Well with Cesium's claim, I was thinking about a timeline that was approximately like this.

9:35 - Bullet Cesium and Yukiko leaves Bullet's Apartment
9:40 - Crayon, Genesis and Maple exit form Parkview Apartments.
9:45 - Bullet, Cesium, Crayon, Genesis, Maple and Yukiko meet up.
9:55 - Arrival at Subway
10:45 - Arrival and purchase of Tickets
11:00 - To Ant Farm Express
11:10 - To Pharaoh's Fury
11:15 - To Fly Swatter
11:20 - Current time

Just about, completely wrong, a mismatch? Comments anyone?

By the way, I heard you have an approved character in queue, Rendak. Why don't you bring him in and see if he can head to the zoo or meet with Flash? Of course, you don't have to if you want to save it for the next in-game day.

I'll get onto that when I have time: I'm behind in my RPs.

Edit: Actually, can anyone join that Arc? I'm already in another RP where it's just me and JoFoxx in our arc, and that always seems pointless.
Yeah, we end up in way to many RPs where it's just the two of us. rofl

Maybe Nitz and/or I should make a guest character or two.

Eh, I wouldn't mind making a character but the zoo's not in my territory and just another neighborhood pet might evolve too much for a secondary character... Oh wait... I was planning another guest for sometime already though I didn't want to flood my guest list too fast, or maybe I'll just have it to be a secondary character since it is a static character.

Maybe expect the character sheet by tonight?

First, no one is in a hurry, so you don't have to finish it by tonight. Second, you don't have to do it by yourself, I said I would make one too. Why not discuss with me or something? Third, it doesn't have to be a guest character, it can simply be a strike character.

And I never commented but your timeline seems fine to me.

By the way, how come the atmosphere here seems so... Serious recently? Well, it could be my aura or something. I guess everyone is swayed by my magical aura influence? XD

As far as I know, YsF has never had those character limits. I'd go ahead and make a 3rd if your really want to. In fact, I'd much rather have my characters interact with characters who have long-term possibilities.

Hm, I guess we really don't have a pool restriction. If you want, I will change mine to a normal guest too, Nitz! Since they are a pair after all.

Edit: There! They are normal guests now! If no one objects, we will bring them in later then?

Um... You don't mean to say "Main Characters", do you? 'Cause that's what I'm wanting here... Main characters to meet up with Flash and then May and have actual meaning because they aren't leaving the storyline as soon as that arc is over...

Humm? I thought...

Main Characters are always there, and will have development with their interactions.

Guest Characters are sometimes there, will have development with their interactions.

Secondary Characters are almost always somewhere specific, used for characterization of Mains and provide information about secrets, quirks or anything that could be hard to pull out of the main. May have development WITH the Main character they are related to and/or have slight development on their own.

Strike Characters are there once, will have development but disappears after their arc(s) is over.

NPCs and Owners are secondary characters.

Well, even as guests, they can come back again. Especially if they bonded with Flash or May. They WILL be back when the situation allows (or when they are needed/when you ask for them), so it won't be meaningless. You are not supposed to interact with the same characters few (in-game) days in a row anyway.

Besides, the point is to have fun. As long as you have fun, it is never, ever pointless! Development of the characters may be a part of the joy, but interaction should always be the main dish!

He's already approved but only if he's going to the zoo is what I think Aqua meant. Though these things are best heard from the source itself.

Yeah, that is what I meant, only if you want him to go to the zoo. I was only asking this because Raccoon and Jofoxx need other players. However, it doesn't matter anymore, since me and Nitz already made our characters. So if you don't want to, me and Nitz's characters will go. But if you do, then me and Nitz's character will stay put.

Okay, so Neko said "one character per day", right? But I think 2 real-life months is good enough for a wait. So as long as Neko DID approve your character, Aethon can join the game right now. If not, Aethon can join after I see him for myself. No objections?

And now that is out of the way, Aethon DOESN'T have to go to the zoo. We have Cerea and Keith for that. So if Aethon is joining this day, he is free to do whatever he wants, like talk to Marc and Angel or something. Of course, I don't mind if Aethon wants to join the zoo arc. Feel free to tag along, if that is what you wish. Or wait for the next day, that is fine too.

I never said it is a rule. And didn't you see what happens when you only interact with specific characters? Is asking you to interact with other characters as well for the next in-game day such an unreasonable suggestion? Especially an in-game day in YsF can last for months. Like I said, it is not a rule. I might have phrased my words too strong (and I am sorry if that is the case), but you don't have to listen to my suggestion if you don't want to.

(And as for why I said this in the first place, it is because you seemed to not like if the characters leave immediately after an arc. Guest characters can appear in arcs as often as they don't appear in arcs, up to 3 arcs in a row max.)

I know it makes sense for friends to only hang out with friends. But as a player, you can nudge your character to meet with other characters without making it any less illogical, right?

And if you are wondering why Bullet is still hanging out with the same characters from (in-game) yesterday, it just kind of happened. I will try to interact with characters he haven't interacted with in the next in-game day.

So do you object to have the Lylia pair stay as guest characters? Or do you disagree with my decision of letting Aethon join? You have to tell me, because I am not a mind reader. I can assume you have no objections, but I would rather hear it from you.

I am saying I want you to make a character which Flash and Tiara will be able to interact with in a meaningful way on a regular basis. For some reason "guest character" doesn't say that to me, but do what you will...

Well, I am in favor of "just do it and see how this turns out". I am pretty confident we can have plenty of "big" interaction regularly enough, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, I will try to organize a little with Nitz tomorrow and bring them into the RP. Also, Aethon can join the RP anytime, Rendak, in case you are not sure. And please link the sheet here, so I can link it in the first page of the OOC.

OK, let's try again...

-type-
Main

-Name-
Apollo Greek

-Gender-
Male

-Age-
35 HYO//10PYO

-Species-
Dog (Great Dane/Side-Striped Jackal mixed breed)

-Personality-
Apollo is a lively and friendly dog, thanks both to his particular breed and to his previous job (see ‘Backstory’). He is a good listener and has always a good word for those who need it. In fact, he tends to work more for the others than for himself. Apollo loves the big cities, and he’s not particularly happy of living in a ‘smalltown’, but he’s intended to make the best of it. Definitely NOT an indoor pet. He is gay.

-Appearence-
Apollo appears like a majestic black jackal, 5’ 5” tall. He got the height and the black, short fur from his dane mother, and the delicate build and muzzle from his jackal father. He wears a golden collar with a tag shaped as an ostrich white, curly feather.

-Backstory-
Apollo and Artemis (see CS) were adopted since pup/hatchling to be trained and work at Las Vegas’ pet-friendly Ramses’ Hotel and Casino for several years, before the economic crisis stopped the flow of customers and forced the owner to close. Apollo used to be the hotel’s valet and touristic guide, a job he fulfilled with enthusiasm.

-Strengths&weaknesses-
S – Very sociable and trusty, he has an excellent memory
W – He trusts people too much, and when he feels he’s being fooled he becomes really angry.

-Other notes-
Apollo and Artemis’ father, Winston Greek, is the retired owner of the former Ramses’ Hotel & Casino. The man lost almost everything to pay his debts, but saved enough for a comfortable life for himself and his pets, sometimes offering consulting services for young managers. Apollo loves TV, it’s the only thing that could keep him at home…although he’ll spend a lot of time outside with his trusty laptop filled with shows and movies of every genre.

-Stats-
S – 5
P – 5
E – 5
C – 8
I – 8
A – 6
L – 5

COLOR

-type-
Main

-Name-
Artemis Greek

-Gender-
Female

-Age-
40 HYO//10PYO

-Species-
Bird (White Common Buzzard)

-Personality-
Artemis likes to interact with people and pets, due to being raised as pet since she was a hatchling. Artemis likes to play the ‘wise mother’ with those she holds in sympathy, Apollo being her favorite. She can be quite snotty, sometimes, but she rarely means ill. When she’s upset at someone, that someone best have a first-aid kit handy!

-Appearance-
Artemis stands at 57 cm of length and a wingspan of 150 cm, green eyes, completely white plumage save for black feathertips on wings and tail.

-Backstory-
Artemis was born, like Apollo, in a pet farm that provides specimen for the entertainment industry. She took a liking to Apollo and always worked well with him. Both of them never knew a life outside the one they were raised for. She’s still uneasy at the idea of this new life in Yorkshire Field, but is not going to make a fuss out of it.

-Strengths&weaknesses-
S – Very perceptive, loyal and protective
W – She will too easily jump to conclusion and go all the way to defend Apollo.

-Other notes-
Artemis likes to stay outdoors, but she hates hunting, and is quite picky on her food. So far, her hunger hasn’t been tested enough to make her dangerous. Artemis likes watching TV together with Apollo. Rarely she separates from him. The Greek family lives in the town houses area, north of the park.

Oh, by the way, have you ever been to the IRC? You should come to #YsF sometimes, even though people are rarely there anymore. But when I am on the forums, chances are I am on the IRC too. It is a good alternative to the OOC if you want to discuss something with me. However, OOC is still good, of course.

Heheh, the process isn't that quick right now, since I have to send the update to ctc, then ctc updates the first page. XD

This reminds me I have to update the arc lists and such, before they pile up.
