I played the first one, good game.

Wild mass guess: most of the Housepets gang will be teleported to a strange box canyon in the middle of nowhere. Grape, Peanut, Zach, and Max take the "blue" base, while Bino, Joey, Fox, and Sasha will take the "red" base. From there hilarious hijinks ensue as they wage the most pointless game of capture the flag ever!

Peanut runs away from home and Grape, Tarot, Fido, and Fox decide to go after him. Nobody knows why he ran away except King. King thinks Peanut was right to run away, but he knows that Peanut will need help, so he tags along. Peanut and King bond while on the trip, and share all of their secrets. King even tells Peanut about the Cosmic Game and the truth about Tarot.

The reason Peanut left makes them both uneasy. It was an unforgivable act.

Peanut isn't real. Everyone is just pretending he is to feed Grape's delusions. They do this out of pity for her and her tragic past. Poor Peanut, the truth behind his absence is just so sad.

King is unaware of this, so when Grape and "Peanut" come around the corner one day, King says hello to Grape but not Peanut. He accidentally breaks her delusion. Fox later explains everything to King, but the damage has been done, and no one can console Grape. King decides to fix the problem that he has made and asks Grape out. A wonderful relationship begins that will heal the gaping void that the real Peanut left in Grape's Soul.

And.... where is Peanut? And if that's true, why do other pets communicate with "Peanut" even if Grape isn't around >_> ?

Tarot and the dragon will turn out to be the real villains of the comic. She's only pretending to be in love with Peanut so she can foil Pete's attempts of getting an avatar near her. Tarot and the dragon were lying to Peanut when they called Pete a jerk because the griffin was only trying to put an end on their evil schemes by using any means necessary. Pete only turned joel into a dog to give him a fresh start in life. He just wanted to use him as well as an avatar for mere convenience, but he's furious because he can't find an avatar near enough of the dragon so he can stop her

Except the fact that the eye color gene and the fur color gene aren't connected at all. So it doesn't make them siblings. However, you did a good job noticing their inverted color schemes
