Sorrow: The concept of "sleep" was completely lost on my body last night.
Someone put me out of my misery.

You don't like living in a house?

What: I don't check this thread for like a week, and everything happens at once. Good gosh. XD
Joy: Joining marching band has been the best decision I have ever made.
Joy: I'm almost done with my three college applications! ^_^ I'm really pleased with how they're turning out.
Mixed: Because of the football schedule and Labor Day, Thursday is the only day I have band this week. This gives me plenty of time to get as many college-things squared away as possible, and yet I'm itching to get out on that field. XP
Joy: Band competitions start September 29th! I'm so excited!
Joy: My senior project is kicking off really well; I'm selling flowers in my local area and the proceeds are going to Caleb Medley, an uninsured victim of the July shooting in Aurora, Colorado.
Joy: While I watch everyone around me freaking out about their senior year (final classes, college) I feel like I have it all figured out. Either I'm doing it wrong, or I'm extremely good at managing my stress levels.
Not sure how to feel: There was an error in the spelling of my last name on my ACT score report. It's been longer than three months, so if they refuse to fix it, I might punch someone in the throat. I want that 26 on my transcript, darn it!
Probably the thing I am most worried about right now is my Honors Physics class. But it's really math based, so it's not too horrible. X3 As long as I stay organized this semester, I'll be fine with any and all senior year duties.

I'm going to miss it so bad at the end of this year. Hope everything goes well for you.
We already had our first parade and the first game is this Friday. I'm itching to get on the field too. (And a possible drum battle!!)

Joy: I got my books today and got to spend my parents money on them. So that's pretty cool.
Joy:There's a couple concerts coming up in hte next 2 weeks or so, just a few local metal bands I like but a show's a show.
sorrow:already a bit behind on my homework, probably going to be up a bit later than I should tonight/tomorrow to make up for it.

Joy/Sorrow: Learned something about myself last night.
Sorrow because it isn't good, joy because if I'm aware of it now, I can do something about it.
I am not secure in my manhood, and I never have been.

Thanks for your support, 44R0NM10.
I think things have a better chance of being okay now that it's on my mind--I have a better chance of being able to deal with it.
The trouble is, I don't know how to do that.

Joy: We took our beginning of the year push-up/sit-up test today in gym, and I did well.
While I didn't reach my goal of 21 push-ups, getting only 18, I'm still pretty happy with that. However, the real joy is that I had a goal of 40 sit-ups, and ended up doing 75 when I had to stop because that was the most we were allowed to do. And I know I could have done at least 5 more, doubling my goal. I'm surprised with myself, and feel really good about it.
Sorrow: We have the pacer test next class. I hate the pacer test.

I don't know. It's been three years since I last did it.
All I know is that I don't run distance, I run speed. And that I don't do as well as I "should" be doing according to the paper we get.

I was never that great at the pacer. once in middle school I almost, almost made it to the level I needed. But I had to stop because I started to feel sick.

True. I seem to remember a little about the pacer, and I think you can do about twice as many as me. (At minimum)
It makes me sad that they give us a paper that makes me feel like a failure if I can't meet the minimum requirements for kids my age in state of [my state].

Aggravation: Alright, it's almsot 1 in the morning and I'm trying to finish a paper. The only place I can work is in the downstairs lobby because my roommate is asleep. So I'm down here trying to work, but I am graced with the presence of someone having a Skype argument about a haircut.
I can't wait for this weekend.

sorrow: I had to work tonight so I need to stay up late to get caught up for class.
Joy: I have about an hour's worth of reading but other than that I just need to finish watching a movie. (Being a film student is pretty awesome)
Joy:Since I'm already going to be up late I'm gong to reward myself with a 4am mcdonalds run after my homework
Joy:I only have one class tomorrow, then work from 2-5. After that I'm going to take a well deserved nap and all will be well.

Yuck, I used to get that during most allergy seasons, then I moved out of a house with cats. Now I can breathe and sleep much better, but I can't be around cats for more than a few days.
Joy: Made some REALLY stinky veggie curry with basmati rice on Naan bread with some creamy yogurt drizzled on top. YUM!
Sorrow: Sliced up my thumb a bit cutting the onion (which is NOT something you want next to an open wound (OUCH!)).
Joy: It was still very good!

Joy: Against all expectations my school actually has a PCR machine. Yay! This should help with the eventual practical. I can't believe we actually have one since they are so expensive. WHOOT!
Joy: I bought final fantasy X from CEX and it is awesome! The only downside is I don't have a PS2 so I have to borrow my younger sister's PS2.
Joy: The new timetable I have is pure awesome. I have one lesson first period on Wednesday and Friday week B. I'm thinking this calls for an early home time WHEEE!
Joy: New Resident evil film out soon. Gonna go watch it and die from awesomeness!
