"Carnivores, eesh." Flynn mutters quietly enough that only Lucky can hear. Then he continues louder. "What prey animal hasn't had that dream? And speaking of canines, has anyone seen Koa? He's disappeared."

Kandi look startled at the appearance of the fox in the kennels of the clinic.
How did you get in here? Even when invited, everyone else has been kept out of here. An don't do what?

"Is this really *huff* the right time to be worry about how--*huff*-I get here ? And well , didn't someone told you to take the cat's claws away? "

Senka was opened her mouth and was about to say something when the fox from yesterday burst into the room and began to speak.
"Do wha- wait... How'd you know?". The cougar asked.

"w-well...*huff*..I-erm..."

Kandi tilts her head in almost canine fashion.
Do you need to be put on oxygen?

" no no I'm fine , just ran to *huff* fast to get here right after breakfast so---argh--I need to sit down for a bit"

Senka was opened her mouth and was about to say something when the fox from yesterday burst into the room and began to speak.
"Do wha- wait... How'd you know?". The cougar asked.

Kandi blinks at the couger...!
That is a very good question!
Kandi turns her attention back to the fox.
Just how DO you know what has happened?
We were just told about the issues they were having with the application.
Kandi eyes the fox...
Things are starting to look mighty suspicious, like someone called the courthouse and filed a complaint against are pet application.

despite the fact that she's gotten used to lying to humans to get what she wants (well except for Josh , that guy is impossible to shake off your tail , seriously ) , the look in that human's eyes make her feel.....uncomfortable
"I-well....Then you should be worrying about that cat , instead of asking such needless questions , I'm telling you I'm only here because---" and she stopped , that was a really close call , the fox almost said "because I was worry about her" , but hey , she managed to stop "like I said , it's not important"

and yet , as hard as she tried to be convincing , the fox forgot one thing : the whole time , she's been avoid looking the human and that cat straight in the eyes

Senka gave her a curious look. As of sensing something was off but wasn't sure what it was. She held it for a few seconds before turning back to Kandi.
"So, what do we do now?"

Meanwhile...

"Umm... How strong am I? I guess I'm as strong as...". She paused to think about it.
"Well... Me.". She smiled, wagging her tail. She wasn't sure where the corgi was going with this.
"Why do you ask?"

Looks over at the two rabbits as he easily overhears what's said "Sorry to hear about the nightmares but I take offense to that comment Flynn." He smells the air a moment trying to pick up Koa's scent "Smells like he went inside and err maybe that way," he points to the forest, "He was talking about it a lot too."

"Well, that's lucky." Snow said. "It doesn't look like fixing this one would be easy."

She got up. "Anyway... It must be pretty odd growing up without other pets."

(Starting at around 8 or so Pacific time on Thursday, I'll be gone for a day.)

He chuckled. "Well, all I did was walk around all day, that was it..." He said.

"Oh I just need some strong dogs to help me lift some wood and other heavy objects, once I can get ahold of it. I'm wanting to build something."

Travis slumped on the stairwell that ran upward from the foyer, upsettingly staring upward at the ceiling. Faint, yet booming voices can be heard from above, one frighteningly overlapping the other with ferociousness and assertiveness.

Just the wake-up call I needed, she groaned sarcastically.

Her legal guardians, a dispassionate and stubborn couple, had been arguing for nearly ten minutes. Each of their tantrums ranged from countless petty topics, but one that became paramount to the yell-a-thon consisted of a very irresponsible tenant, and a potential fine from that person's carelessness.

Supposedly, from what she gathered, the irresponsible tenant - which she referred to as just Bob, for her own sake - hadn't obliged to adhere to the landlord's simple expectations, apart from several noise complaints from surrounding neighbors. The bottom-line was that her Dad, the landlord of the property from which they had relocated, had arranged to hire eviction specialists to investigate and resolve the problem as swift as possible, without necessarily evicting the tenant. Her Mom, on the other hand, wanted to kick Bob out without question, and have the estate vacant for a better-suited leaseholder.

Still, what did she care whether or not that house would be rented? She wasn't going to live there anymore. To her, it was more trouble than what it was worth. Travis didn't empathize with her owners on their decision, as well as the consequences.

Fed up, Travis rose up to her paws, and had made her way to the front door. A loud, and tenacious ringing had resonated deep within her skull, and she'd hoped that a quick jog would ease her mild headache. If not, then just a simple walk around the park, or something. To her it didn't matter; she'd take anything as an excuse to simply get away from her persistent owners.

She paused, instinctively glancing over her shoulder to spot a rack perched beside the threshold with plenty of worn-down, fairly ornamented garments, and fluffy coats. None had caught her eye, but instead reached for a neatly-placed, black newsboy cap. This, and her law-enforcing collar was all she needed before heading out, as well as remembering to lock the door behind her as usual.

Trudging through the long, unevenly trimmed grass and past the wooden lattice of her yard, Travis settled to a rhythmic, and mellow pace to her power-walk. Her speed gradually picked up into a calm, slow jog, breezing peacefully down Freedom Drive.

Flynn flashes Ryyn a rueful smile. "Sorry, Ryyn. I didn't mean that. It's just natural instincts to a rabbit to be cautious around carnivores. I suppose you'd think similar things about cats." Realising what he's just said he fumbles another apology. "Oh, err, sorry Mercury, I... um... ah... what I meant was... ah..." He trails off. "I'm going to shut up now. Sorry... Sorry..." He looks at the floor and shuffles his paw, embarrassed.

"I always wondered about that," mused Lucky, "That whole, 'Cats vs. Dogs' thing. I mean really, why?"

"I can try." She didn't have anything planned for today. And she was curious as to what the corgi had in mind.

Rubs his headfur a bit at Flynn's question. "Well er probably best not to say seeing as their is a cat and dog here and either way it's going to sound one sided..."

"I'm wanting to build a treehouse. Although right now I don't have the supplies or the manpower right now. You'll be a really big help."

Mercury mused on the idea, his head tilting up, "Maybe it's because of the difference in what each group tends to do? Like dogs seem to be more athletic and cats are kinda lazy. Mostly we do things because we don't have to get up and run for it." He tapped his chin,

She paused briefly, but then kept walking along. "So... How long have you two known each other?"

Reverend followed her as Eva caught up.

"Oh, I found Rev when I was just a kitten!" Eva said.

Then second, We will see how they registered this fox. perhaps we will get a clue on how to go about registering you. Ah... A Tamed Wildlife tag. hmmm, failed Domestication training? So you didn't make it to pet level? So doesn't that basically make you a zoo animal, legally?

Very similar to the conversation she had yesterday outside the clinic. Claws extended, puffed up fur, widened eyes and the faint scent of fear.

Senka looked over at Kandi.

And at this point Nadia managed to calmed down , the teeth , fur and claws already gone back to normal , thanks somewhat to the cat's innocent to the point of laughable question , but she still keeping her distance with Kandi though
"It's....errrr.....how do I put this , where the humans keep the former ferals they somehow got their hands on , like a pet , but instead of having a human to take care for each of them , those weaklings stay in cages so they can be look at like some kind of show , and in return the humans feed them , a little bit tougher than the actual pets , but meh...."

That is not concern of mine, That is for your owner to decide what would be best for you..

It's a pine marten, poking its inverted head under the eaves of the barn.

Squeaky laugh. Grinning like a fox at Kandi and the two animals.

"That one didn't even see me until I was right behind it. If I was a wild marten he'd be in some trouble, you bet!"

Cinnamon scrambles through the gap, pausing to unhook his virid bag from a nail, and drops to the top of a cage.

Keen to move the topic of conversation in a more amicable direction, Flynn interjects.
"I personally have no idea. Speaking of dogs, where did Koa get to? I hope he hasn't gone into the woods like you said- Dad was pretty clear about what he though of that last night. Can follow his scent, Ryyn? I know dogs have one of the best senses of smell of any animal. If you follow his trail we'll follow you."

grumbles a bit at the question "When you asked the first time I said there was a scent trail leading to the house and I think one leading to the forest, seeing as that was where he kept trying to go to. But to be sure I'll follow it for you." Stepping out of the tent he starts to sniff at the ground slowly following the trail towards the forest

Koa looked back done at the ground and saw a comfy clover patch right next to a tree. "Well I think I'm going to rest on this for awhile. I always feel safe when I'm around trees and other plant life.you can join me if you want."

Kandi looks up as Cinnamon comes falling out of the rafters to land on the kennel cages.

And he tugs on his iridescent emerald collar, making his tags jingle.

"the fox of chaos....tfff---heeheehee , ahahahahahaahaha ! oh that-s , that's a good one , best nickname I've ever got " Nadia laughed , maniacally ,almost like an insane laugh of pure satisfaction "err , sorry , don't mind me", then slightly raise a paw toward the weasel "hey Six , morning !"

After that she turned to the cougar , with a slightly amused expression on her face " Senka ? shadow warrior ? huh.....anyway about that quote on quote training Mrs Sparagmos....."
The fox then explained what the trainings was all about , only what they wanted her to do , and intentionally leave out the.....personal stuff , seeing that those things only make her look bad in the human's eyes , not a good plan , and it's not like it's gonna help the cougar "that was pretty much it if I remember correctly , don't know , kinda forgot , if you need anything more you need to ask the human I'm living with"

[Marine Fox]

Doc tossed and turned on the recovery table mumbling something incoherent and cringing occasionally before he finally sat up quickly, holding onto his chest where the marks were, he was breathing rapidly for a moment before he realized it was just a nightmare. He sighed and rubbed his maw and eyes trying to wake up then after a few yawns he swung his legs off the table and hopped off also readjusting his collar properly before stretching and walking out into the main hallway and hearing a commotion down a way's he followed it, hoping someone here would be able to assist him in finding his bag and alerting his owner that he wasn't still in a cage.

Senka turned to looked at weasel, there was a twinkle of wildness in her eyes, as if instinctively knowing what level he was in the food chain.
"So... he's not breakfast?" She asked, her eyes still on Cinnamon.

Meanwhile...
"Sure!" Zanna answers, waddling over to Koa and sitting down next to him. She takes off her satchel and sits it next to her.
"So how you are doing living with the new person." She asks, remembering something about that from yesterday.

Hopefully Senka will be with us for a long time, she is wanting to come live with us in the clinic compound.

"oh that's right , maybe Six might be better to help with these kind of stuff , anyone is better than me at this actually , well Six apparently having a normal healthy cougar staying with a human is a nightmare for those , what do you do call them , “authorities” , so they want to pull this ca—I mean Senka’s claws off , and it seems like Mrs.Kandi here doesn’t really like the idea , and trying to figure something out , I was just stopping by to make sure Senka doesn’t have to spend the rest of her life….as a handicapped ….by the humans….. ” Nadia suddenly trailed off , with a sad look in her eyes , but the fox soon shook it off
”anyway now that you’re here , help her out if you can would ya , maybe your owners could help too , if they even like the idea that is , I got better places to be..." she said , turn around and walk a few step toward the entrance
"....if things don't work out , run for the woods..." then she stopped and turn around to look at Senka with a grin "...in the mean time , try not to get yourself kill alright cat ? Anyway cya guys "

"They want to what?"

Cinnamon sprawls on the cage and peers over its edge, to look closer at Senka without getting in swiping range.

"Ew, that's totally gross. You ain't got anything wrong with your claws, do you? They're just being idiots? Why don't you stay inna woods, then? So long as you don't eat any pets or kids, what are they gonna do?"

He sits back on his haunches, pulls out his phone.

"Lemme look that up, I don't think they can do nothing but relocate you. I think I got the files here... nah, they're on my laptop."

[Hlaoroo]

Flynn motions the other pets to come along and then follows Ryyn out of the tent and across the lawn.

Lucky followed Flynn and whispered, "Maybe Ryyn has some blood hound in him."

"It's really nice. Its been a long time since I had someone to care for me."

"What about your owners before?"

"Well my current owner is abusive. The people I'm with right now aren't my true owners."
