Nervousness comes with the territory of new jobs, no worries, you'll do fine.

Joy: Thanks to a friend who is willing to let me carpool, I don't have to give up one of my routine social outings.
Minor Sorrow: PSN is down for the next three days, I'm gonna miss talking to my gaming buddies in that time.

Really? why? (not that it'll effect me much. I barely noticed it being down when it got hacked)

Not completely sure on the reasoning beyond that they are doing an update of some form...and I think there was something to do with an accidental charging of tax on the PSN shop last year, and getting the wrongly charged money back to the people in belongs to. The later being a time consuming task to be sure.

Sorrow: Lately I've been experiencing some sort of strange derealization. Not quite as before. No idea why, Though. Good things have been happening. I literally occasionally think to myself that this is a dream, But covering my nose and trying to breathe/pinching myself suggests otherwise. O_o

I just feel so strange. o_e It's moderately disturbing.. I kinda wish it could just stop.

Sorrow: I skipped work today... for no apparent reason apart from just plain laziness.
Sorrow: I was again tricked out of my money by scheming people, this time on the phone.
Sorrow: I uninstalled my antivirus programme by mistake, and my laptop's now vulnerable to online threats. Not enough dough to buy a new one.
Sorrow: I hate myself for being either stupidly paranoid or stupidly naive.

Joy: Well, I'm alive. That's always a good thing right?

Look up Avast or AVG. They're both great programs, and they both have a free version you can download that works just as well for basic protection as pretty much anything you could buy.

Avast is great. The thing about antivirus software is that the most popular is usually bad since people write viruses to get around them.

Sorrow: Insomnia, it really kinda bites...
Minor Joy: I was wrong about the PSN, whether that's because I had the dates wrong or they just didn't need as much time as they thought, I can't say. One way or the other, happy to have been wrong.

Quite right. xP I guess we'll never know how real reality really is.

Joy: Well, I'm alive. That's always a good thing right?
I usually use MSE, Microsoft Security Essentials. MS designed windows, They did a fairly good job at an antivirus for it. It's free to anyone with a genuine installation of windows. (licensed)

Either way, If your computer explodes from virus, that's no biggie. You can just format the disk and start over. If you don't have a Windows installation CD then you could use a linux distro, and viruses never target those. xb

Anyways

Sorrow: My thoughts have gone on for too long. They now degrade me. My self-esteem is low again. Why must I compare myself to others so much? I'm too competitive. I want to be like others in the positive aspects. But I feel like I'm worse in most, if not all aspects that matter. It's just, sigh. :c I'm so unhappy with myself.

Joy: Feeling great tonight. ^^ RP'ed with a friend and talked a lot, and made a lot of progress on resolving several mental problems I've had By discussing them rationally and logically.
So happy now. ^^ Today was finally at least percieved to be very good. I hope this mood lasts at least to my sleep.

Give it time, Kitela, and surround yourself with good, understanding friends.

And Brent, I'm terribly gullible to suggestions or orders from others, even to the extent of changing my own philosophies and views. I'm especially susceptible towards salespersons with the gift of the gab if they managed to break through my defenses.

Joy: Installed Avast, and I have to say that it performs more efficiently than Kaspersky (what I used before).
Joy: One of my supervisors treated me to lunch. Free food!

Sorrow: I somehow got stuck in a power scuffle between my two supervisors, and each of them somehow tried to appeal for me for some reason, while giving me opposite instructions in continuing the research.

Nice hubcap, Seth. I think you should have gone with Sleets idea instead of surgically replacing it with your head.

Sleet's idea was good, but replacing my head with a hubcap technically makes me a tranformer.

Transformers get a ton of scholarships in Michigan, it was the only logical choice.
