Another weird thing onto the family tree... His father is supposedly an engine :geek: (Thomas the tank engine  )

Or other interpretation would be that the engine had a choice and decided to MURDER HIS FATHER! :o

I would like to go to that meeting of wild animals from different countries from the world :)

Yeah, in Heaven money isn't even a thing :P

So... Bad Translator has stopped working again. I'm only getting empty results. :-(
Is there anybody with programming skills to write a little tool that pushes texts into google, bing, or yandex to create bad translations without the need to use the webpage?
It would be lovely to have such a tool.

Good News: the official page is back again!
Bad News: it requires to register an account :/

Also:

HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER!

Yeah, someone made another bad translator :P

And...

ANOTHER CHALLENGER APPEARS!

Well its more to find equilibrium, but can work as a bad translator :)

The registration isn't the problem I did that already. But the downsides of that new thing are:
- allows only a few translations per day
- allows only 80 characters (sometimes I've reached the 250 character limit of the old one already)
- allows only 10 iterations
- also produces empty results... :(
tsMKG wrote:Also:

Oh, nice. I have to find out how that ones works and what it does. It doesn't look like it uses a translation service. And I always get the same result. It somehow looks like somebody put in a lot of words and possible translations.
On that page you can create your own translator... I'll have a look at that.

tsMKG wrote:And...

http://translationparty.comWell its more to find equilibrium, but can work as a bad translator :)
I have seen that already. It does translate badly but unfortunately it mostly shortens the sentences into two or three word things and honestly that isn't very funny.

The one in the middle might work, but the downside is that there's no randomness in it and it always produces the same result. If I got something inappropriate earlier I simply rerun the bad translator and got something different. Can't do that with this one, but it might work. I'll have to dig into it.

Unusuallynamedperson wrote:I could technically program one that stays on your home PC Render
That would be perfect! A little program that asks a translation website to translate stuff.

It should do the following:
- send translation requests from English into language 1 and receives the translation
- resend the received translation to translate it back into English
- repeat the same for the following languages till all languages are passed
- show the translations either on screen or save it into a text file automatically (including all the steps in between would be great)
- randomized language order
- nice to have: automatic stop or restart with a new randomizing if the received translation is empty or only . or -

You have a look on how the old bad translator looked like here http://web.archive.org/web/201511091455 ... translator.

Do you think you can do that?

not exactly, I am one guy Render not a team of guys. What mine would be like is more of a word assortment.

1.)plugin text via self without automation
2.)run command
3.)wait
4.)retrieve file and host

It probably won't be anything like what you are using now. And I know I said I would but I have been feeling really down as of today so maybe later okay? I'm sorry it's just a bad time.

Yeah, correct! The bad translations!

tsMKG wrote:They stopped offering free translation APIs unfortunately
Yeah... But I always used the Yandex translations and those are still free. Well, within limits and I think the open web based service is pretty easily over that limit.

Nonetheless I'm back in the business of making bad translations, thanks to my own Yandex translation key and the nice little program GeckoZY wrote. Thanks very much, my friend!

Now I'm finally able to present to you the last comic of the Puppies-Arc
