Hmm, ninja post by Rick...I actually have my brightness turned down, and Zach still looks slightly pinkish, or, maybe, gray, now that it's been mentioned. It depends on your interpretation of the color, really.

The reason he isn't is because he doesn't have enough color to be determined otherwise. I always tint my grays with a little bit of color, but they're still gray. If you're seeing him as pink, the saturation on your monitor is probably really strong . . .

As you can see, the thumb points left. x3 Kind of a wonky thumb, though... like, high on the hand... amazing for hitchhiking, apparently. Mine bends like that.

Also, Zach looks pink-tinged gray to me. On this PC, anyway. My saturation at home is screwed up all kinds of ways.

Yeah, so I found my "monitor calibration option."

Apparently, my graphics card color was conflicting some other system color setter or something. Either way, my gamma was way too high, and my brightness needed to be even lower.

Zach is gray. With a tinge of pink. It's there, but small.

...

Actually, tinge of purple. A very light purple.

...dangit, I was wrong. I still think Zach looks far cuter pink though.

I finally figured out that's supposed to be a right hand with the thumb pointing downward.

However, due to Rick's crippling inability to draw rock monsters, it looks like a left hand clenched into a fist with an extra protruding digit.

Also, I still think that this arc is a dream dreamed by Grape yet again. There's no way all of this could be real, right? In the end, it'll become clear that the only people searching for Zach are Jerry, Tiger & Marvin, and they'll find him freezing standing by thrash bins.

i wonder if by any chance these comics are leading up to something either Grape or Zach doesn't realize is a dream that is Thanksgiving related?

Yes the search party will also find the cave and meet Pete who has a Thanks Giving dinner all set up and they'll have it together... but thats coming from an optimist
