So at exactly what point will we do the time skip, and how much time will be skipped over?

a small querry with the time warp, if it's only a few days it'll be ok, but a week and onward, what will the characters have done? I imagine they are just doing scarse to nothing, but I just want to know if Awesome is gonna have to apologize to close to eavryone about that knife or if he could have just have said it in this time switch.

Other then that, anytime is good for me and I haven't a clue how much time eavryone is thinking of skipping...

Ahem! Allow me to share my expertise in time skipping!

Time skips are used to create a void of time in which different characters recover and rest. For the most part, they relax, hang out with each other, or tie up loose ends and such, based on what had happened in the RP. The things that they do during this skip are one of the only things you can script with one another, I'd say, since you wouldn't want to have conflicting time skip activities.

Time skips should usually be about a week or two...but it honestly depends on how much time you'd think would be good to pass. For example, three days isn't going to be enough time for Vanilla to even begin to cool off, and you know it! Give her two weeks, and maybe she might acknowledge the existence of Zack and Zappa to the point where she can toss a condescending insult. The point is: how much time do you think is needed before things blow over? Also keep in mind the changing of seasons and such.

More or less, the time skip's goal is to allow the story to advance without playing through it. The amount of time, and what the pets do during that time, is entirely up to the players.

 Aren't you being a little optimistic there? ;)

As the creator of Vanilla, I'd say it'd take at least two weeks before she ceased wanting to move away and not feeling safe in her own house (much less outside of it), assuming nothing further happened to her in the meantime (possibly longer). But I don't know if she'll ever want to go anywhere near Zappa or Zack again, even to deliver the most cutting insult ever. At most, maybe by proxy, but she's not the type to do that--unless maybe either of them made the first move, but even that's iffy....

So, we are going to need a two week time shift? That's fine by me, but it'll be nice if Awesome has already apologized to eavryone for the knife.

I'm gonna need to think a little on what he'll think of the other pets given two weeks...maybe it'll be best if for those two weeks Awesome didn't go outside and made the cellar a little bit nicer. My description at the moment is only a shelf, a bed and a small telephone on the wall...so it seems fitting.

Yeah, Awesome apologized to all the other pets for his actions, and stayed indoors for the two weeks...that works for me.

Oh, yeah, that's what I forgot to mention! When the time skip does happen, your first post IC after the skip should explain what your characters did during that time, then move into what they're going to do that day. That's how we've done it, and it's worked so far.

Well, once Athlon gets online, Mrs. Rozen can treat his injuries and we can time skip. I like the idea of two weeks.

I'm confused....

Max could have gone on a few dates with Winter, and spent a lot of time helping at the Veterinarian Clinic his mom works at.
Liz could have spent a lot of time at Jackson's house, and sleeping over there a few times. Over the weekend she would have gone camping with her dad.

I actually suggest Honey that attends sessions as well,
It is often comforting for troubled kids to have their siblings attend their on sessions, it helps them feel less ashamed about their need for psychological help.

Im a bit late to the ball game but here is my character sheet:

Name:Abby

Species:Cat (abyssinian)

Age: 21 years old (6 human years)

Gang:Freelancer (none so far)

-Appearance-
Has strange golden stripes curling around her body that is not normal on Abyssinians. (They glow sometimes too!) Has a collar with a golden key on it.

-Personality-
Charisma is her middle name! (okay not literally) but she is always happy and makes friends all the time. She is also extremely lucky. That golden collar she wears was actually found on the floor by her. Its made of real gold! She brightens anyone's day just by being there.

Other Notes:
Her collar is a key. And everyone knows if there's a key, there's a lock.......

SPECIAL
STR-3
PER-7
END-4
CHA-9
INT-8
AGI-3
LUC-8

Well...We might have some room in Radiant Gardens...We DO have room in Radiant Gardens, right?

Edit: Wait a sec...Why don't you just say her age in animal years for us?

Double edit: Wait a sec...Don't you mean three HUMAN years? And, if you're going for 21 pet years, it would be SIX human years, actually.
