Lately, I've been listening to Damon Albarn
*If you're lonely, Press Play*
*Friday night... In the Kingdom of Doom*

If you like stuff that's a bit more exciting than that sort of thing, I go for stuff like this
*Wire- In the Art of Stopping*

And, Something in the Middle.
*Guided By Voices- Hardcore UFOs*

Vanessa Carlton - Paint It Black

Found this 9 months ago and thought it was just so HILARIOUS how people were threatening her for DARING to sing a cover of a The Rolling Stones song.

Ooh I've seen that one a while back! With LoL being one of the biggest games right now, it was a good move for Imagine Dragons to make LoL fans a song!

Does anyone ever listen to Elevator Music anymore? Now they just play rock in grocery stores.

Most of the elevators here don't have muzak music in elevators. To me, I only hear the winding of the gears.

And me praying to myself that the elevator doesn't stall or drop down suddenly.

6equj5 is a great listen for any psyc fan with 18 minutes to spare.

Duke Dumont - Won't Look Back
Amazee Dayzee wrote:Actually that song isn't that old. Came out 4 years ago.
Considering how changes the dance music scenery, for 4 years it's now old, really. It's historic because of the success got in Europe.

It was a bit successful in the US as well. It peaked at number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Wonderful Night - Fatboy Slim
I've been practising the radio edit.
I suspect it's pretty old, but I just found it and it has a great stuck-in-your-headness.

Ah I remember Rocko's Modern Life. I wish they could make a revival, but I don't think anybody is interested on that front.

First off, prepare your ears! You will most likely go deaf if you are wearing headphones and the volume is up when you start this...

So, I was browsing the forums of an online game I play and someone posted a link to an album there. I believe this genre is called "Noise"? I'm not sure really, but I have no idea what to think of this. Anyone got any ideas/input?

"Music"

I consider myself pretty open minded, and I listened to about 30 seconds of that "Noise" before I was just like "I'm out of here!"

So, who has pretty much lost hope in the radio? I did, and then I found KALX- which is a college radio station from Berkeley, California.
Naturally you may wonder, how shall I listen to this "KALX" radio station? They stream live over the internet. This is where you want to go to hear the more obscure/cooler/older-non-classic-rock stuff. There are a few DJs and some are better than others. I know one of them personally XD!
But anyway I'll link ya', and tell me what you think: KALX Live Radio
They play many different Genres, and as I said, the DJs play different things. So please don't judge immediately.

Here's some stuff I found through KALX:
Circulatory System-Signal Morning (Full Album)
Bleeding Rainbow- Wasted Youth

Yeah, I can't stand the most of the junk they play on the radio.
I do follow the local radio station KEXP, though.
I'll have to check out the one you posted...

Hey! At least it has a steady beat and everything.

Reminds me a bit of this, http://hella.bandcamp.com/album/tripper. But this I think I can actually listen to.

Ugh, what a waste of bytes, seconds and decibels... :P
Between the unpopular genres, I somehow appreciate Minimal and Techno as background music, but I don't use to listen it much. There's some wicked stuff.

Somehow my parents happened on a Lou Bega CD, when they usually listened to asian classics from the 50-70s.
I listened to this in the car when I was a tiny little thing.
