I was looking at the first few posts for the Tails of Babylon thread when I noticed someone mentioned a webcomic crossover RPG, so boom, I made a thread to talk about it.
Does anybody know if it has Cucumber Quest or Megatokyo characters?

No and no. Also, it will no longer be a webcomic crossover, but rather use original characters based on different webcomic genres.

Oh, why did they do that? It was a genius idea.

Chaoko is working on the idea little by little in the background, and it's gone through several concept revisions. He did make a demo in commemoration of the Star Warriors Kickstarter, don't ask me details, no clue what that is, can't even run the game on my almost 10 year old office laptop.

And the decision was made because Chaoko thought that he was limiting the story he could tell by using existing characters that weren't his, so for much better creative freedom, he went with all original characters. Demo found here.

So Tails of Babylon will no longer have any of the regular cast? That is disappointing but I can understand why he thought it was best go use original characters.

Thread Bound will no longer have the regular cast. It's a completely separate game from Tails of Babylon.

Oh OK. Getting confused and misunderstanding stuff tends to be a big problem when you have been forced into exile for 2 years. LOL
