Thank you for your sympathy. Its really hard dealing with them sometimes.

Sorrow:
Lost my job due to decreased volume at the warehouse.

Sorrow/Fury:
I lost another friend to a drunk driver.

Joy:
I have been sober for six months
Joy:
I am taking classes again.
I'm sorry to hear that. It makes my problems seem more bearable knowing that someone has it worse than me.

I'm sorry about you friend.

Hopefully the classes you take will help you get a skill set that can lead to a better job. Warehouse and shipping jobs tend to ebb and flow with the seasons. They might hire you back as winter ends and freight picks up again.

Stay strong.

What caused her lungs to burst Cyan? And what part of the lungs that burst exactly? The alveoli? The membrane?

My mum said it is a very serious condition indeed, and can be fatal. She sends her prayers to your friend and you, as do I

Well, at least you're no worse than me.

I lost an LG phone with the SD inside, near a soccer/football club.

I lost another phone, this time a samsung one (was my brother's phone :? ) when waiting to the bus.

And i lost a Nokia Asha 201 for not using deep pockets when going on bus.

I promise myself that i will be careful with my ASUS ZenFone 2 (and unlike the previous ones, this one is not cheap)

Well, I once used the landline phone to call my mobile phone because I couldn't find my mobile and when the mobile phone rang it turned out to be on the bench right next to the landline phone that I was calling it from. *facepaw*

Ouch tsMKG. Yeah that would really stink if I lost it forever. Did you eventually find those phones or are they gone for good?

I remember that there were two times I nearly lost my first phone. Both times we found it outside. One was on a sports field at my Middle School. It fell out of my pocket when some of the kids and me were playing after we just finished a field trip or something.

The other time it was in the yard at my house. I have no clue how it happened, and if it wasn't for my Dad finding it, who knows what would have happened. Probably would have rained or something and ruined it before I would have found it.

After those two times though, I've never lost my phone. (Something like 8 years or so) My basic phone rule is: If it's not on the charger or in my hand, it's in my front right pocket. Period. I am so accustomed to having the phone in my pocket that if I walk away without it, I usually notice and retrieve it immediately. (Might not be a bad idea to try and develop a similar habit if you have problems with loosing you phone or similar device.)

Anyway, Joy: I'm finally getting the chance to check out my new laptop. I decided to buy myself a new one for Christmas and I just haven't had much time really use it yet. It's one of the most powerful off of the shelf models you can buy, yet it seems so slow compared to my other laptop because my other one has a solid state drive while this on has a standard hard drive.

Guess I'll have to fix that when I can.

My condolences to you Hlao, may he rest in peace.

Sorrow: Heard rumours that government scholarships for tertiary students are going to be redacted, and this would affect my brother, who still has one year left. Our economy continues to screw us. Hope this stays as a rumour and nothing more...

Hopeful Joy: I have a warm fuzzy about my tax refund.

I'm getting my W-2 some time this week, so I just downloaded all the TurboTax apps on my iPad. Normally, the Taxcaster app says I'll owe a few hundred, but I end up with a refund of a few hundred because it doesn't take my tax-exempt retirement account (not an IRA) into account.

This year, it's saying I'm getting a pretty big refund. If it goes the way it usually does...
