I'm really sad that two chicks ended up dying before they reached you. Though I am glad that in death they can help you and your family out.

Joy: Today I had a great phone call with my college advisor. I'm very happy to share my future college plans, which I've been sorting out for the last few months. I want to major in actuarial science and I've finally decided which college I'll transfer to in the fall to finish my Bachelor's degree. I also finalized my fall semester class schedule and put an early bid on the dorm I want. I couldn't be more excited about the campus. I love everything about it and I can't wait to get my gen eds behind me. :D

UW Eau Claire ;) I considered (and was accepted into, humble brag) a few other campuses, but I chose EC because I most most impressed with its facilities and staff. And they sent me UW EC pillowcase in the mail, so how can I not pick them?

Nah it's good. Didn't want to share it unless someone asked. No point in including unnecessary details, even if this tidbit is safe enough to be posted online. Just don't go around telling it to strangers, okay? :P

Excellent! Despite the best efforts of certain dark forces in the state, Wisconsin has a terrific university system and takes good care of their students. I spent three years in Madison.

Sorrow: My other cousin (the older sister of my future goddaughter) can't have a party for her birthday because of the virus and the risk of infection so all we can do is drive by her house in a car parade and hope that makes her happy.

Joy: Going to aim towards getting the Wario Ware collection of games.

Sorrow: Have to deal with nnid and the troubleshooting needed to get a discontinued game from the discontinued Wii Shop Channel.

Note that I have purchased it before, so I'm racing against time before the Wii Shop Channel closes permanently.

Sorrow: Today is the 6-year anniversary of my grandfather's death. It also is the 6-year anniversary of my grandmother going downhill which eventually resulted in her death in February.

My son-in-law lost his grandfather to the virus. I only met the gentleman once, at the wedding. No funeral plans, not that we can go anyhow.

Sorrows: I've been grappling with major issues with this class given its all-online nature. I don't like this professor at all. I'm only able to get good grades thanks to due date extensions and help from my classmates. This class is only going to be passed in spite of the professor and the way he teaches, rather than thanks to him. This is technically the last class I'm taking before I get my degree, with the real final "class" being an internship.

Joys: Thanks to these due date extensions and help from a very kind classmate, I think I'll be able to tackle these upcoming assignments more easily. Alongside this, if push comes to shove, we can choose to get a grade of "Pass" instead of a regular letter grade. This is because of the way the class was forced online thanks to COVID-19.

I'm really just looking forward to this class being over. It can't end soon enough.

Well, you've got a friend, Ash, and sooner rather than later, that class will be over. You'll never see that prof again and you can launch into graduation (premature congrattz, by the way!).

Joy: Today is my 10th anniversary on the forums! :D
It's funny that when I first joined, I felt like I was late to the party, cause the comic had been running for 2 years and King was already on the scene and so many members had already come and gone. But after 10 years, I've gotten to witness a lot of things myself. :D
So thank you Rick for Housepets! and thank you all for coming here to share in the experience ^^

Oh there were multiple issues that were wrong with it. What I remember was that it needed a new roof, new electrical outlets, the deck needed work, the front stoop was cracking and the rugs all needed to be ripped out.
