Well; I'm not really anyone too special, so just call me Absol. I've been a fan of Housepets for quite some time now and lurked around here for a little while. Figured I might as well join up and see if I can add anything worthwhile to this place. I'm a writer/role-player(in other words: Joey

), so you might see me around those boards with me visiting some of the comic related threads when I feel it applicable.

Also... I might lose a lot of potential friends for this, but I am very blunt. I say/type things without really knowing the possible consequences for them; some of the things I say may seem mean spirited, but, 90% of the time, it isn't. I'm not asking for permission to be a complete jerk, just giving fair warning that my inner content filter is a little shoddy.

Other than that; well, I hope this is a good ride while it lasts.

(P.S. Sorry to all Joey fans; I didn't mean to insult him by comparing him to me.)

Aww, no need to down-play yourself. Everyone has something special about them. :3 And maybe for the consequential reasoning. You could maybe just read over your post once or twice with different mind-sets before you post. I do it all the time. ^^

Hi, everybody! (Think "The Simpsons")
I'm Jon, an 18-year-old recluse from Alaska. Except with people that my friends have introduced me to, I normally am a very shy person. I mumble a lot because I get nervous VERY easily.
I have been growing a beard and my hair since August of last year. A lot of people in my classes hound on me for looking like a terrorist.
I'm currently going to college to get a Masters of Science in Computer Science.
I'm probably going to sign up for a Creative Writing class as well, because I was thinking of writing a HP! fanfic. (I would probably work on it 7000+ words at a time and submit it to people via PM for error checking and suggestions.)

While I don't consider myself a furry, I don't discriminate. I don't like to discriminate people because there's a lot of people in this world that are good. I don't think it's fair to hate someone before knowing them.

My username is the way it is because that is normally my Game Name in a lot of the games that I play.
I did create a pet character to represent me on these forums.
He nearly mirrors my personality. He's shy, recluse, nervous, friendly (when he's around people he knows), doesn't normally hold a grudge, and loves chocolate and caffeine (He can't suffer from chocolate poisoning for the purpose of him being a character).
My "pet's" name is Raspberry Jam (please don't hate. I'm not very original)
Reasons: I love raspberries, and I've always wondered what a RED cat would look like.
Raz's main fur color is Red (Dark red to represent just-ripe berries) and his belly, face, and ear color (on the inside) are black (to represent seeds).
He wears a Magenta collar (to represent prefectly ripe berries) with a Green Raspberry leaf charm hanging from his collar.
I may make another character that is the polar opposite of mine (though I probably already have.)

I normally lurk the forums, but hope to make a slightly bigger presence in the coming weeks and months.
By the way, Housepets! rules!
