Shanks followed Blood with his eyes, wondering what his problem was. There are dogs who would try to break my jaw for joking like that! And besides, anyone who takes a joke as an offense is an idiot...
Shanks then walked over to Carlito. So, I'll be getting home now. Wanna come with me, or are you going to your own home now?

Cole stopped midway. He didn't want to annoy Matt, and have him mad.
He flopped back on the couch, and Matt stared at him, and shook his head
You are so weird!
Cole chuckled at him and turned away.
Matt went back to the game.
Cole started texting Keri to pass time. They talked about random stuff, like the latest music, and how they were doing.

My glimpse shifting from one dog to another, I responded to Shanks in an anticipated manner -- by which had not sufficed with a subtle nod.
"Yeah, I think I have to get going," I mewed with a frown, very much aware of the time.
"...It was a lot of fun, don't get me wrong! I just kinda lost track of time, and my...dad...needs me home before it'd get dark," I bashfully mentioned to Shanks, hoping he didn't get the wrong idea. Also, I could've sworn that I bit my lip when I referred to him in that manner.
"Anyways, uh...I guess I'll see you guys around?"

Eliot said after adding some milk to his "liquid cake", "Well, I liked it without the milk addi-" Dimitri got interrupted by some car lights coming from outside "About time!" the dog said. "Nice, I wonder how everything went at their first day!" Eliot left the glass of chocolate lies thingie thing on the kitchen counter. The door opened and one of the individuals said "{Hello, we are ho... uh, who are these dogs?}", Eliot and Dimitri looked at each other "I dunno" Eliot shrugged "Maybe Dimitri knows" Eliot pointed at his dog, "Dude, what the heck! Uhh... I guess I have to explain" Eliot and Dimitri walked to the kitchen and the couple followed.

Shanks shook paws with the cat, turned around and walked home, without any hurry (He stopped a couple of times to inspect stuff that's boring for others, but interesting for him, like some bugs). When he arrived home, Eddie was already sleeping on the couch. Shanks didn't want to wake him up, so he just walked upstairs, and laid down on his own bed.

Correcting myself before saying anymore of that, I watched Shanks tend to his own business until my glimpse presumed onward seconds later. I walked hazily by the streets to make my way home. As mentioned prior, presumably before I became so inebriated by a single lonely can of orange soda, Shanks and Eddie's home isn't really that far from mine. A ten minute hike, at the least.
In all honesty, I hope I didn't disconcert the two -- meeting each other and conversation-wise, you know. I must've sounded like an idiot to them...

A light mist up in the hilly areas, while getting thicker an denser in the low laying areas an along the river, cutting visibility down to just a few feet.

Dimitri murmured, "Well, the game just started! there is also 3 modes you guys can play: Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies" he explained, "Try to beat campaign on veteran, if. you. dare." “What a freaking day...” Blood muttered to himself as he finally arrived back at his fifth-wheel. Despite everything on his mind, simply setting foot back in his temporary home made him feel thoroughly content. He locked the door behind him and flicked on the lights, then unclipped his collar and tossed it on the countertop along with his keys.

with at least a month to sit through, waiting on his owner to get back...he actually was in a sense ‘lucky’ that he was left with just about everything he needed to last that long, on top of not having to worry about getting picked up by the pound thanks to Rav and his owner. Everything seemed like it just might turn out alright...

Blood turned on the play station under the monitor, wanting to play some Silent Hill before going to bed...

Rav gets up.. YYYAaawwwwnnnnnn!!! an crawls out of his kennel, an stumbles into the bathroom..

Your up quite early today, get a date or something?Sara asks.
Errf.. No none that i know of.he mutters from the bathroom.
He then trots out into the kitchen, an rubs his eyes, an looks again..
Look at all the smoke!! the Valley is on fire!!!he barks in panic,
Before dashing off outside into the chilly morning air...
Sara laughs an laughs an laughs at the dog..
Rav sniffs at the strange smoke.. Erf.. what da 'ell..
He comes back into the house, his head tilted off to the side quite confused.
It looks like smoke but... but doesn't smell like it at all..He says all panicky..
Sara continues to laugh wiping her eyes..
It's just fog, Rav. water vapor, kinda like having the clouds in the sky close to the ground. it's because of all that rain we had the other day, an the ground being so warm, when this cold front moved in. It condensed the water vapor into fog.
You would have seen this before, if you ever get up before it's noon, like you usually do.
She chides him.
But but.. i can't see any farther than 10 or 20 feet at best!
Don't worry, it will burn off as the sun comes up more.
Rav looks wild eyed.. IT'S GOING TO CATCH FIRE!!

Rav some days you can be just so... cluelessshe responds, after ruling out calling him. dumb, stupid, or unintelligent.
It's going to disperse like steam, as the day warms up.
Oh..Rav replied sheepishly, Baaaa.
I need to get going, it's going to take forever to get to work in this.
Sara takes ahold of his muzzle.
If you go out. Stay away from the roads, until it lifts. No one is going to be able to see a pet trying to cross the street in this right now. got it!??
Rav shakes his head yes as best he can with his muzzle held..
Good, Oh we should be able to take Blood to see his owner in the hospital tomorrow. An locate some leashes, i don't know if that hospital is as pet friendly as the one here is.She adds as an after thought.
Ok, there still on the hook on the stairway wall to the basement... along with the muzzle.
I don't think we will be needing that, as long as you stay being a good boy.. right?

Ok then take care..

Rav gets busy making breakfast.
Wrapping bacon around milkbones an baking them.
Scrambling up eggs an ham together an put's in, in a seal-able bowl.
Put the bacon treats in another. an gets a can of petfood, an puts them all into a bag.
Rav checks that everything got turned off, an then sets off across the field to Bloods trailer, leaving all the dirty dishes where they lay.

Gah! it's like walking through cotton candy!
Rav quips, as he rounds the barn, an sets off across the orchard to the trailer..
narrowly missing trees an roots that suddenly appear out of the fog.

Rav knocks at the door of the trailer..
Honey i'm back! did you miss me??he calls up at the door.

Alex stretched and looked at the clock next to his bed.
Aw crud dad's already at work, that's what I get for staying out late I guess.

He walked downstairs and made himself a bagel
I might as well get going, wonder if Dmitri and Milk will want to hang out again?
he blushed a bit at the memory of Milk flirting with him

Alex walked onto his porch and hesitated for a moment before heading towards the park.

Cole woke up to his alarm blaring. He hit the snooze button and got up. He was kinda still tired. He wasn't a morning person. He went to his personal bathroom, got a towel and washrag, and stepped in the shower

Matt woke up and yawned. He looked for his collar, but couldn't find it.
Wonder where I left it, cause I need that thing to be able to leave this house.
He sighed

Cole stepped out ofthe shower feeling refreshed
Ah, a shower can make a day feel wonderful.
He took his towel and dried off, and wrapped it around himself. He then entered his room and went to his drawer and got out his collar, and a pair of red goggles. He then heard a knock at his door.
Coming!
He went to the door with his towel still on. He opened the door and looked down to see Matt there
What is it kid?
Have you seen my collar? I can't find it.
Cole thought for a moment
Yeah, I think I have it, wait a sec okay?
Matt shhk his head, and cole closed the door. He went over to where his alarm was, and got Matt's collar. He then went back to the door, opened it, and gave Matt the collar.

Matt hugged Cole and went to the bathroom to get ready. Cole then closed the door. He then put his own collar on, and the goggles over the collar.

Matt went inside the bathroom. He put the collar on, and then looked at himself in the mirror.
Maybe I could add something to stand out a bit more.
He tried to think of something, and then had it. He went to his room, and searched for something and found it. He pulled a blue scarf with little dog paw prints on it, and tied it over his collar.
That should do. Now, I need some breakfeast.
He went downstairs, and to the kitchen. He walked in and saw Cole already eating with a bowl next to him with food in it.
He walked over to Cole and sat next to him.
Cole then said
Dad already left, and so are we.
Where are w going?
He asked at he had eaten halfway through his bowl.
Yesterday didn't go as planned, but we did make friends, so let's see if we can make any more today.
Cole had finished and set the bowl in the sink. Matt had finished two minutes later, and set the bowl in the same place as Cole.
Okay, where to?
Well, let's just go around the neighborhood, and this time you won't wander off right?
Matt shook his head.
I won't, promise!
Cole decided this time, that he would watch Matt more carefully

Blood awoke from his restful night’s sleep to a pounding on the trailer’s door, followed by a muffled voice. “Mmmph, Rav?” He muttered as he crawled off the bed, stretched out and yawned. Even though all the window shades were closed, it still seemed darker than it should be. The clock on the wall read 7:05AM, so it had to be the weather or something.

Blood unlocked the door and greeted Rav with a groggy expression. “Uff, morning Rav…what’s...up?” After realizing the thick mist around them, it instantly reminded him of the game he was playing before bed the other night (which was probably not the brightest idea). “Umm, want to come in? It looks like Silent hill out here...” Blood stepped aside for him to walk in.

“Wow...thanks Rav. But you really didn’t have to bring me breakfast, I mean, I’ve got lots to eat here already. Are you coming in?” Despite the other day, Blood could hardly even recall the last time he directly invited another dog into the fifth-wheel while away from home. It was a pretty big sign of his trust.

Dimitri whined "I know, I know..." Eliot said, directing himself to the kitchen.

(No offence about the milk... it's kinda true, though...)

OOooh we could sneak out in this fog an really get those ducks good! an no one would know it was us!!

He finishes setting out the morning meal, an smell of bacon waffs into the air as he opens the lid to the bone apps.

Baked, bacon wrapped oatmeal milkbones. Green eggs an spam! an Venison blue buffalo in the can.

A seemingly normal foggy morning for two dogs having breakfast, but this is no ordinary fog, an this is now no ordinary time an place. at the sign post up ahead, they have just entered the Twilight Zone...
As if just on Q, a pair of yellow lights/eyes? comes up the gravel road, shining on the trailer.. then eerily disappear back into the creepy fog.
Rav looks over out the window, then back wide eyed to Blood..
Errr. that was different.. kinda creepy infact..
