Yep. A tea tree which was probably about 3 inches in diameter. So it didn't take long. Although I did do it with an axe.

It happened twice to me. That was at the time the phone systems still were analog.

An electrical fire... I think you don't mean sparks or a filmed fireplace in TV. So the answer is no.
