I've been reading Housepets! for about 4 years but really have never gone onto the forums before - and I thought I might make one now because I wanted to start translating! I guess you could say it's my pastime.
Read the translated Thai version of Housepets! below!
Awesome new language FTW|
Yes, your efforts are truly appreciated, and an explanation of the puns as you rework them would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Being the forum's resident Thailander I must say, this thread is quite A++.
Really nice, when I first found out about the "Translation" section I wondered if there would ever be a Thai translation(I'm not actually that good with my Thai ), and it is looking pretty good!

I guess there are more Thai readers than I thought
I did some searching around and I saw someone had already translated all the way to the farm arc, but he never really posted it so - I just do my own thing
How. Do. You. Learn. Thai? Ever. I've just spent the past hour trying to get some pronunciation down, and hoo boy! Y'all got an interesting writing system there.
Thanks for bringing this to the forums. I'll enjoy my studies on this one

I can't say... I'm a native so it just comes naturally. But glad you're interested!
Also, I think Thai is much easier than English. It looks hard but it has more concrete spelling/grammar rules!

He's right you know, it's very superior to English's "Cut'n'Paste" style,
Yeah, I LOVE what little I've seen of the grammar, but the vowel system is just a lot to take in (on top of the large number of new characters I've got to learn Not even mentioning that a lot of them are almost exactly the same except there's an extra bump here or the loop goes the other way @_@ ) and there's a lot to remember for the consonant system. Then you add the diphthongs and the consonant clusters (where sometimes the ร is silent), and I'm going, "Nope... Nope... I need to sit down a moment... ... except I'm already seated..."

Keep up the great work, but don't overdue yourself ;D
I wouldn't do that if I were you... my Thai isn't A+ either y'know. (I got a B for Thai i'm not qualified for this )
Half of it doesn't really make sense and I'm sorry. The jokes made here are kinda hard to translate.
Also does anyone know how to hide the pictures under a spoiler or something? Like when I click it and it expands. I feel like I'm cluttering up the page.

Note that I thought it would be better to keep the Australian text - partly because I don't know any Thai accents and also it makes it sound more foreign to Peanut/Grape.
One-off 3: ลิงๆ
One-off 4: คิดลึก
Trying to take feedback from friends - quality of translation should be a bit better than previous.

Crap. I know someone would do this eventually if I don't stop procrastinating already. Anyone know what to do all the translation I've done so far now in this situation?
Anyway, great job doing all these translations and actually putting them onto the strips. You just motivated me to start doing my own works now.
Oh, and, can you link to the other translation you've seen where it was translated up to the farm arc? Thank you!

You can still post them here and help save me a lot of work! (Although, I'm translating the first Christmas arc right now)
And then from there, we can work out what to do - this should be a collaborative effort!
Also, what do you mean by 'other translation?' If you mean the other languages, you can look on this forum - but I translate as I go along.

I must admit today's comic's translations aren't any good at all.
Does anyone still have Kyderra's method for creating blank comics? It would be appreciated
