Re: Music.
I'd totally post Cee Lo Green's newest single, but... it has more than swear words in it. It's name is one! It sounds surprisingly like oldies though and I love it so much. Look it up if you're intrigued enough.

It's just a tribute to the best song in the world.

Sleet is right. That is not the best song in the world, it's just a tribute
Also, I'm not really much into Tenacious D. How about some of this? This band is really good.

Re: Music.
I heard this song in a movie on youtube and I've been listening to it a lot since then. The melody and the beat feel so strong, and I love the use of violin especially in the opening.

no. when you here creepy and robot, that should be what comes to mind. our top men of science could not create a creepier robot if they tried, as this is profoundly ceepy.

Re: Music.
That's a neat music video, but it's not one of my favorite Daft Punk songs.
Here's Hiromi Uehara, a crazy Japanese jazz pianist. Two great live performances are as such:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0wARmRtKtE (the several-minute drum solo is tragically cut on this video so it'll be under 10 minutes.)

Oh. My. Stars.
Don't just listen to this video; it's just an unremarkable cover band playing Sharp Dressed Man. You have to watch it. More specifically, watch the drummer.

I usually don't pay attention to "buzz bands" but I tried out How to Dress Well - and it blew away my expectations. Buy Love Remains now, or if you don't have the time or money, at least snatch up "You Won't Need Me Where I'm Goin'". Such a great song.

Re: Music.
I have one, but I never get to play it since it takes up so much space it can't go anywhere but my basement, which my parents have filled up with junk so I can't reach it. And I can't take it to college since it's so loud. I wish I could play it, since drums are my best improvising instrument.Dubiousity wrote:Wish I had a drum set :/
Now, an electric drum set would be awesome, but those are so expensive.
