Keep an eye out. Really, the big issue is if they ate dark chocolate. The more cocoa, the more caffeine-like chemicals which can cause issues with dogs. I did read that the potential lethal dose for milk chocolate is one ounce per pound of body weight, or 62 grams of milk chocolate per 1 kg of body weight.

From what i gathered, she's 50 in weight and ate only 4 ounces of it. Unfortunately we were to take her to the vet today, but the battery in the car died of all days. Still trying to get her to the vet.

She looks to be doing ok, though. vet on the phone just says to watch for any extensive drinking and make sure she's not puking too much. she only puked twice since eating the chocolate, which is ok to the vet.

Joy: Today (Saturday), Sunday, and Monday, the little chatroom I run is gonna have three birthdays in a row- and one is mine! What're the odds?

Sorrow: I accidentally cut the side of my hand with a butcher's knife due to mishandling. The wound's small but deep and cleanly split revealing the flesh. My mum tried to patch it up, but I sweat too much, and the bandage fell off

joy: I'm glad it was just that and nothing more. I'm also glad I took the situation calmly and did not go into a panic attack or something, despite a part of me desperately wanting me to

Yeah, you really took that well. I would have panicked had that happen to me.

Sorrow: I can't tell if I'm just tired or sad. Either way, my sorta bad schedule is starting to get to me. It's not that because I'm so busy all the time that I can't catch a break. I actually have enough break time in between some of my classes. It's just that from Mondays to Thursdays, my classes end at around night time (past 7:30pm basically), and it's really difficult especially with the 1-2 hour commute home.
Heellooooooooo!! Anyone who wants to talk to me, please do. I get lonely sometimes and I get scared whenever I talk first...

I guess it's partially because I'm used to getting minor cuts and bruises on my arms and legs all the time, some without even me realizing it. My mum also happens to be a nurse with 30 years of experience, so knowing that eases my worries. Finally, being the optimistic pessimist that I am, I had thought of the worst case scenarios when it comes to physical accidents, and planned my action plans ahead if they were to ever happen.

Joy: The wound is healing nicely; not much of a gap between the two sections

Just hang in there, it's more likely to happen than you might think. During my first year, back in my ex-uni, my classes were between 8am to 10pm, with only 3 hours of break between them for two days and 6 for the rest of the weekdays. If that's any consolation to you, I think you're just adapting mentally to having a long day is all

Joy: I had a phone interview today, first of the new year. Job sounds very promising!

Sorrow: I'm now totally worried about how well I did, and will probably continue to do so for the rest of today and probably tomorrow until I hear back. So many things have gone wrong searching for a job, I just want something go right for once.

Your sorrow is what I tend to do with EVERYTHING! I worry and worry if I did something right and then when it gets so much, I just give up on it and stop doing it. Its how neurotic I am. :?

Well, at least is no worse than my HDD problem

My PC while has approximately 400GB left out of 1TB, the HDD is going very slowly and the diagnostics says that my HDD is going to break. And my Mom and Dad has 40% of their photos there and no backup of them. :? ,

Sorrow: My closest friend passed away last night. I hadn't seen him in a while, only over the last few weeks before he was hospitalized for blood clots and an infection on his pacemaker. When I last saw him a few days ago, he looked strong, like he was going to get through this. Goes to show how quickly life can change. He was a good man, the nicest most selfless person I had the pleasure to know. If only I had spent more time with him.

Sorrow:

My mom is seriously considering divorcing my stepfather. I knew they had their fights but never did it seem this bad.

One of the drivers at work got irate with me (as they are prone to do) and didn't like my attitude. He called in and complained to the boss and now I have been written up. I still have a month and half of training left and I already have a disciplinary report. Nothing makes a high stress job more stressful than having someone tittletattle on you like its junior high.

I want the world to just go away.
