My classmate drew a :3 on our desk and I changed it into this (My Artistic Skill is below Zero :\)
I was bored, so I speed-drew (45 minutes is speed-drawing for me):
Then afterwards, since I had no internet, and I couldn't post this up, I did this on Paint...with a laptop touchpad mouse...yeah...(2-3 hours):
Sorry for the image loads!

Re: Art Thread
it's not a piece on paper or by pen but does this count?
it is my current work in progress, i hope it does count because this is the only type of art i can show easily.

Re: Art Thread
That's awesome! Is that modeled after anything, or did you design it from scratch?

Cool city, dude! It almost looks scale-like! What program did you use?
Art is anything that starts with an incentive and ends with a product. It takes any shape or form whether it lasts for a brief moment or for a lifetime.

Google Sketchup 7, it's a free program to download, for rendering i use Kerkythea which is also free to download.

Re: Art Thread
Overall, it's really good. Psyke is right; the head's a tad small, but other than that, and the fact that you switched saturation levels in your colors, it looks good.

Re: Art Thread
I must say, that's pretty darn good, laid out, and everything! I don't see the head difference, however, I do feel the need to tell you to make the headphones in an arc position instead of in a rectangular position, because I think that's what might be modifying the head a bit too much...

Re: Art Thread
What's the policy on posting art by others that you've colored?
Rick Griffin's Iron Artist 67 Commission Sketch, colored by me.
Light Greyfield; Wolf
Age: Classified
Origin: Unknown
Occupation: Spotter for and companion of Keith Greyfield; his owner, sniper and ex-Marine.
