I'm really impressed by the vocals of The Heart Carol - Luna Jax & WoodLore.

Oh man, I love that one! They do sound really good together =P
And it's kinda fitting too, considering how well they get along on Skype. I highly doubt they'll stop collabing any time soon =P

I kinda want to get WoodLore to tag along with Luna Jax and I to Everfree Northwest just so that they can perform together, if not on stage then at the hotel XD It would be a treat to see them do something live <3

Wait so you know one of them? How on earth did they sync so well when not...you know, singing into the same microphone? I have a feeling this is complicated. :P

Captain Beefheart...

Too Much Time
This song was actually almost an R&B hit, however when the DJs found out he was white, they stopped playing the song... 1972 was a pretty different time, eh?

He also had a pretty weird side tho:
Big Eyed Beans From Venus

Although I feel that the song Sun Zoom Spark helps to show his clear style.

All of these songs are from the album Clear Spot from 1972... Captain Beefheart also had a pretty large influence on Tom Waits....

Excellent *rubs paws together like a mad scientist*

But I'm changing up the style a bit. Komeda, a Swedish band from the 90s to be exact....

Oj Vilket Liv- Some of their early stuff that was in Swedish off of the album Pop Pa Svenska

Nonsense- Later on they developed another side singing in English.
Off of the album Kokomemedada.

Hey! I loved listening to Bob Sinclar in high school, gave me a smile listening to them. They were so very unabashedly optimistic.

Those has been the years of his musical career rise, giving a great refresh to the mainstream dance music. Now he's back into club's house music.

I don't really know how to describe this person. They make Celtic, Fantasy, Viking, Metal, Dark, Only Piano, and other kinds of music. But if you like that kind of stuff like I do, then I'd recommend this guy.

I'm not sure why, but this song reminds me of Hlaoroo. I think it may have something to do with the similarity I perceive in it to Land Downunder. :|
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

So, Modest Mouse has a new album coming out in 6 days... I'm excited
Their last LP was We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank way back in 2007 (the last EP was No One's First, And You're Next back in 2009).
Anyway, I've been listening to them a lot lately.
Here are some of my favorite songs:
Dramamine
Teeth Like God's Shoeshine
Talking **** About a Pretty Sunset
Night On The Sun
World At Large
Never Ending Math Equation
Trucker's Atlas
This Devil's Workday
Missed the Boat
Spitting Venom
The Whale Song

I found the actual song that my Accapella choir is doing! One of my favorites too. :P

Delta Rae - Bottom Of The River

(I might audition for the solo as well... probably not gonna get it though. We've got some really powerful Altos in our choir that could NAIL the part. I'm just gonna audition just for fun. I'm normally a Bass. >w<)

If you haven't heard Run the Jewels yet go listen right now it's pretty much the best thing ever. I can't repost it here because they swear a decent ammont but just go do it. It's some cool lyrical, menacing, and intelloigent hip-hop. But like new so you don't have to feel like that jerk that only likes the 90's.

Black Sabbath: The Wizard has been declared the funkiest song ever and possibly the best song to play super smash brother to ever by an expert panel consisting of me and a close friend.

The new Modest Mouse album isn't very good :(
It has a few good songs on it, like 4 or 5 really.
At times it just doesn't feel like Modest Mouse.

Oops! Sorry about that, but maybe people get to enjoy it a second time? :D

Watching the superbowl halftime, with Missy Elliot out of nowhere I was pleasantly surprised to find the source of a particularly catchy sample in a mashup song I listen to. Get Ur Freak On sounds nice. :)

There is a game going around Tumblr and I wanted to see if you all wanted to play.

Its the Name-Song Game.

Take your name, your user name or your real name, and chose a song whose name stars with each letter in your name! Try to make it a song that represents you in some way. Either it's sentiment or lyrical content, or if you just really like that song!
