David with Wooden Foxpaw Training Set - default

Swiftfoot Remnant with Swiftfoot Heirloom - The appearance is a blend of his biological mother and father, while the blade and buckler were further tempered by Zorren.

Bounty Hunter with Replica Soldier Set - David’s only set post-banishment was quickly weathered beyond use. He opted to scrounge up some money for this set. It was very cheaply made, and needed a lot of maintenance.

Family Legacy with Foxpaw Guard Set - When reinstated in the clan, David earned a place in the guard, gaining this set. This appearance is modeled after his adoptive father, Armon.

Espionage with Assassin’s Blade - After managing to become known for some of the jobs he was able to accomplish without bloodshed, someone viewed him as a potential threat to their criminal dealings, thus hiring an assassin from the famed Death Mark. Through either sheer luck or quick-thinking, David was able to kill the assassin. This was the first time he took a life.

Generous Lagomorph with Hardlight Set - A very conspicuous appearance allegedly modeled after a rabbit from a far-off land. The weapons were loaned to him by a mysterious hare who wanted him to do a job for her. The only objective was to make it out alive.

Chosen Champion with Horns of the Al-Mi’raj - A gift from a goddess that David had never heard of before. He was instructed to use this to deal with a grave threat coming in the near future.

Neat drawing of Grape, Rydr. Whatever it is, she ain't having any of it.
Very nice drawings by Hukley. Serence can throw ice shurikens!
Great gifs as always D-Rock. I like the idea of Marble having different marbles for different occasions (hopefully she never loses them  ). And David must have outstanding potential to have caught the interest of Mirage. A soul who has known the loss of two families (albeit in different ways).
Cool 3D flute, Oded. Has a soft texture to it.

One more piece of concept/storyboard art... Should I cut my losses and end this story- have it go the way of Wrecked and The Detour? I've entertained the idea. If so, here's the end.

Image
Jacque gradually awoke in a field of bright pink flowers. There was nothing but pink as far as he could see to his left and right. On the horizon ahead of him, the sun was setting over a large hill, casting a golden glow across the sky. A soft chorus of birds beckoned from beyond the hill.

Jacque meandered through the tranquil scenery. His head ached and his limbs wobbled like jelly. It was difficult for him to collect his thoughts. A gentle breeze wafted an overwhelmingly sweet aroma that only further clouded his senses.

Before Jacque realized it, he had crested the hill. Down the other side was a valley with a small concentration of tribal huts along a gentle pristine stream. A dying gust of wind filled the air with a shower of pink pedals. The sun’s golden rays bathed everything with a tender motherly warmth. Jacque could not help but pause to marvel at the sight. He felt a brief sense of serenity.

As Jacque took a step forward, he sensed someone behind him. He turned around and saw Mulder standing ten feet away with his back turned. Jacque tensed up in anticipation of a fight. However, Mulder remained eerily silent and transfixed for what seemed like an eternity.

Jacque: “Mulder?! What is this? What’s going on?”

Mulder: “…It was a lie… It’s all a lie…”

A loud explosion rang back from the valley. Jacque quickly turned around to find that everything was charred black. The sun had turned blood-red, looming ominously above the horizon. Fiery meteors bombarded the decimated landscape. Symbols resembling 0’s and 1’s were engraved on each meteor. Jacque looked up and saw a massive black figure floating high above the clouds. The meteors appeared to be raining down from fiery cuts in the figure’s arms....

A far larger astronomical body then appeared from out of nowhere and struck the valley with resounding force. The ensuing explosion instantly expanded throughout the multiverse, engulfing everything in existence. Jacque shed one last tear, thinking about Fanta before disintegrating in the blast.

Interesting end. None can withstand the force that is the Delete button.

At least it’s not the ending to Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I don’t care that they creatively used the fact that they ran out of money to make one last joke, I still didn’t like it.

That's kind of a depressing end. Not really a fan. I mean, I'm all for depressing endings to stories if they have a point to them. This makes the whole thing feel like a shaggy dog story. A pointless waste of our time.

Asked for a prompt on Discord, and someone suggested Mirage doing one of those superhero landings. Despite finding a lot of references, it’s a dynamic pose that I’ve not had any practice in. It’s why everyone looks stiff as a board, normally. Still, I can at least say I tried. Not too bad for the first time.
