BEWARE. STRONG USES OF "AWKWARDNESS" AHEAD.

~Part 14~

"Where is he?" Midnight mumbled quietly.
Minutes later Streak walked behind her and placed a hand on her shoulder. She jumped and turned around quickly.
"Eep!" She squealed looking at him.
"Hey, Relax. It's just me..." Streak said smiling.
"Ah, Shesh, Streak! You scared me." Midnight said slipping her hand into his.
"I noticed. Look, You know how you've been wanting to be a little more social?"
"Yeeessss...?" She said raising an eyebrow.
"Well, I met a guy and he's interested in meeting you!" Streak said smiling.
"Really? Oh. Okay." Midnight said as Streak led her to the snack table.
Max was standing next to Grape.
Midnight and Streak stopped.
"Wait, Grape?" Streak said raising his eyebrows.
"Max?!" Midnight said shocked
"Streak?!" Grape said.
"Midnight!?" Max said as his ear twitched.
There was a long silence.
"What are you doing here?" Grape asked confused.
"You know him?" Max said gesturing at Streak.
"Yes! I uh, Lets just say we've crossed paths...Don't worry, Max-" Grape started.
"Wait, Is this the Max you used to date?" Streak said looking at Midnight.
"Yes...." Midnight said with a quiet hissing sound in her voice.
"Hold up, Midnight? You used to date Max??" Grape asked looking at Max.
"Um," Max started nervously.
"Yes. Yes I did. Right until I found out that he was dating my sister." Midnight said glaring at Max.
"Sister?" Grape said scratching her head.
"Sabrina..." Max said looking down.
"Wait, Sabrina's your sister??" Grape said looking at Midnight.
"Yes. She is. By the way, Max. I still don't forgive you." Midnight said as her glare grew bigger.
"Midnight-" Max started before being interrupted.
"Streak, What are you doing here??" Grape asked stopping Max.
"What, I can do stuff on my own!" Streak said rubbing one of his ears.
"Why couldn't he?" Max asked confused.
"Um, No reason..." Streak said quickly.
"So, What, Midnight is your girlfrie-?"
"Yes." Midnight said simply, still glaring. "And, He isn't dating my sister! How about that!"
"Midnight..." Grape and Max said together.
Midnight looked at Grape. Streak looked at Max. A long silence grew over them all. They all sat and looked at each other.
"Talk about awkward." Streak said looking at Grape then Max.
"Yes, How about something to drink..." Grape said turning around at the snack table.
"Please..." Max said sighing.
Midnight squeezed Streak's hand.

Wow. That was very awkward, and quite a lot of info for Grape to take in.

I loved it! I want more! MOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRE!!!!!!!!!

And Streak must feel like a jerk for bringing Midnight into that. Almost as big a jerk as Max feels he is. Bad situation. Awesome...

~Part 15~

"Here," Grape started handing Max a small blue can of soda. "Lets try and enjoy our selves."
"If that's possible." Midnight mumbled to herself.
Max sighed. Grape handed Midnight and Streak a can as well. Streak opened his can and took a sip from it, still holding Midnight's hand.
"So, Streak," Maxwell started. "When did you and Midnight start dating?"
"I...Don't think we should talk about that subject." Streak said as Midnight's ears twitched.
"Oh, really?" Max said sipping his drink.
Midnight glared at him again and squeezed Streak's hand harder.
"What about you and Grape, Max?" Midnight said with a sigh.
"Oh, Almost a year.." Grape said smiling.
"Oh, Really? Huh. How interesting. Very interesting. How so-" Midnight started still glaring.
"Midnight, Can we talk?" Max asked looking at her.
Midnight sighed, squeezed Streak's hand again, then walked a few feet away from them. Max followed Her.
"Thank you..." He said rubbing his forehead.
"What do you want?" Midnight asked crossing her arms.
"I wanted to say that I'm sorry." He said smiling slightly.
"Is that what you told Sabrina?"
Max sighed.
"Look, things were very confusing back then. You see, You wouldn't understand."
"Oh, I'm sure I wouldn't..."
"Please. Forgive me." Max said holding out a hand.
Midnight looked down at it. "...No."
-Meanwhile-
Streak sighed and sipped his drink.
"You really shouldn't drink to much of that." Grape said looking at him.
"...Why?" Streak asked taking another sip.
"Because. It'll mess you up. It's like alcohol for pets."
"I'll be fine."
"You should really be careful though."
Streak sighed.
"Fine. If it'll make you happy, I won't drink that much."
"Good."
They both stood there looking at each other. Grape broke the silence.
"But seriously, Why are you here?" She asked.
"I'm spending time with Midnight. Is that so hard to think?" Streak said smiling.
"Yes. Last time you were with her you didn't seem to interested in her." Grape said sighing.
"Oh, Please..." Streak started.
"...'Oh, Please,' what?"
Streak sighed.
"Okay, I am slightly kinda sort of maybe interested in her." Streak said blushing slightly.
Grape smiled.
"...Good." She said still smiling.

Yeah... toward the end you mixed up Streak and Grape's dialogue. Other than that it was pretty good.

By the way, which Streak is that? I mean, from which point in the storyline?

I loved it. That situation cannot get worse. Okay, so it can, but I wanted it to end on a strong point, and I couldn't think of anything.

Ugh. When I posted the update the whole post got messed up so I though I fixed it the best I could but I guess it wasn't good enough.

I knew this was going to get confusing. Um, This is not the Yarn Ball that is in the comic. It is the one afterwards. And that's all I can say.

I know that. That is irrelevant. I meant at what point in time the Streak in this story came from? He could be a Streak that has already raised a family with Midnight for all we know. He went back in time to spend more time with his Beloved Midnight after witnessing her death from old age for all we know!

Um, Well....
This is between the time that Streak started taking Peanut and Grape places. You see, They kinda take a one week intermission to just relax on earth. this is in that time. It'll be explained later.

"Wait, What?...No?" Max said slightly surprised.
"You heard me." Midnight said crossing her arms.
"B-But, I just want to be friends! I want to try and work this out!"
"Well, too bad." Midnight said turning around.
"Midnight, Please. I don't want you to be mad at me for-"
"As I've said, too bad."
Streak and Grape watched them, away from hearing distance.
"Streak!" A voice said from behind Streak and Grape.
Streak jumped and quickly turned around. A dark maroon cat was walking to them. He had a black muzzles and a dark pink collar.
"Wow, He's got interesting fur colors." Grape whispered to Streak.
"You're one to speak..." Streak whispered back.
"Good point."
"Raspberry!" Streak said scratching the back of his head.
"Wait, you know him?" Grape said looking at them both.
"I, uh, Yes. Yes I do." Streak said smiling slightly.
"Wait, But you know no one here!"
"Oh, thank you. I know some people..."
"What are you doing here? Where's Midnight?" The cat named Raspberry said.
"Uh, She's talking to err....Max..." Streak mumbled quietly.
"Eesh, Isn't he her ex? Yikes." Raspberry said with a small sigh.
"Yeah, He is-" Streak started.
"Wait, How do you know so much about them, Raspberry?"
"Um, Well, I met Streak and Midnight when I moved in a few months ago and we've been friends ever since." Raspberry said smiling.
"R-Really?" Grape said surprised.
"Yeah, Really." Streak said sipping his drink.
"Wow, Streak. I'm proud of you." Grape said setting a hand on his shoulder.
"What? Why? I can met people by myself." Streak said taking another sip.
"Yeah, But. You don't normally." Grape mumbled snickering.
"Forgive my asking, But, I don't think we've properly met. I'm Raspberry." Raspberry said holding a hand out.
"I'm Grape." Grape said shaking his hand.
Midnight slowly walked behind Streak.
"Hey..." She said quietly.
"Oh, Hey, Midnight." Streak said turning around and smiling.
"Hi, Midnight." Raspberry said waving slightly.
"Oh...Hi Raspberry...." Midnight started. "Can we go home?" Midnight finished whispering to Streak.
"Oh, Sure. You wanna go now?" Streak whispered back.
"Yes please." She whispered again.
"Okay, Of course. Are you feeling sick?"
"You could say that..." She said glancing at Max.
"Ah, Okay..." Streak whispered one last time before starting again.
"Well, everyone, we are going to be going right about now." Streak finished turning to his friends.
"Aww...Why?" Raspberry said smiling as he tilted his head slightly.
"Well," Streak started looking at Midnight.
Her ears were down and she had big eyes.
"Well, To tell the truth my stomach has been cramping really bad lately." Streak finished smiling.
Midnight looked at him and smiled.

Streak is so nice to Midnight sometimes.

Midnight was cold in this update. I mean, Max kind of deserves it, but still...

"We can dance!" (And Sing!)

~Part 17~
Streak and Midnight walked through the door to their house.
"We're back." Streak said to Kristian who was on the couch.
"Welcome back...Wait, you're early." He said glancing at a clock that was hanging on the wall.
Midnight's ears folded back.
"I-" Midnight started.
"I started to fell a little sick, so Midnight said we should come home." Streak said smiling at her.
She looked at him with a blank stare. She blinked a few times and soon smiled.
"Oh, Okay. Well, There's some left over diner in te kitchen if you'd like some.
-The Next Morning-
Midnight yawned and rubbed her eyes as she slowly woke up. She looked around the room tiredly. She was in her room.
"I most of fallen asleep on the couch last night..." She thought.
"Man, I hope Streak isn't mad at me for last night..." Midnight yawned again, trying to block that thought out of her mind.
She started to sit up as her light green sheets slipped off of her. She turned her head slightly to find that Streak was fast asleep next to her. He was under that blankets and facing the other way. She smiled and slowly laid back down.
"Mm....Good boy." She mumbled as she snuggled close to his back.
"Hmm....Me?" Streak whispered quietly as he rustled a little.
She jumped slightly and smiled.
"I...I thought you were asleep."
"Mmm...No I'm not." Streak said chuckling as he rolled over to face her.
"Heh, I guess not." Midnight said scooting closer to him.
Streak wrapped an arm around her and smiled blushing lightly.
"Y-....You came to bed with me?" She asked laying her head on his chest.
Streak smiled and yawned.
"Of course."
"I thought...You didn't like sleeping with me." She said placing a hand on his tummy.
"Of course I do." Streak said nuzzling the top of her head.
"Oh...Hmm...Maybe you'd like to do it more often?"
Streak blushed lightly.
"...Um..."
Midnight giggled.

Thank you! I finally was able to get myself caught up.
I've been quite the busy kitty lately. Eheheheh...
Well, I guess it's good that Raspberry got a cameo that portrayed him as a normal cat.
I woulda laughed so hard if it showed his emotions or cuddly sides. He's quite... interesting... and clingy...
