It was this I believe! Fun song. Enjoyable.

Edit: Now that I listen and look at the lyrics...it's no wonder I enjoy the song. Words I live my life by. :3

That and Enter Sandman are my favorite songs by Metallica outside of the Ride The Lightning album.

Master of Puppets is the only album of theirs I have in its entirety. I have to say Death Magnetic is actually pretty good for a recent album.

Fun fact: I tried to get Copper to change his title to "Master of Puppies." It didn't take. *giggles*

I forgot about The Day That Never Comes, that was also a good song.

Ride the Lightning was my first album that I owned, ever.

Apparently none of you heard Fade to Black. IMO it's a much, much better ballad than Nothing Else Matters.

I have been a fan of the Gorillaz since my brother got Demon Days a loooooong time ago. I love what Feel Good Inc. is about also, its about the music industry, in the video 2-D is in the tower and that is the Music industry, it seals you away into basically a big party, but you are miserable. And the windmill is the dream that will never be realized.

I thought The Fall wasn't bad but the thing is they were writing and recording songs on the same day, a couple are good, but most aren't that great.

I forgot this as well. This is my favorite ballad of all.

Also, one of my favorites that's not by Metallica or a ballad, Purgatory by Iron Maiden.

The Trooper is an amazing Iron Maiden song. They didn't play it when I saw them, though. I was disappointed.

I would never say anything bad about The Trooper.

Some other good songs by them are Run to the Hills, Prowler and Aces High.

I am, but I'll admit I saw them to see Dream Theater open. That doesn't mean I didn't think their show was amazing, of course.

gotta admit not a huge maiden or metallica fan, just not that into thrash metal anymore.
Which isn't to say it isn't good and I don't occasionally jam to it.

Understandable. There was a time when I listened to nothing but thrash, power and heavy metal, still love it!
Now I'm open to a few different types of rock and I don't mind some other stuff.

I still listen to alot of metal, but i've been listening to alot more altrock (Quin knows where it's at) and ALOT more punk.
getting into some 80's and 90's rap too.
feels good to expand my horizons past my angsty angry at the world phase.

That right there sounds a lot like my current music preference. I'm definitely into more 70's-90's rock, though.

This seems like the right spot for this.

Has anyone listened to "Life is a Highway" while driving, riding in a vehicle or on a roadtrip?

Yah I'm not feeling the thrash thing as much as I used to, I still like Lich King the only somewhat not well known band I really like, Megadeth, Metallica, and Slayer. I'm moving more into doom metal.
