Cute gift there Hlaoroo. Oh no, your hat!
Nice rendition of Jolty. Such a modest shy pose.

Re: Art Thread
Go take back your hat, Furr! Cool draw you got. Very nice work again, D-Rock and Nicholas.

I love how your character came out Rocky! That is perfect!
Re: Art Thread
Jolty isn't my character. He's Dusk's. But he goes by honkgoth.mp3 on Discord.

Either way, I do like the style that you put him in! I guess it is your style but still it looks good.

Here's a little doodle I drew on a Christmas card. It's supposed to be a red-tailed hawk.

Re: Art Thread
That really does look very nice! You are wasted on trying to become a meteorologist when you would probably be a much more impressive artist. XD
Re: Art Thread
Another ask.
This was finished for a while, but adequate internet access wasn't a thing for a while. Hoping it'll be fixed in a couple days. For now, simplified Halphas' look a bit; made his ears more normal, and after speaking with Krytus about it, removed his back wings.
Didn't quite get it how I wanted to look, but I hope this gets the idea across. Actually looked up a reference for the hand.

Re: Art Thread
So apparently feather fingers are a thing. That is very good to know.
Re: Art Thread
We saw a bit of that with Trinket, so took it further.

Re: Art Thread
That was a long time ago so I don't remember and I'm too much of a lazy slob to go back and search for the comic.
Re: Art Thread
Boy, I missed a lot of good stuff while I was minimal on-line!

My first attempt at using my new tablet. Just a simple "Bob Ross" deal.

Re: Art Thread
Seemed to have come out well - is that what you were going for, D?
Re: Art Thread
Indeed. This was mainly to get a feel for the tablet. The work surface is articulated to the computer screen, and the tablet work surface is significantly smaller than the screen. I saw why Buster suggested getting one with a matching size a few years ago, but choices were limited.
Glad you like it, though.

I'm sure that Bob Ross would be really proud of you for this. It really does look like a digital version of one of his paintings!

Those are some happy looking trees in the foreground. Good job D-Rock.
Here's a (WIP?) sketch of a cross-over: Juno from Beastars and Bergamo from DBS.

Re: Art Thread
Heh, they look kinda cute like that, good job, man! I'm definitely going to try to make time for Beastars when it begins airing in the West.

Those have really came out very nicely! Lovely job Nick!
Re: Art Thread
Excellent depiction there, bat.
Re: Art Thread
Made this little guy. They're a Natukat, the little cat-plant hybrids that Chaoko often used as avatars. This particular one is based on the Chinese Lantern plant.

Re: Art Thread
It came out incredibly awesome Rocky! For some reason though, I thought that the character you made was a strawberry Natukat.
Re: Art Thread
I actually did make a strawberry one, as well as a blueberry one quite some time ago. They came out like some sort of hybrid of Chaoko's and Rick's styles, i.e., not good.
Re: Art Thread
Looks quite charming to me!

Re: Art Thread
Natukats are awesome! I like the semi-transparent petals on the tail.
Against my better judgement, I quickly colored my previous drawing of Juno and Bergamo.

Re: Art Thread
They look great! As long as universes are crossing, why not get to know a fellow wolf better?
Did another ask.
I made things up as I went.

Both of you did really nice jobs on the artwork that you posted and they are definitely awesome! Hope to see more from the both of you Nick and Rocky!
Re: Art Thread
Those are terrific, now that you mention it, Amazz.

Re: Art Thread
Thanks. I kind of anticipated some backlash for pairing these two. They may not be quite right for one another.D-Rock wrote:They look great! As long as universes are crossing, why not get to know a fellow wolf better?
That's kind of poetic. The mortal world helps shape the gods, and the gods in turn help shape and guide the mortals.
Re: Art Thread
When it comes to fan stuff, people just need to chill. No need for "backlash" over something fun.
And how is it I don't realize clever implications of my own work until someone else points it out? I was just trying to tie in what Kitsune said about how they look.
Though I'll admit, if I had felt like drawing more and dragging this out further, I would have made another panel where Behemoth mentioned that as one of the original angels, his starting form was as described in Biblical texts.
Basically horrifying.

Re: Art Thread
The way I just went along with it was that since they are basically immortal in live in the afterlife where anything can happen, any forms can happen even if the parents are two separate species. Halphas has a wolf son, humanoid daughter and an otter grandson and he's a giant turkey. LOL
Re: Art Thread
Halphas is a dove, and Macabre is a coyote.
Also, in the vein of Pokémon, made a "shiny" variant of Rocky.

You get what I mean even if I butcher the species like that.
Also really nice job on drawing yourself! I like shiny you a whole lot and its wonderful!

Agreed!
Re: Art Thread
Referenced one of Chaoko's initial sketches to get Celestial Mirage this time. Her hair is still weird to figure out.

Maybe just had a shower? Great rendering, by the way!
Re: Art Thread
Thanks! I like this design, but I often find myself intimidated by certain details, like the horns and hair.
