sorrow: I seem to have acute paronychia (infection of the skin around the finger nail)
sorrow (minor): people think a 7 and half hours is a long work day
joy: recently discovered housepets and the amazing community arounding
sorrow: the house pets books arrived while I was at work so are with my neighbour who isn't in.

EDIT: extra joy: my neighbour just got home so books are here

Joy: My art idol that is the entire reason I really got into art watched me on DeviantArt last night, and said right in their own stream that I have a lot of talent.

I don't think I've felt as happy as I am now since the 2nd grade.

Also, I neglected to thank you guys for the kind words before, so thanks for all of that!

Sorrow: The Seahawks lost the Super Bowl. That's not the problem, though- the problem is that now I have to listen to everyone in my school whine about it!

Joy: The part inside my door that the handle button pushes against was rusty and I didn't know it, so it decided to keep my car door continuously unlocked. I drove to McDonald's like that then to my friends house and his dad showed me how to fix it.

Sorrow: Currently in a dark place... because of a nightmare I couldn't barely get any sleep. I woke up crying... Not only that, I keep finding that I'm beating myself up (My mind) for no apparent reason. I just hope that my mood improves...
Joy: Because of snow, classes are cancelled today.

EDIT: Sorrow: Aaannd I missed a free music drop for my favorite band. *Sigh* My typical luck... ;(

Joy: My friend Hunter came to visit me and gave me the Christmas presents that she got me. I got a stack of books, a piece of original art, and a new gator (not an alligator but a type of stretchy tube scarf) that has a skull printed on it. We hung out, went shopping, ate Chinese food and watched movies.

he worked on Red Vs. Blue. and I recommend you check out RWBY, his original project with them. (meaning it was his idea, not that it was the first thing he did with them)

Sorrow: My laptop has been dead for a while now (it won't start up properly), and I probably won't be able to recover any of my stuff from it (art, writing, etc.)

Consolation: I've got some of my stuff backed up on a thumb drive.

I wish I could say that today's going well... but that would be a lie.

Sorrow: Because I didn't save correctly (accidentally saving in a temp folder), I lost my work for today's class. I was told that I could leave early and that because I didn't have my work that I would lose participation and the attendance for the class. *Sigh* Can this week end already?

But... I can say that there is a bright side to this.

Joy: My English tutor got me some Chilli Cheese Fries for today to make me feel better. She's literally the best friend I have on this campus right now. <3
Joy: I'm slowly but surely getting my lost work completed. Final draft is due tonight, so no slacking. It's crunch time.

I just have to keep my hope up. I can't back down. I need to fight. I'm a Warrior.

That sounds like a problem with the laptop itself, not the Hard Drive. If that's the case, it's possible to pull the Hard Drive out and recover stuff. If you have anything of value on it (such as programs you had to pay for), it should even be possible to put the old drive into a new computer/copy the old drive to a new one and your new computer will be just like your old one (minus the not starting thing).

sorrow : unlike last year , things are not going well with my internship thingy this time around , and this year is more important , sigh.....
sorrow : maybe it's the weather , which I really hope it is , but I feels kinda off the last few weeks . I get tired easier and easier , sleep more and more , and worst of all , I believe that my memory is worsening really quickly .

Oh man, I definitely know how you feel. I think the lack initiative taking plays a big part in the drifting, I'm pretty sure my old friends were decent people who wouldn't mind meeting up again once in a while. That is, if I go and doing something about it, like asking them.

I can relate to that too. I mean, yeah, we got a long okay, but we never really got to know each other in a personal level and really only got to talk and stuff was in school.
