At least King is sensible and can admit that he's crazy.

Funny thing is King's explanation here makes just about as much sense as the original.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

There are two things I love on that translation. a) How Peanut replies on what King said in panel 1 and b) how King admits that he's crazy and can't explain it.

Freddy was trying to tell Simon to use his computer to watch shows downloaded on his flash drive. I guess he doesn't have Netflix.

Re: Bad Translation +35 later...
The last panel of the latest Housepets! strip is just too perfect. Is it really badly translated?
Yeah, told with keywords: "Wait, you know... flash drive... mouse...". Shot at the TV is always a good day, because of the garbage they show.Douglas Collier wrote:Freddy was trying to tell Simon to use his computer to watch shows downloaded on his flash drive. I guess he doesn't have Netflix.

Oh no! Peanut is blind! I would make a joke about him not being a seeing-eye dog, but that would be a groaner.

No, Peanut, don't kill King!
This strip shall go down in history as The George Krampus War. General George Rudolph, against the better judgement of his Secretary of Defense, Blitzen, and ignoring the potential expenditures involved, decided to go to war with the Krampus anyway.

That's a novel idea Peanut. Tell King not to be afraid of death or you'll kill him.

HAHAHAHA! This one's pretty funny.
Everything is fine - he says as he's tearing down the backdrop and is about to get crushed under it.
And the fake interview is a moose - as we all know.

Well, everything they've been doing has been made up - I guess they reached the end, ran out of ideas, and decided to end the play dramatically. Peanut gives a good explanation of why they imaginate - it's fun!

The Grinch wants to be killed with a knife for the cake? And then, George becomes the great father of three... sons? After all that, the wolves gone nut! Yeah, interesting how was this Christmas.

Why does it have to be three sons? It could be a combination or three daughters.

No, he's saying that Thursdays could be worse - he has a friend on that day. Either that or a friend could be worse on Thursday.
