It isn't already Spring where you are now? For North America, Spring started on the 20th of March which is coincidentally my mother's birthday.

Well, it is spring, but the pollen isn’t too bad yet later I know my eyes will be a watering constantly.

Sorrow, mixed with terror: Learned that congestion from allergies can last WEEKS. This is gonna be fun. Since NOTHING at all is helping.

Slightly optimistic: It really does seem to be subsiding but I am still gonna be taking Benadryl and Zyrtec just in case its lulling me into a false sense of security.

Sorrow(?): it's April, the first month of the busiest quarter of the year for me, less time for games, chat, hang out, games, relaxing, posting in the RP threads, games, sports, and especially my favorite thing to do, gaming. Things will slow down dramatically in here for me and I don't think I'll even have time to talk much with my friends and people i care about, at least past experience seem to indicate so.

Sorrow: Place I wanted to apply at laid off its entire staff...
Joy: Began writing my first novel!

Wouldn't the place you wanna apply to laying off its staff be a good thing since you can now get a job from one of the workers who lost their job?

I honestly thought of that after I left the store and was half way down the road...think I may head back next week.

I'd say it's more of a red flag. If they're laying off a lot of people they're probably in trouble and own't be open much longer.

Sorrows: or they're "cyclers", hiring people and keeping them until their wages reach a certain level and then the management replaces them.

Sorrow: Today the furry fandom lost one of our own. Dogbomb was a friend to many and an inspiration to many more, and his legacy will live on. Today, his fight with ALS ended peacefully and on his own terms. He'll be remembered as a wonderful guy, always enthusiastic and happy, and as a beacon of hope for many. He has willed his body to science so even in death he continues to inspire and aid people.

Rest easy, Dogbomb. You will be missed.

For anyone struggling to deal with this loss, there is hope and there is help available. Please feel free to PM any member of staff day or night and we'll do our best to point you towards professionals who are trained to aid in this sort of situation. Life goes on and Dogbomb wants you all to remember him fondly and keep on living instead of mourning his loss.

Sorrow: Same here, Amazee. Clear someone I wished I'd known.

Joy: Took Sophie to the beach today. For a dog missing a front paw, she has such a riotous good time.

He wasn't a member of our forums, folks. He was well known and well loved in the furry fandom though. He was quite active on Twitter and also went to conventions and ran marathons.

The way that his death was announced on the Discord and the fact that the whole channel was pinged was what made me think I should have known him,as everybody seemed to have to know. I NEVER get pinged for anything! :o

He had ALS, one of the most horrible ways to go after cancer, possibly even above it. I’m kinda glad if nothing else, people are responding to it though, we can all only pray that our last moments on this earth have some kind of meaning to them

Which is why he ended up choosing physician assisted suicide via secobarbital overdose. The mere thought of ALS being something with NO cure and what I consider to be WORSE than cancer feels me with terror

Yeah it really does stink when you can't find information on past attractions or anything in the past. Sometimes not even the Wayback Machine can help me.

Thanks for that assurance. It was just me being paranoid and overly sensitive so I need to learn not always to jump to the worst conclusions and accuse people of insulting me when they aren't.

Anyway, did you fly down there or drive?
