For example:
"I'm on holiday at this resort!"
is the exact same thing as
"I'm on vacation at this resort!"
or
"I'm vacationing at this resort!"

Banned for banning ArcWolf before I could ban them for not realizing that the word holiday is defined as 1) a holy day, or 2) a day on which one is exempt from work; specifically : a day marked by a general suspension of work in commemoration of an event; whereas a vacation is chiefly defined as a respite or a time of respite from something (according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary) - and are thus fairly distinct from each other in meaning.
