Yup. This image is from after Orion evolves from a Small Lesser to a Lesser Taratect, so he's got longer legs, a bigger ruff, and more varied colouration.

Yuuuuup. I was right. Level ten, evolution.

Though for a situation designed by someone apparently intimately familiar with the biology of spiders and other animals, I'm not sure why they couldn't at least get the terminology right. Evolution's a process that occurs over generations, not an individual creature changing from one form to another. The word Karan's looking for here is metamorphosis, not evolution. But, you know, gotta make it sound better for the marketing department.

Oh, they became friends way earlier than this.

This scene is where Orion and Apollo are reunited. Apollo left to go evolve and, uh, answer the call of the wild... which involved going into a cavern full of lava lakes, which Orion had to spend a lot of time preparing for in order to follow.

That's been a learning experience for me, too.

Figuring out where the mouth goes has been a particularly hard thing for me, and this has been an incentive to practice so I can get better at doing it.

We soon arrive at the accident scene. An unevolved frog, crushed beneath the boulder it was trying to move. Gotta get that off him soon, he looks on the edge of... well, croaking. Right now, though, the frog is screaming bloody murder.

If he was crushed, I would imagine that he wouldn't be alive. In fact, he would be splattered all over the ground.

The frog was rolling a boulder that was too heavy for him, so he lost control and had it roll onto him. Wasn't high speed, so no splatting, but enough to do serious damage.
