Like, Maybe an update?

Chapter 3 Part 2

Streak stepped into the city with Grape and Peanut close behind. He yawned and stretched.
"Mmn! It feels like we've been walking for months!"
He walked over to the nearest bench and sat on it to catch his breath.
Peanut sat next to him.
"It was longer than it looked..." Peanut said groaning.
"Streak...I'm blaming it on you." Grape said sitting next to peanut.
"Wha-Why?! I didn't make the long walk!" Streak said rolling his eyes.
"But you did park that far away." Peanut said rubbing his paw over face.
Streak sat and stared at Grape.
"Um...But...I Uh....Oh,I give up." Streak said sighing.
Peanut and Grape chuckled.
"So!" Streak started standing up.
"What do you guys want to check out first?"
"Well I don't know, Maybe-" Peanut was interrupted by Streak.
"Why don't we just take a look around!"
Streak started to walk off and Peanut and Grape, who knew there was no stopping him, stood up and followed him. They passed buildings and buildings.
"Wheres all the houses?" Peanut asked.
"There still where there should be. They just added more buildings."
"It's so different..." Grape said trying to keep up with Streak.
"Well,Do you expect them to leave the city exactly the same way it was fifty years ago?" Streak said peeking over his shoulder.
"I gue-" Grape tried saying.
"Where do you guys live?I wonder if your house is still standing?"
"Could you stop interr-" Before Peanut could finish Streak interrupted him.
"Is you house Red?Whi-Oh I know what color your house is!"
Peanut sighed and Grape patted his back before speaking up.
"Just don't try..."
"So! We could get a bite to eat then track down your house?" Streak asked walking to a city map.
"That's sounds fine. I am kinda hungry." Peanut said following him.
"Yeah,Me too." Grape agreed.
"Yeah,That would be the timetravel. Sometimes it messes with your body." Streak said smiling looking for a place to eat.
"What about that place?" Peanut said pointing at a spot on the map.
Streak snickered.
"Peanut, That's a clothes store."
Peanut and Grape watched Streak scan the map waiting for him to speak up.
"Here's one," Streak started tapping a spot on the map. "Do you guys like Chinese? It may be a different fifty years in the future,But it's still from china."
"Hey,I'm fine with it." Peanut said shrugging.
"Yeah me too, I mean anything here is going to be strange and unusual." Grape said as Streak started to walk off.
"This way!"

Chapter 3 Part 3

They sat at a rounded table with 3 floating chairs hovering around it. Streak stared at a small pamphlet labeled "Menu" as peanut fiddled with his chair while sitting on it.
"This place is so weird." Grape said leaning forward on the table.
"Hey,When I was growing up me and my brother came to a place like this all the time for lunch." Streak said keeping his eyes on the menu.
"You have a brother?" Peanut said looking at him.
"Do you guys like shrimp?" Streak said changing the subject.
"Yeah,I love it." Grape said smiling.
"It's okay." Peanut said laying his elbows on the table.
"I'll order some of that,And how about some reta'inchala' chicken."
"Wha-" Grape said as her ears perked up.
"You won't eat it if I told you."
Streak order the food and a waiter came and set three plates full of shrimp covered in rice and something that looked like chicken.
"Mmm....This stuff is good." Peanut said as he ate the chicken.
Streak looked at him as he used his fork to poke the rice.
"I agree, What's in this stu-" Grape started.
"You really don't want to know." He said looking over at a table beside them with two police eating as they talked.
"Well,I don't want to know. It would probably ruin the good taste of-"
Streak had stopped listening to Peanut and he stared at the cops eat. His ear twitched as Peanut babbled on. Minutes passed as he listened to there conversation.
"so I think-....Streak?Hey,Streak?Streak!"
Streak jumped and looked at Grape who was yelling at him.
"What? You don't have to yell." He said turning to Peanut and Grape who were sitting across for him.
"Well Apparently,Streak,Your more interested in those cops then us." Peanut said glancing at the police.
"I over heard what they were talking about. Someone died." Streak took a drink of water that was siting next to his plate.
"Oh wow,Streak, Your lunch conversation are just amazing." Peanut said sighing.
"No,It's true. They said he was shot in the forehead,But...They also said it was suicide."
"So?" Grape said sighing.
"So,Why was he shot in the forehead? You normally would shoot yourself in th-" Streak started saying.
"Wha-How do you know about shooting yourself?"
"I'm going to go check it out." Streak said tapping a few buttons on his wristband.
"Why?It's none of yo- Isn't that illegal?" Grape said watching Streak as fifty three dollars slowly slide out of his band.
"I didn't make it. I had the money before." Streak stood up and stretched.
"So you keep like, everything in that wristband?" Peanut asked setting his fork down.
"Anything that will fit. Come on!" Streak said before walking off randomly.

So Streak is a time traveling detective now? That's awesome. Detective fiction is my favorite!

Please let Streak have a deduction show. And make Peanut the Watson to Streak's Holmes! Grape can be Inspector Lestrade...

I think Streak should be the one worried. Your profile of him said he was 16, and I think it has been established that Streak has Hopper's brains so the zombies would be after him, no?

Streak: Luckily I still have My brain maker, SO I can get my brains eaten and still be okay. Wait, I can give zombies brains!
Streak does a montage of rebuilding the brain maker as a gun that gives zombies brains.

One hour later

Streak: I saved eveyone but Hopper. He could not be rebrained, since he had no brains to begin with. So I just made him play games that sap your smarts, like grand theft auto 4......OMG what is he doing to that guy...... that is not a guy...... WTH
