Roarin wrote:"Ooh cool! So you're like... Good with computers and stuff." The canine concludes simply, her tail wagging from side to side and her feet tapping to the beat of the elevator music.
"And oh yeah, if I need to I can sign one of those." She smiles and looks over at Jemmy. "I get a lot of those non-disclosure papers. Like there was this one person who came in for this thing that turned out to be this other thing that was caused by all their suppressed emotions! Patients! That reminds me, Jemmy, can you relay back the information the other robot gave you about the patient we're about to see?"
Jemmy nodded. "Since you qualified me as your assistant, I am in direct communication with your staff. An Amber-unit is making sure your patient is entertained and transmitting me all data she is gathering. We are dealing with a Dissociative Identity Disorder patient. Right now the identity dominating is Ramona. Very happy, energetic, trusty. She has just communicated that we should be aware of a personality named Bullet, as Bullet could be...troublesome. Oh, and the personality of Reginald thinks he can be more helpful by assisting another medical patient, Elpis Karahalios, dog, born with anophtalmia, waiting for artificial eyes..." Jemmy shook his head. "Admittedly, Ramona is not...very coherent in her divulging information." The elevator door slid open.

Francis gave the priest a smile. "I would have been very disappointed if you had, Father," he said honestly. "You're a cat of integrity I think. Integrity and honour. Sort of what I hope to achieve, sir, if given the chance. As for forgiveness? My feelings towards my Human father far outweigh my need to forgive him and always will."

Roux and smiled at her. "That sounds delicious." He then thought of a realy bad joke and couldn't help himself. "If this is gonna be my first taste of artificial meat, I guess your ward will just have to be the second." He looked up at her with a wide canine grin on his face. "If at all possible, I like mr meat rare." He finally said, turning to the otter.

Miguel sighed, "Well, if you say it isn't so bad, I guess there's no real concerns on my part. Lets get this done, I'm glad to help the business my owner works for, I mean, without it I wouldn't exist." He smiled and set his clothes on a nearby desk, "So where is this 'tub' that you mentioned?"

"Oh! Well, I love to paint! It's one of my favorite things to do ever! Of course, I love to draw as well, but I like painting more. Reggie... doesn't really have any hobbies. Well, he does like to learn a lot so that he can make people comfortable as their butler, but not that much otherwise. Boxer likes to, well, box, and Bullet is a sharpshooter as well as a prankster." Ramona said quickly, not even noticing if Amber was understanding all of this. "We don't let Bullet have any guns, though. Otherwise we would get in trouble a lot more often. And we try to make sure that Boxer's opponents are always willing to fight him. Not that Boxer is misguided, but he usually comes out if we're being attacked by someone or something, and he doesn't really go easy on them if it's a person."

"..Hello there veiwers~! No, no.. Again.. *Ahem* Hello there ev'ryone! It's me.. Nah, not that.." The young man, known as Tomas Finch, sighed, sitting down in a seat. "How do'ya suppose ah start, Cody? This is difficult fer me, ah'm used to havin' names an' scripts for mah shows.. The network is still undecided about it!" He tells the dog, a Husky even, sitting in another chair in front of him. The dog's frozen ice-colored eyes look up. "Perhaps, sir, you would just need to think of a name for yourself? The network would not mind if you did.." Cody said calmly, almost monotone in comparison to the man's thick Southern-American accent. "Ah guess yer right, there.." He says hesitantly, tapping his foot. "Ah guess it don't matter right now.. The crew don't get here 'till tomorrow. But ah still want to be ready fer this! All in all, bein' part of the residency is an added bonus fer sure.."

Cody nodded. "Agreed, being around my own kind, and pets of course, will be a great boon for my social skills." He said in the closest way to a happy tone as he could. "We are getting close too, my sensors have picked up the ship's connection."

"'Bout time.." Was all Tomas said as the plane hailed the ship.

The jet made it's maneuvers and gently made to land in its designated area. Once on the ship the two passengers depart and quickly make their way to the nearest reception.

And as for you, my rogue, you're going to taste your first artificial meat ever." To the otter waiter, she said, "If you have some ready, please make it sure it is Kobe tenderloin. Then I will know our meat factories can create anything."

Hlaoroo wrote:"Erm... Band, message Hajime um, otter waiter anidroid. Tell him 'Makani's insulin is taking effect and he needs to eat within ten minutes and politely requests immediate seating and serving. Please and thank you.' Um, end message and send." Dropping his paw from his mouth, he watches to see if the droid reacts and fumbles in his belt pouch for a glucose pill.
And just then, a *big* paw holding out a cereal bar appeared from behind Makani. "Alimentary problems, eh? I know something about it. Here, have some pal." The white/silvery, spotted paw...of a veritable smiling snow leopard. He was wearing only a couple of short trousers that fit like a glove. The only other gadget he wore was the wristband. "I'm Flash. Pleased to meet you."
A logic conflict began to stir inside Hajime, he could hear his ward's call loud and clear, but he was also stuck with his current patrons, and to leave when they had just arrived would be rude. He was also a little alarmed that another person was suddenly talking and giving Makani a bowl of cereal all of a sudden. So he executed a plan that he had scripted inside his memory banks for these kinds of situation.
"Yes, that can be arranged. Will you be dining in, or at your residence?" he said, still calmly, and gestured with an upwards open hand towards the dining area. He secretly wished they would reply quickly.

"Well, I like to paint a lot of things, but I mostly like to paint happy things, like flowers or maybe a cute couple!" Ramona said while taking a look at her sketchbook. "But I think I gonna try going out of that comfort zone. Now tell me, do you think this forest looks spooky?" She held up the sketchbook, showing the forest she had been working on before Amber had started talking to her.

Miguel shook his head, "No, I think I'll be fine. I'm actually rather interested to see what the image looks like, I've never seen my full build plan or wiring schematics." Enrique set Miguel's jacket over the back of a chair, "As am I, I didn't use regular 3D build schematics. A lot of it was drawn on the computer as I was putting parts together. Kind of like an in progress sketch."

Tomas looked a little confused at the first question. "Wha? Oh, biometrics.." He said simply nodding. He placed his thumb into a small device on the desk, jolting a little as his DNA and print is taken from it. He then takes back his thumb, rubbing it a little before leaning over a second device which scans his retina. "Tomas Finch, 32, Alabama, Tv personality." He says to a little microphone connected to the desk. He then stands back up straight, rubbing his eye. "*sigh* Th' eye part is the most painful.."

Cody bowed polietly to the rabbit in greeting. "Greetings, Elen-89. Thank you for the information." He said, although he already greeted her through the network before leaving the plane.

"An' ah don't need anything at th' moment, miss, thank ya.." Tom added, waving away, now with his band around his wrist. "Lead on, Cody. Let's not keep Mr. Cox waitin'.."

"Certainly, sir. This way please." Cody responded instantly, heading the direction of the said Mr. Cox..

The two regarded the strange man, though Tee did shake his hand, "Thanks for the heads up. While I hope the food will be good, the novelty of normal food is too good. The names Tee by the way, and this is my sis Delilah." she gestured to her sister who waved as she looked over some food.

A lot of Francis' confidence evaporated out of his ears at that and he wondered what Security was thinking, listening in. "I...er... I...um... I'm not too um, hot on that myself," he confided, checking what the time was now on his watch. "I've never, uh, got to talk to many girls, I'm afraid, sir. I...I'd help if I could but..." He almost put a finger under his collar to loosen it but stopped himself. "Su..superstar?"

Makani notices Hajime's glance and knows the droid has received his message. He pops a glucose pill into his mouth and is about to put the packet away when his vision is dominated by a paw he thinks is the size of his head. Taken by surprise, he forgets to answer James.
"Um... Hi." the cat slowly turns to face the owner of the paw and tilts his head up to see the owner's face.
'Um, pancreatic issues, actually. I'm Makani. Are you staff here?" the savvy cat is not inclined to take food from strangers, knowing that he could be drugged and held at ransom due to his and his parents' wealth.

"Certainly. Balcony it is. Your tickets have been transmitted to your bands. You need only scan them on the way in and the ushers will admit you. If you will follow me I shall escort you to the theatre. Will you be requiring much stage space? If so we may need to move some set pieces from tonight's show."

Enrique found a chair to sit in with a good view of the computer screens and pulled out his phone to pass the time, Miguel carefully sat down in the tub and waited to be submerged in... pests, as interesting a word choice as that was. He switched back to his radio as soon as he received a reply from Kelly. "Sitting in a pool waiting to get a 3-dimensional model of my systems made by microscopic nanobots. I'm pretty interested since I've never seen a complete model of my systems. Though, I'm sure if it'll be more interesting or weird knowing how I work."

Amber nodded -in fact, despite that typical childish style the droid associated with the exhuberant personality, the drawing looked definitely good. "Spooky forest is spooky," she said. "Wow, I wouldn't walk in there all alone, day or night."

Volken started prepping his terminal from the adjacent room. He spoke in the throat mike with a professional voice. OK, Miguel. I am programming the Pests. They will act like a collective mind. All you have to--" and it was at that very moment that Asur, grinning like a fox after its best chicken, said, "Oh, forgot to tell you: Jemmy said to a civilian to what purpose we were built for."
Volken, who was in the middle of his task, almost crashed onto the keyboard. "WHAT?!"
The saurian droid shrugged. "Said he found a loophole in the nondisclosure protocol. But of course you trusted him so much, you didn't even check on him. Like you did with me. Cabron." And he stuck out his forked tongue at the man.
Volken whined like a wounded puppy, eyes rolled up to the roof. "Dog help me."

Roux shrugged with a toothy grin as he walked with her to the eating area the otter had pointed at before. "Not sure I could tell ya, I know a few.... but the ones back in Na'lands, let's just say.... I owe them money." he bowed to her and smiled, wagging his tail and pulling out his lucky deck of playing cards. they were faded, and looked maybe hundreds of years old. "You think we could find a couple more people to play a game with us?"

Glad ta finally put ah face ta th' name.." He said in a just as jovial manner, making his way over. "..How ya been? Haven't talked to ya since last season.. Ah know ah've been busy!"

Cody calmly stood by, waiting patiently.

"Oh," Francis admitted, "Three or four. Hundred. Per week. Dad had someone who worked her ay through them, offering advice if needed - and helplines, of course." He smiled lightly at the memories. "I met a fair few at premieres but that was just smiling and waving, y'know? Most of the beautiful ladies I've met? Worked for Dad. If I asked, they had to fear saying 'no'. So I never asked." He chuckled. "Oh, I had my ways of pushing but I was always 'safe', you know? But safe is..." He threw up his handpaws for a moment. "Always training, always learning. But the others didn't dare change things. Several months back I pursuaded my father to let me go to the shops to buy some bread. The local corner shop." He smiled broadly as he looked straight ahead, reliving happy memories. "It was a wonderland to me! Just three aisles and I spent almost an hour in there! I'd never known you could make pies out of Limes! Or that there was something called a 'Beef Wellington' and it had nothing to do with edible footwear! I'd never asked so they'd never told me. I'd never known what to look for online so I'd never seen it. The list of things missed? If I compiled a computer list it'd be into the gigaytes, y'know? So I'm not wanting to miss anymore."

Enrique grinned, "Miguel is pretty good at writing up NDAs if you'd like to have him proofread yours. Though they're usually long, but they tend to cover pretty much every base. Though I'm sure any droid with an internet connection and basic knowledge of writing contracts would be able to do it just as well." He leaned over towards Volken and watched the programming process before he turned his attention back to the monitors to watch the process itself.

He walked slowly in front, leading the pair to their table. He heard a boom of laughter, and saw the leopard making conversation with the black cat. He was still worried about Makani's condition, but he was bound to his duties. [One at a time, Hajime, one at a time], he reasoned inside his core.

"My apologies Makani-sama... and Flash-sama. Would you like me to pick out a quick order of sweet iced tea and South East Asian pastries for your immediate consumption?"

Amber tilted her head. "Interesting question. If you could call it a hobby, whever I am not busy in my line of work, I process movies and ebooks inside of my mind in order to expand my knowledge and compare cultures -a thing, I discovered, many anidroids do. We believe cultural evolution is part of integration with human society. We cannot be defined by 'yes master'."

"You think we could find a couple more people to play a game with us?"
Sandine chuckled. "My dear, those we will *not* lack*." Then she started reading the menu. Hm, look at this: looks like paper, but it's actually e-paper. Roux, if you want to order, just tap on the item you want and the order and it will be sent directly to the kitchen. I guess the waiting staff is instructed to entertain and give the best suggestions rather than just serving. Intriguing. But I think I will stay on that otter's first suggestion. What will you have for hors d'oeuvre? I'd recommend something light, so to fully enjoy the tenderloin with gnocchi."

In the sterile room, the Slush came out the holes in the tub like a gold-and-silver liquid...only, this liquid was rippling, almost ominously, and sounded like tinfoil wrinkling. it slowly covered Miguel's body, as the tiniest bots ever made by Man entered the robotic body through any possible opening, while the rest ran all over Miguel's surface, like water defying gravity.
"See? Nothing to worry about. I know, the Pests sound unpleasant, that's why bios can be upset by this process."

Miguel looked down at himself as the liquid flowed from the ports in the tub and proceeded to engulf him before it reached his face and the world went dark. A small little chat box popped up on the control monitor:
"It tickles on my insides in a sort of interestingly indescribable way. Not all too unpleasant, kind of like being in thick water I guess." - Miguel
Another one appeared in it's place, pushing the first message upwards,
"It's kind of weird feeling them all over me, if crawl is even the right word to use." - Miguel
"Oddly soothing I guess...." - Miguel

Francis considered that slightly. "Me, a celebrity?" He shook his head as he checked his watch. "I'm just me, sir. For the first time ever." He looked to move off. "I fear I must leave you, sir. I've enjoyed the conversation but I have not many hours before I am supposed to meet a beautiful girl who can say 'no' for dinner. I probably need to get ready."

Roux smiles and nodded, looking at the menu. "I think I'd like a steak, rare. Quick and simple." He thought for a second. "But for an appetizer, how about a few potato samosa?" He tapped the paper where they had something to that effect, then looked up to the person with him. "Of course, I just can't wait to be the one to cook. Maybe I can get a bit of flare to this mechanical food, eh?"

An Amber-unit is making sure your patient is entertained and transmitting me all data she is gathering. We are dealing with a Dissociative Identity Disorder patient.
Avery counted off the different personalities as Jemmy listed them. "Hmm..." She gently scratched the back of her head. "Wow! This may be the most personalities I've ever dealt with when it comes to this disorder, though even if we know about all of them, the thing we don't is umm, what exactly the patient wants us to do about it. "You said she was with an Amber-Unit yes?" She asked. The trouble was... What exactly did one look like...

"Interesting. I take it then, that you are not a regular droid, Miguel?"

"cher when I say mechanical food I don't mean the synthesized meet. I mean how it's cooked." he smiled and flashed a sharp toothed grin at her. "I learned to cook on the streets of Na'lands, but trust me I don't mean the ingredients are bad. Back when I was a pup i learned to make a mean gumbo out of scraps from dumpsters and spices I pinched outa necessity. I learned in one of the cultural centers of America, and probably the cultural center of the southern states. So bah, I never will give too much merit to food that's been prepared by robots or made to an exact recipie. You need flavor in your food cher, and that's while I'll spice it all up eh?"

Two hours, Francis thought. Well, one and a quarter if you include getting ready." He pondered what to do and decided he should head up to the restaurant. Perhaps get a coffee and a sandwich. With that decided, he consulted the comm and headed up to and into the restaurant and looked for someone to assist.

"Noted. One Coca-cola Zero," the otter said. "I suggested pastries particularly from the South East Asia region because they are generally quick to consume and have a substantial amount of simple carbohydrates, Makani-sama. Although they are usually eaten as snacks, they could also satisfy your hunger with their high calorie count. As for the selection, we have both savoury and sweet varieties to choose from, but I would highly recommend the sweet potato and chicken spiral curry puffs with flaky pastry, kuih lapis or steamed layer cakes made with screwpine extract and coconut milk, and Vietnamese fresh spring rolls with prawns, vermicelli noodles and fresh greens with a sweet ginger chilli dipping sauce. Would that be sufficient?"
valerio wrote:Flash grinned. "I will go for anything meat from your famed factory. And I want it very rare and very tasty. I trust you on the choice, suprise me."
"Very well, Flash-sama. What would you like to order for your drink? Would you like some red wine?" he said.

While he was taking orders from the two felines, he suddenly remembered the fact that the menu he gave to his other patrons were in fact the e-menu, and a quick glance back confirmed that they knew about the feature. He... was not sure how to feel about this at first, but in the end he was glad that he does not have to make them wait. His problem-solving algorithms needed some checking after this, he reasoned.

Enrique sighed as the message appeared on the screen, "Don't worry about it. His language processor is malfunctioning and I haven't found a replacement yet. I'm probably going to have to rewire an existing one to fit his connections. You wouldn't happen to have an extra one laying about the shop would you?" He chuckled at the thought of what used to be expensive equipment just laying around waiting to be used.
*...Connection Established...* "As I was saying, we figured that heuristics would provide for more freedom of decision than letting algorithms or preprogrammed responses would. It's how biological creatures learn. At first at least, they tend to move towards scripted actions as they age. For example, they get a fresh cup of coffee which is obviously too hot, therefore they don't drink it right away. Whereas children have to be taught through experiencing the burn of hot coffee, or the reaction of the parent. Hence why liquid... makes me... panic." - Miguel

Tee shrugged, "Just hungry and looking to meet others we'll be sharing the boat with. Been so so at that last goal."

Delilah looked over some food and took a small plate of chips. She glanced around and saw a few others, she decided to perhaps converse with them later if they remained. She took the plate with her back to Tee, letting her take a chip and eat it, "It seems this place has everything from the essentials to a colorful cast of passengers. Shall be an interesting voyage, to say the least."

Francis waited by the maitre d's station to be served. It was a new feeling for him, having to wait. He wasn't quite sure he liked it. He checked the time. To his surprise, only twenty seconds had passed.

Tomas smiled and nodded to everyone as Mr. Cox announced them. "Pleasure ta meet y'all." He says after. "Hmm, well.. s'not really in mah area.." He said, tapping his chin with a finger. "But maybe yer could segment each story with ah small discussion time, then move ta the next.. " He holds his hands up. "But don't quote me on that!"
Tom casually looks over to Cody, who's now talking with another dog. "Oh, who's dog is that?"
The labrador was about to answer, when Guinevere raised her hand, "That would be my best pal, Frits. And still he needs to socialize with his peers. Droids or not."
"Aww, moom!"
"No 'mom'. Not everyone want to play frisbee first, you know."
Tom chuckled. "Heh, s'alright Miss, let 'em do what they like." he said turning to Guinevere. "Cody'll keep him occupied, won't ya buddy?"

Cody deftly nods. "Yes sir." he replies, then turning back to Frits. "What is this 'frisbee' your 'parent' spoke of? That word seems to be missing from my database."

With everyone being seated and orders being taken, James skated past the empty tables and into the kitchen. He swapped his good vest for a white, long-sleeved, chef's shirt. He started to walk out, when he felt the hand of another chef on his shoulder.

"Put them on."

"UGH!"

James begrudgingly put the matching pair of pants on and it was only then that he was presented with his toque. He smiled and put it on, being lead out with a calm hand on his back. He, as usual, was set as a tournant chef. He raced around the kitchen, almost literally, retrieving ingredients and mixing pots when the chef was busy with something else. He heard an occasional, "Thanks James!", or, "Good boy!". After a minute of racing around, he was given a meal to present to a set of patrons different from anyone he had seen enter the restaurant with Hajime. He quickly swapped his clothes back to his waiter attire and brought out his wheels, skating to the back of he restaurant, a tray balanced on his hand.

A golden retriever walked along, a wristband on his wrist and Skype open on the bright orange tablet in front of him. Thirteen faces filled the screen, two being human and the rest being a variety of animals.

"Is it cool," asked a raven perched on the man's head.

"How big is it," questioned a Fennec Fox beside the woman.

The retriever laughed as more and more questioned rose out of his siblings.

"Guys, guys! I just got off the plane and I just got out of registration. Gimme a second to relax."

"They're just excited Marky," the woman said with a smile.

"Yeah, you're there all by yourself," the man followed.

A lop-eared rabbit moved across the woman's lap.

"We expect calls every day, Marky Sparky."

Marky rolled his eyes and nodded. He was about to say something, when he bumped into the back of someone. He looked up and saw a ginger cat wearing a jacket.

"Oh, sorry."
My characters!
I got too many colors to remember. I'll put them here to see. Aren't they nice? Yep! Absolutely!
