I got a letter to go to australia from sumthin called the people to people student ambassador programs
woo! XD yah just thought i should tell u guys

I don't want to burst your bubble, but you do realize the cost involved with this right?
Unless you got the money for it, its not worth it. Me and my friends got invited but when we took a look at the prices my stomach and heart plummeted. They broach about how this gets the youth leaders and academically talented kids around the country an opportunity to expand their "talents". But if you think about it, only the rich can afford this, and im sure there are millions of kids out there who have amazing potential but can't cough up the thousands of dollars needed for this trip. Also, don't quote me on this, but i think they invite everyone if your grades are at least competent.
Sorry If my post hurt your feelings or burst your bubble in any ways, just wanted to put my oar in.
Now if you get into an Ivy League connection trip to one of the Ivy League schools tell me because i wanna do that :3

Studying overseas isn't bad. I think you can learn a lot just from the experience of going overseas.
However, since I don't know the content of that letter. So please make sure that the letter is absolutely real. Make sure that it is not a fraud or anything like that.
I am not an expert, but the last thing you want is to be tricked.
Anyway, if the letter is indeed real, then... Congratulations and have fun! I hope you a great learning experience!

Oh I've done that. If you can afford it, I do reccommend it, it was quite fun.

I'm pretty sure it's legit. We've gotten them here in NC too. Some people get offered Australia, others New Zeland. I have three friends that got offered, and one I think is actually going to do it. =D
Oh yeah, it's a lot... like.... two thousand dollars, right?

Depends on where you're going. It can go as high as 7000 dollars. Which can buy you 2333 In and Out burgers. Mmmm. In and out.

As someone who lives in a place where we don't have any of those, as well as someone who has seen A Clockwork Orange, I have to say that every time I hear that name it's kind of awkward. Now I'll say no more on that.
