Been getting into fugazi lately. I've had 13_ songs on my iPod for a while but it took some time to get over it not being minor threat. I've been really into burning, the waiting room, and bulldog front.

Freakin' love Fugazi, man.
I'd suggest giving their albums "Repeater" and "The Argument" a listen.

It'll probably happen eventually. I like the band enough that eventually I'll find more of their stuff at one of the local record stores.

I've found it quite the experience to play House of the Rising Sun and A Whiter Shade of Pale at the same time.

They're similar enough that the drums kinda blend together.
Also, hearing two British men yell at you at the same time really wakes you up.

I recently found another Acapella group that's different from others I've listened too, they sing country! (Stops you) WAIT HEAR ME OUT! These guys are Home Free and their music is so good. Their bass, Tim Foust is absolutely amazing as well. Here's one of my favorites by them:

Ring of Fire - Home Free (Live Performance: 'The Sing-Off')

DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I HAVE WAITED TO FIND SOMEONE ON THIS FORUM WHO IS INTO POP MUSIC AS MUCH AS I AM HUUUUUUUUUURGH.

We're friends now. I also freaking love Maroon 5, Lady Gaga, and Fall Out Boy. Owl City is basically my favorite band.

I also like bands with an "indie pop" feel like Capital Cities, Mumford and Sons, Muse, Passion Pit, Foster The People, and Neon Trees.

This is a song I'm pretty into right now, it's called "Dangerous" by Big Data: http://youtu.be/E8b4xYbEugo

(I also like country music, EDM, and a variety of other genres. I'm just not too big on hardcore rap or heavy metal.)
Let me tell you about Homestuck.

Here, have some Christmas music..

"Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)" - Ramones
"Father Christmas" - The Kinks
"Christmas" - The Who (Live at Isle of Wight)
"The Pause of Mr. Claus" - Arlo Guthrie

I stopped by the record store earlier this month, and they had a bunch of Christmas albums out. One album caught my eye and I had to get it.

If you've heard of Feist, this reminds me of some of her albums like The Reminder, where you can relax and enjoy the aural world they create from the song.

This song is something that I have stumbled across a few years ago when I was in Arizona. I didn't learn the name of the song until a year later, so I was very delayed.

I've been infamous for listening to prog,
so I've been dipping my toe in to post-punk.

I'm going to shut up now and introduce a few of you
to Joy Division.

This song's the opener, but the rest of the album sounds pretty much like this.
Well, except the closer which, curiously enough, has samples of breaking glass.

Since ArcWolf made me think of prog, I go to Peter Gabriel and Genesis. This song has to do with wolves, so White Mountain https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3yckgRec_o

Also Strawbs:

That used to be my ringtone XD
Now it's Looking For Clues by Robert Palmer (This isn't prog btw)

When I think King Crimson I think of this 21st Century Schizoid Man
But anyway, what I'm listening to now isn't even prog at all We're on a road to nowhere.... Come on inside!
I think my favo(u)rite music is probably New-Wave-Post-Punk-Art-Rock... Although Prog is really great too. If you know the good stuff.

I kind of like King Crimson, but prog is not really a genre I listen to often. I found King Crimson (prog in general really) when I played "21st Century Schizoid Man" in Guitar Hero 5.

I also looked up that "New-Wave-Post-Punk-Art-Rock". It was kind of strange, but I can see why people would like it.

Time for the nightly dose of heavy metal :D

That sounds pretty nice, but at certain moments, the vocals are... just not for me. It is kind of like Bring Me The Horizon or Cradle Of Filth live: It sounds good, but it could definitely sound better.

Oh, but I'm not just here to comment, nope I've got something to share too!
It's already past Christmas but I'll be damned if I don't enjoy this.
