Lillith's bio sheet. Turned out way too big to post directly here.

I still am not able to figure out how Infernal genetics work or even if they are born the same way as other mammals are.

No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

With the revelation that Pete and Dragon are siblings, really took that as an opportunity to diversify family relations.Amazee Dayzee wrote:I still am not able to figure out how Infernal genetics work

Her mother gave her praise for trying to murder her brother, sister-in-law and nephew, but didn't succeed and had to flee? I would have thought that Gretchen would have saw that as a failure and punished Lilith for not finishing the family off.
Re: Art Thread
Really for taking the initiative. Gretchen is rather laissez-faire about things she feels are beneath her. But she liked how Lillith did things, regardless of if she failed or not.
Also, remember none of them can die, but can be incapacitated.. They're just happy making their lives horrid.

If Halphas knows that his wife is very happy to inflict excruciating pain on the damned, I'm wondering why he would still be with her and have a SECOND child with her because of how badly she raised the first child.
Or is this just a case of love makes you stupid (or Halphas is whipped)?

Re: Art Thread
Believe it or not, I've been wondering this for a while. Kinda guessed that various demons would have a level of sadism to them, so Gretchen isn't exactly abnormal. Halphas is the odd one for being much more relatively passive, but he doesn't mind the others normally. But to him, attacking family is crossing a line.
As to why he's still with Gretchen, the idea I've held to the longest is that their pairing was more for political reasons and he settled into it from the start. Basically expanding where they have influence. Remember, they're basically nobility.

Yeah I keep forgetting about that but then again its usually Macabre that you put more focus on.
Anyway, that does mean since Macabre is a prince that Gretchen is a princess right?

Re: Art Thread
Marquess, actually, as their parents aren't king and queen, but duke and duchess. So with Macabre gone, Lillith would be the heir.
And you're right, despite starting as a neat-looking foil to Mirage, Macabre has gotten a ton of attention regarding backstory that Mirage still hasn't gotten. I've had a couple stories I've wanted to write for her, and some art ideas, but never manage to commit to them.

The only bunnicorn out of a litter of bunnies? XD Or maybe she was one of the rabbits that got killed off in "Watership Down" and got reincarnated as a Celestial. I'm just joking around. You really don't have to pay attention to me. Besides if a wolf and a bunnicorn can have an otter baby, I'm sure she will have a bunch of non-bunnicorn siblings.

Re: Art Thread
I'll admit, I did briefly consider giving Mirage a sibling, but that was dropped really early. It was one of the ideas that came up when I was conceptualizing the blue rabbit, Caleb. Side note, need to update his looks.

Make sure you post Caleb's new look when you do.D-Rock wrote:I'll admit, I did briefly consider giving Mirage a sibling, but that was dropped really early. It was one of the ideas that came up when I was conceptualizing the blue rabbit, Caleb. Side note, need to update his looks.

So Mirage is an only child then I take it?

Anybody who she treats like a brother or sister and has a close bond like that with?
Re: Art Thread
Yes, actually!
That would be Ermina. So much so that she's basically an honorary aunt to Oliver.

Let's streamline this; Macabre is the only one of my spiritual OCs who has a sibling.

So then other young celestials don't have cousins or siblings to play with then. That is sad. But it is the way you wanted your world to go I guess.
Re: Art Thread
Been playing Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, and been wanting to make this. As the story mode is an adaptation of the Power Rangers comics, it includes the Ranger Slayer, a corrupted pink ranger. I was surprised that she didn't get a new morpher, despite getting a new attire, so here's my idea on that.
Also made a base that I'll allow anyone to use how they like. got it by referencing a Legacy morpher I own.
Re: Art Thread
And got the Crimson Hawk coin for Ryu Ranger. This one was entirely digital, as it helped that the design was relatively simple and symmetrical.

Reminds me of the plastic rings we used to find as prizes in our cereal boxes. Neat!

Here's my part of a trade with the artist, Nightshade-TheArtist on DeviantArt, on an unrelated Discord. It's her character, Karen. Tried to make it look like she just dove in. Had some fun with the environment. Water was just two layers of gradients, the waves was the oil paintbrush tool, bubbles were its own brush tool. Interesting to experiment with. Also have this version without the light blue filter layer.

Admittedly it looks like she is drowning rather than she just dove in but you don't have to pay attention to anything I say.

Re: Art Thread
no, i see the same thing.
you might want to rotate her about 90* so her tail and legs are in line with the arc her bubble trail is making making, and tilt her head further back so it looks like she's actually looking in the direction she's moving. if she's doing any kind of stroke with her arms her fingers would be together, not apart. also non-gilled air breathing species don't usually open their mouths much while swimming, due to holding their breath, that might be contributing to the 'drowned weasel' look.

Re: Art Thread
Hm. Alright, I still have the separated layers, let's see if I can make those changes. Also, since she's an otter, should have considered adding webbing to her hands. Thanks.

Re: Art Thread
If you are trying to make it look like she just dove in, maybe have her downwards instead of looking up because that also would make a lot more sense. I guess it is her expression and the fact that she is trying to swim upwards that makes it look to me at least that she is drowning.

Those look really nice and I love how they came out and the changes that you made! It actually does look like she is swimming instead of drowning! Awesome!
Re: Art Thread
And here is Nightshade-TheArtists' part of the art trade. She drew up Ermina.
Have to say, really like her interpretation.

Got this stunning art as a late anniversary present for Serence. It was done by an artist who lives in the same state as me.

That picture looks really wonderful! I also like how the two of you in it almost resemble each other except for coloration.
