I always make a sketch in pencil first before outlining it on the computer, so I do both traditional and digital at the same time. But that also means I will have to double my effort. If either of them is bad, the result will end up bad.

However, my traditional art isn't that good on it's own. Since I don't have any proper tools other than pencil, eraser, and ruler. I had to improvise the light table with an emergency LED lamp.

Now only if I have a scanner, a real light table, or a tablet...

I've made another, hopefully surrealistic picture, which is now third, so it sort of forms a trilogy, since all three I made have some common topic/thought (please don't be angry at me if it's stupid

). I actually wanted to do it a few weeks ago, shortly after the second one, but due to some... complications... I made it in last few days, quite late.

It's called Checkpete.

For some reason, seeing that drawing has me stricken with the desire to see Housepets! characters dressed up like the cast of Left 4 Dead 2. I'm thinking Peanut as Ellis, Max as Nick, Grape as Rochelle and Fido as Uncle Phil.

I guess in my mind "baseball bat" immediately leads to "hit zombies with it alongside your three friends."
