That's funny, I asked myself the same question too.
For example, I had the problem of drawing a husky like a husky and not like a wolf.
NHWestoN wrote: Sat Mar 13, 2021 4:03 pm All good, all`round. Art's hard but you guys are good and it shows. Hey, Rick's art evolved, too.
Yeah, having found Housepets relatively recently it was interesting to see how the style of the main characters was tweaked over time.

Those drawings are excellent Tinnier, you have really nailed your cartoony style, the Husky tail looks spot on to me as well, clever use of shading to give it a 3 dimensional feel without overdoing it. Interesting you had a pet a husky (I've never had a pet dog, only a Hamster), what are they like character wise? ( I appreciate every dog is different but just interested, we have a Husky that lives local to us, she's really laid back, never heard her bark once and just lounges by the window most days people watching). Yes, the fox tail is key to Vulpinity :-)

I agree on the Ren and Stimpy Vibe Amazee,

Managed to get something resembling a Fox sketched out last evening when I had some free time, I'll post on here when I've neatened it up a little.

Here you go, quite pleased with how it came out, using some new software and this is the very first thing I've drawn in it, any comments welcome as always, think there are areas that could be improved.

An artist I follow, fever_artistry on Twitter, recently mentioned that her OC, Waverly, would have her birthday today. Made this on a whim.

I'd forgotten about that animation, quite dark for kids as I recall, quite realistic animal drawing for a cartoon if I remember correctly.

Well, go green all the way on Saint Patrick's Day! Nice drawing D-Rock.

This is a sorta experimental drawing of my main OC "Tracker". I was able to make the outlines of this picture much smoother compared to my previous artwork by using Inkscape. Honestly, I was surprised by how well it turned out.

Well, I can't take too much credit for that. Inkscape automates most of it. I just use a monochrome bitmap scan of my drawing,

and Inkscape traces the outlines on the image and converts it into a vector SVG (basically a digital connect-the-dots).

@Rydr Warklub: Indeed, what on earth did Duke do? ...Or better yet, what does he plan to do next with those explosives? Blow up the moon so that it rains cheese?

@Tinnier: Really cool style! The teeth on the fox have a neat style to them.

@Ddeer: Great work as always! The pose of the fox while it's mid-bound is expertly done.

@D-Rock: Awesome drawings! The little straw and sippy cup (or juice box) for little Ollie is adorable. But I cannot imagine a world where inebriation is impossible.

@96N64player : Tracker looks like a cool dog! Nice work on the line art and pose.

Really nice work to everyone else! Sorry for being away, but life.

Here's something I did featuring my Jackalope OC, Jacque. To make a long story short, he has to deal with an old flame who used to enjoy teasing him. Her name is Fanta and she is a shapeshifting demoness. For a more comprehensive summary, look here https://www.deviantart.com/nleonardo87/ ... 1616130108

It’s a juice box. And I like to imagine that some of them actually regret not being able to get drunk sometimes.

Mirage: *gives Ermina incredibly frustrating news*
Ermina: “...if you’ll excuse me, I need to drink my frustrations away.”
Mirage: “Wait, I thought we couldn’t get drunk?”
Ermina: “I’M ABOUT TO TRY!!

And Jacque had quite the old flame. Wonder if things could have worked out?

Opened up for OC + Fursona requests on Discord, so here’s Hagus’ request.

Will Hagus be able to outdraw the Mysterious Stranger?

Probably not, but I’m sure Macabre will let Hagus take a win.

Last Discord request. Krytus and Rocky working on enchanted artifacts. Krytus himself gave me the idea of Rocky being a weapon smith, due to me designing a lot of weapons over the years. He also recently told me that his character is something called a planes-walker, meaning he can traverse worlds and has access to a few different types of magic.
