Joy: I took a DMV learners permit test today, AND I PASSED!!!!

Sorrow: Christopher Ayres, the voice of Frieza, has advanced C.O.P.D and final stage Emphysema. Didn't know that. And he's gotta voice Frieza. Ouch.

Joy: At the same time, that's awesome. He's not letting this stop him. Keep fighting, Chris!

Joy: I got my first job. I'm a cashier at Giant starting Monday
Joy: I'll probably be mostly working evenings so I don't need to sleep early.
hopeful: hopefully I do well enough to keep the job

Joy: I start classes tomorrow! Starting tomorrow, I'm finally getting closer to being a doctor!

Sorrow: I still haven't solidified a friend circle. I hope I can manage that!

Sorrow: I didn't know you couldn't get a refund on a game from the PlayStation store once you've started downloading it, so now I've wasted thirty dollars on a game that wound up being boring. And it took me roughly three hours to download and install it!

Sorrow: I was hoping to post a new RP in the RP section, but it looks like it's going to be late...

Joy: That's because we just got a new kitty today! His name is Orion, and he's such a cute kitty.

Not sure which: II just went through an entire bottle of whiskey after almost ten years of not having a steady supply...

My tolerance seems to have gone through the floor...

Amusing: This conversation with my brother was treated as fun, but after playing with my brother on Unknownplayer's Battleground, my brother starts to think i spend too much time on Housepets. He asked me to stop visiting Housepets so much. When i asked why? The only answer he could come up with was we're furries. I asked him "Am i a furry?" ~ He couldn't answer that question. :3

I should totally go %100 furry just to mess with him. fursuit and all.

Well, if you REALLY want to mess with his mind, dress up for Halloween. No way most people would be able to tell during that. And it's not like all of us are furries.

To be fair ~ This isn't the first time he done this. We usually are quick to correct him on this, but it's amusing how he seems to keep doing it.

Joy: I got out and saw the eclipse! The sky was clear and I had a good view.

Sorrow: I was at the edge of totality, so there was always a tiny sliver of light getting past the moon. As a result, none of my pictures turned out well. All of them just look like the sun...

Joy: The eclipse was really cool!

Sorrow: I was still a little away from a total eclipse, and at the highest time I had to go to class.

Joy: My first day of school yesterday went pretty well. I like my classes and I got to see a lot of my friends. I just hope this year is a good one and passes by fast.

So in the past couple years since I like actually posted

joy: graduated college
came out, my sister, folks, and friends all took it well
made some cool movies
made a ton of punk friends so I get to talk to people at shows now instead of standing in corners!
a really cool basement venue that does punk shows popped up a couple blocks from my house
got a drivers license finally.


sorrows: broke
not working in my field yet
had a major creative block the last year or so haven't really been writing or finishing projects
working lots of nights and weekends right now and I just want a regular day job so I can go to shows

thanks pal, I also hope I can figure out the job thing and not work at my kinda lame kitchen job for too long.

Joy: Almost immediately found someone who's gonna buy my laptop. The sale has already been made, just waiting for this weekend to be over so I can go ship it. Should have enough money after this to build my desktop.

Joy: I had a wonderful time with my mate this weekend and did a lot of good studying! Medical school's gonna be tough though.

Sorrow: just learnt about Hurricane Irma.

Sorrow: A youtuber i like to watch lives in a part of florida that's being evacuated. i hope he'll be okay.

Sorrow: Arankudo lives in an evacuation zone and he said he wasn't able to evacuate. He also said there are no open shelters. Please keep him in your thoughts.

Joy: I finally managed to clean the dishes in my sink, so now my house can stop smelling

Joy: I'm getting a bigger paycheck now that I'm working a new job.

Sorrow: There are no "Share A Coke" bottles with my name on it (Just so you know, my actual name's Kurt and I'm honestly kinda shocked by it. I mean, Kurt Cobain, Kurt Vonnegut and Kurt Russell to name a few.)

Are there Curts at least?

Joy: I did pretty well on my big anatomy exam!

Sorrow: Big biochemistry exam on Thursday so I can't relax that much!

Joy!: Bought the components for my new computer build!
Less Joy: I was able to get it done today but I got back at 10:30PM
Slight Sorrow: My truck gets iffy gas mileage. Nothing like using almost 3/4 a tank for an 80 mile drive.
More Sorrow: It was not cheap. I did the math so I have enough take make it through this pay period. But it was definitely not cheap.

Joy: today is my schools homecoming! Now that I'm a junior I have a little more school spirit but we still never win these things lol. I'm just here chillin and I'm actually gonna go to the game tonight. Pretty excited anyway.

Sorrow: Test went awful.

Joy: I can drop it, at least. And at least that awful week is behind me!

joy: we're super short staffed but one of my buddies is gonna apply to be a cook there and he'd be the second friend I helped get a job since I Started at my newest gig. hoping he follows through.

Joy: I went to red lobster to celebrate getting a new job!

Sorrow: I ate WAY too much of the endless shrimp and I just know it's going to make me sick for half a week. XP

But... it's endless!

Oh gosh i'm having flashbacks to working at red lobster during endless shrimp so glad I'm done with that mess even if I can't steal biscuits anymore

Joy: I'm actually working on my own creative projects more.

Sorrow ish: Just an hour or so ago my bathroom decided to play a game of The Weakest Link and started spraying water everywhere!

Joy: It broke before I actually fell asleep, thank goods. Nothing was ruined aside from some paper towels and potentially the built in rug floor of the room connected to the temporary fountain, and the piece that broke wasn't major and should be easily replaced.

Weird sorrow: for some reason this event jarred me more than really anything I've experienced, which I find really odd, even if my "jarring event" pool is quite shallow. Either way, alls well that ends surprisingly okay.

Sorrow: Been feeling very tired lately. Job barely has time off and I feel like i could use the rest. October 13th can't arrive soon enough. (Vacation starts then).

Joy: Moving to another contract next shift change. I'm going to miss technical support, but I've been doing way too much of it in my life that i need a chance of pace for once.

Sorrow: I've got so much studying to do.

Joy: At least I have a date tonight!

Sorrow: The CV joint on my drivers side front axle is going out. Clickety clicks down the road until I get moving.

Joy: I actually managed to figure out that it was the CV axle and not the wheel bearing. Axles are cheap.

Sorrow: RIP Tom Petty.

Sorrow: I pace in life since i was a kid. It's not the non-stop pacing, it's just the phone pacing type and the "waiting for the car" type, but it appears people are starting to point out the flaws of my pacing in life when I don't even focus on them ~ all i ever had was positive experiences with it. It's starting to feel like a problem now. And working in a call center for years can't seem to make people happy.

Update: Now I appear to be showing signs of exhaustion. great.
