It's not like there's any real significance to midnight, except legally. It's not like that's the time he... uhh... hatched. Unless it was. That would actually be pretty cool.

I was born at like 4:00 PM so I go through most of my day having people wishing me a happy birthday and then I'm not actually a year older until I'm home, away from most of those people.

That is why it is called Birthday. As in the day of birth, not the time.

Short answer: The latter

Long answer:

I have a friend who sent me a Skype disk along with a one-eared headphone with microphone, so I am totally capable of speaking using Skype. However, that doesn't mean I can use it right away. Since that disk is five years old, I will still have to download it. In fact I even have a crystal eye on my laptop, you people get to see my face. I never used it before though. But I have two big problems that are my poor English skill and my less-than-good Internet. My limited bandwidth is also an issue. My poor English skill is an issue because I don't want to embarrass myself. But since I won't get good without using it so I have use it sooner or later. However I will probably want to practice it with someone first, which will probably turn into a stale conversation very quickly. But that's not an issue because it is practice, right? My Internet is a bigger issue, I don't even know how much bandwidth Skype uses. Considering my Internet is really slow the lag could be really bad, however that is not the main issue. The worst part is the bandwidth. If a single sentence costs 1 MB of bandwidth, then I will reach my daily limit by 100 sentences. That's a big problem and I will probably not join if it is true. Now there is actually a third problem. Since you guys are doing the Skype chat in my noon or morning, that means everyone will see me speak to the computer, which makes me look weird. Feeling weird doesn't help me speak better, not to mention I just simply don't like to be observed. So unless the above problem can be fixed, I probably won't be doing this anytime soon.

But I will probably try it... Someday.
