Really? Which one?

If I could use any, I'd use Tarot or King.... But meh, there was no-one to give it to ;).

Personally, I've only seen two instances of carbon paper in use. In physics class, where we used it with a "tapping" kind of device to record timings on "ticker tape."

And the second, well, you can't really say "in use." "CC'ing" in e-mail...I never knew that CC stood for carbon copy until my mom explained it me a year or two ago.

Is it me, or does Thomas have this thing for grossly outdated companies that have long since been taken out due to new tech?

Oh, and I thoroughly expect this to happen in regards to the end of this arc: Brick Joke

Oh, you know it will come back in some random one-off or something.

I used to use carbon paper for a lot of things; using an electric typewriter demands it! x3

I fail to see both what you are referring to and what your logic is behind the aformentioned TVTrope's application to the denoument of this rediculously movie-reference-full arc.

No, it was just a cat that had a musical note and piano keys tag. And the name is Syek on the tags instead of Keys =)

I'm saying that sometime later, we'll randomly see Thomas over a treasure chest or something similar for a punchline. I mean, it is ending abruptly, so a one-off sometime later, as, yes, a brick joke, would probably wrap it up nicely! Or, maybe I'm missing something, since I haven't seen "Ocean's 11." I'm not denouncing the arc, I'm just saying what I think will happen!

Also, finding out what carbon paper is, is usually just a wiki search away: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_paper

That was used in the olden days to make copies. Since we have things like photocopiers these days, most kids have no idea what it is, or what it was used for. I didn't know until my mom told me when I asked what a "cc" was on an e-mail.

I have some carbon paper around here somewhere. >.>

When I was little, I used it to make multiple copies of drawings or I'd pretend I worked in an office. "The first copy goes to the boss, the second copy goes on file, and the original goes to my records just in case." I used a manual typewriter at that point, and didn't get my electric one until I was 12 or 13. That thing was so awesome.

When I was younger (still not in my teens, though), I published a little, hand-written (later typed) neighborhood newsletter thing. Carbon paper. I know I'm older than a lot of you guys, but I'm not that old. *giggles*

In my country, Ebly, carbon copy paper is not used anymore. We use chemical copy paper for legal documents such as contracts, mortgages, leasing, etc, but the good ol' black sheet has definitely disappeared.

Your still use carbon paper but you just don't know it..

those documents that say press hard, an have white/yellow/pink sheet layers, are the new style carbon paper.

The old style was really in use alot in WW2 to the 70's? when the army said to file that in tripclate, you put carbon paper inbetween four sheets of typing paper, loaded that into your typewriter and did your report, you would be the copies at the same time..
An if you made a mistake you have to go back an fix all the copies!! Arrrgh

He's got the map. He just freaked out because he thought he had his thumb over the lens (which would result in a black picture) when he accidentally printed it on...yup, black carbon paper. He even wondered out loud why he would have carbon paper in the printer. So all he would have to do is print it out again on normal paper, and he'll have the map.

Stephen King says that writers have an "ideal reader" in mind when they pen something, and that they wonder how that one, specific person will react when they read a given work.

Peanut's ideal reader is Grape.

I also believe the audience he has in mind is more of a cat audience with Grape in specially in mind. the dogs aren't giving him any slack as it is, with the exception of Joey no doubt.
