No, she's trying to faze Peanut. He finds mind-reading cool. That means anything that would make anyone else wonder what was slipped in their orange soda will be accepted by Peanut at pretty much face value or excite him over its coolness factor.GameCobra wrote:I find it funny i spent the majority of this comic looking at Sabrina's hand in the second panel just because i kept thinking it was a human hand. Great detail by the way XD
On am amusing note, i just remembered that mind-reading at least counts as something cool for Peanut, so Sabrina still has hope!

But yeah, what i meant to say is that i think Sabrina can still faze him.

Considering what he knows about her and Fido, as well as the comic you linked to (not to mention Imaginate, too!) Peanut seems to have a very high tolerance for weird stuff. I think she'd likely have to give him the works to faze him.GameCobra wrote:That's what i meant though. course, when i say cool, i probably thought back on Peanut's exact words too much @_@Indagare wrote:No, she's trying to faze Peanut. Panel two is awesome. Just sayin
Also, yeah, I figured Peanut just isn't interested in this stuff at all. And lol at the alt text.

I think this panel is one of the only ones where I've seen Peanut be slightly scared.

I love where this is going. Seriously, I cannot describe it.
The candle flicker was a really nice touch. I missed it until I read these comments. I am not very observant.
I doubt Peanut will be fazed by anything in this arc. Sabrina, on the other hand...
If Peanut tells Sabrina that he knows about her and Fido, then the tables will turn!

My eyes will pop out of my head (for reals) if Peanut tells that to Sabrina.

I'm hoping we get to see an Eleven-Headed Grognak!
Also, Sabrina is awesome. And I love Peanut's fourth wall bending.
Also, 3,000th post, y'all. But don't talk about that.

like Sabrina?
when don't know the Kitsune's gender, and Sabrina seems to make similar facial expressions to the Kitsune's
and it might explain her knowledge of the Dragon

Sabrina is Tarot's student! And the great kitsune is on a higher level than the dragon. So...
Tarot > Sabrina
Great Kitsune > Spirit Dragon
Great Kitsune =! Sabrina

Relationships of characters don't need to reflect the relationships of the players. Also, why does everyone assume Great Kitsune has an avatar? (S)he's the equivalent of a DM, after all.

I've been saying that for a while, Sleet, but people are persistent in their belief that Great Kitsune is also playing the game.

Does anyone have a direct quote I can site next time this inevitably comes up? I just figured Great Kitsune didn't have an avatar; I didn't know it was confirmed.
I liked this one a lot. I just love how much Peanut takes this all in stride. And how ridiculous this all is.

at the demon in the background. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Edit: at the sign they are using a rat tail as money would that be a Final Fantasy reference or am I just over thinking that?

this raises way to many questions like: " how much ice do they put in the drinks there"
and
"how's the gas price?"

"Why would you ever want to connect the dots?"

The Rat's tail was what upgraded your classes in the first Final Fantasy. This is just a guess too, but i think it's also a common drop from most table-top RPGs uncluding D&D and Ultima. Whatever happened to the days of rat slaying in these new-fangled RPGS

Last panel, Red Hot Ambrosian! I like how Peanuts thinking in the last panel.
Re: Arc #39: We're Snowed In!
Peanut must be thinking of how to put his evil master plan in action now that he gained access to a higher plane. OK, weird ideas aside, was that really a cameo from another comic (which I've never read before, so for me that was just a random minotaur) or just a mystical creature?
