. Most of the ones around here hide in the shadows. If they want you dead, then the best you can do is hide. They are so dedicated they'll travel across the universe to get revenge."

Peanut rolled his eyes. "Lovely..." Streak nodded, agreeing to his sarcastic remark.

"But, enough about dead people. Where at the store I was telling you about." Streak gestured to a shop that was built into one of the buildings. Grape smiled and clasped her hands together.

"Yay! Can we go in?" She asked excitedly. Streak nodded, smiling as he opened the door. Grape walked in and Streak looked at Peanut.

"Hey, pup, you coming?"

"Nah," Peanut said. "Yarn stores make me feel sick."

Streak looked confused. "It's not a yar-" Peanut interrupted him. "It was a joke."

"I knew that." Streak said with a smile. "You sure you don't want to come in?" Peanut nodded smiling. "I'm fine."

Streak shrugged and stepped inside the store, with the door closing behind him. Peanut sighed, still smiling as he took a few steps away from the building. A nice cool breeze brushed past him and he smiled, closing his eyes letting it fly through his fur.

It was very peaceful and quiet at the moment. Many times Peanut preferred loud and noisy events taking place, but he was in the mood for silence. He walked a few feet away from the store. Alien planets. He still had a hard time believing it. But here they were! Right in front of his eyes! He looked around, admiring the new planet.

As he looked around he had glanced down a hallway. He froze, staring down it. It was one of the mobsters, just as Streak said. He was wearing a pitch black zipped up jacket, with lose black pants. Peanut's heart started to beat rapidly.

It was as if Streak had jinxed him! There was a dark body on the floor and the mobster was holding a knife. Peanut couldn't believe it. The mobster had, obviously, just kill the man. Peanut could only stand and stare. He felt his hands start to shake, but luckily police sirens started.

The mobster looked around. He looked as if he had to run. But Peanut had seen too much! The mobster yelled into the alley, at Peanut.

"You're next!" Was the mobster words, before he ran off, disappearing into the darkness.

Peanut nearly fainted.

Chapter 6 Part 2

--Earth-Current Year-10:30 AM--
Midnight was happily curled up on the couch, with her tail swaying. She had been sleeping for nearly two hours straight, and she showed no sign of stopping. Her head was rested on a soft square purple pillow, that pressed against her ears.

Suddenly, she her a faint thump from the garage. Kristian, her dad, never used the garage! So it must have been Streak. He had been known to park in concealed areas, such as the garage. Her heart started beating and she jumped up, wide eyed.

She got in a good position to pounce Streak, as he came in through the door. She waited silently, ready to catch her pray. She grinned slightly as she watched the doorknob start to turn.

The door opened, and she quickly tackled the first person to walk through the door. She laughed as they both fell to the ground. She closed her eyes smiling and laid on him.

"U-Uh, Midnight?" The voice she was laying on said. It was a man's voice, but not Streak's.

She instantly looked up at the voice, with her ears slightly back. She was laying on Peanut, who was blushing brightly.

"Idiot!" She yelled pushing him away and standing up at the same time.

Peanut looked confused. "Um, I'm sorry?" Streak entered the room with a cardboard box in his hands. "Hiya, Midnight." He said to her, smiling happily.

She smiled back and patiently waited for him to set the box down on the floor next to the couch. After he had finished setting it down, though, she gave him a big hug.

"I missed you, Streak." She said nuzzling his chest. Streak blushed lightly but hugged back.

"Well, isn't that sweet." Grape said walking out of the garage and next to Peanut, who was still recovering from Midnight's pounce. "What happen to you?"

"A black cat crossed my path." Peanut joked brushing himself off after standing.

Grape saw Midnight jokingly stick her tongue out at Peanut. "So, why are you guys here, Streak?" She asked tilting her head slightly. "Get tired of seeing me?"

Streak smirked, still blushing a light purple. "Not really. Peanut was able to witness a murder in the five minutes me and Grape were in the store."

Peanut nodded. "And, now I'm wanted dead by some people and the safest place is earth. Or...So says Streak. I'm sure he just came here because he wanted to see you, Midnight."

Midnight sighed, still having her arms wrapped around Streak tightly. "And, here I thought you were here for normal reasons. Silly me."

Streak smiled slightly, patting her back. "That doesn't mean I won't spend time with you. We're going to stay here until we get in contact with this one police captain."

Midnight let go of Streak and sat on the couch. "What's that going to do?"

"Well," Streak started as he sat next to her. "He'll be able to tell us when they catch this wanted mobster guy."

"And...Then you'll leave again?" Midnight asked, staring at Streak with big eyes.

"Well..." Streak got a nervous look as he scratched the back of his head. He glanced at where Peanut and Grape were standing. "It's really Peanut and Grape's decision!" He said gesturing at them.

"No, No, No..." Grape said shaking her head. "This is allllll you, Streak." Peanut laughed watching Streak blush a nervous blush.

"Hey, Streak, can we go see our parents?" Peanut asked, after he finished laughing. Streak glanced at the calender. "Um, it's been a week since we-"

"Only a week?!?!" Peanut shouted surprised. He covered his mouth, trying not to make very much noise. "Err...Sorry."

Midnight shook her head. "Don't be. Daddy left about an hour ago to go pick up groceries."

"Anyway, like I was saying...Yes. You may go see your parents. But, you better make up a new excuse if you guys want to go travel again."

Peanut and Grape nodded, and Midnight and Streak watched them walk out the door.
