I am completely in love with the game, heh. Reminds me of Trading card games, in how it requires look and skill...

So yeah, do you know of any good Warhammer games? Not counting that Space Marine 3rd person shooter, something more like the table top game.

That doesn't surprise me- a lot of modern PC games are compatible with the X360 controller- provided you have the dongle for a wireless controller or a wired controller. Kerbal Space Program is one of those games. I cannot tell you how much easier the X360 controller made flying a spaceplane for me.

Nah, i'm back into playing WoW now. My family is just too routine with the game now, so I became routine with it as well. But it's certainly enjoyable from time to time. =P

Hmmm... November 15th is when the PS4 is released over here in Canada according to IGN.

http://ca.ign.com/articles/2013/08/20/p ... e-revealed

I won't be getting it for myself, but my brother. Problem is, he knows the release date as well. This means it will be hard to hide it from him until Christmas =P

I recently began playing Team Fortress 2. Yes, I know I'm rather late to the party. If anyone wants to play or whatever, I'm neodissension on Steam.

Also, my friend gameace777 is one heck of a sniper, so if you're looking for one of those, you should chat her up.

Very awesome day today so far, guys. You should check out www.GameFaqs.com for the character battles, only because it's fun to watch this time around.

I use to post there, but one of the funny things I witness on occassion is the character battles and how recently some characters like a L-Block wins a character battle :|

Right now it's a battle between Draven(League of Legends), Snake and Samus Aran. Draven was winning by a landslide, so some dedicated fans I was told (and found out) tweeted to David Hayter, the guy that use to voice Solid Snake.

His twitter is now talking about the character battles.
Also, Hideo Kojima and Jennifer Hale are in on it on their twitters now about the character battles and are talking about it. :o (Amusingly, Jennifer Hale voiced Samus, and she's sad that she has to vote against her, but she doesn't want Draven to win. </3)

Point is ~ this has been a very amusing day. I'm hyped to see what this day will bring in the end. <3

You can turn the 3D off with a 3DS, if that's a concern.

Annnnd Snake loses. Oh,well. It was looking awesome at first, but the power of mass account voting and whatnot triumphs in the end at GameFaqs. *tear*

Still, it was very awesome to see the crew of Metal Gear getting all hyped over a contest. X3

Nope. Been too busy with my brother bugging me of outlast thanks to pewdiepie's videos online. Thanks, pewdiepie!

Paranormal does look neat, though. Might check some videos out for it later.

Some laptops support discrete graphics, some don't. It really depends on the model... laptops made for gaming or video editing are more likely to have an actual graphics card that you might be able to replace.

Huh interesting, I was under the impression that you couldn't mess with the graphics card on a laptop for the fact that it being integrated and there not being enough room for a better one. If your laptop does have a pci express port built into it, I'm sure you could figure out something.

And I'm a complete noob. If I'm wrong, school the heck out of me.

Yes, unless you have a laptop with what is referred to an "integrated graphics chip." Then you're outta luck.

Also, if you're looking for less-intensive Steam games, Braid is a masterpiece.

TF2 is quite a hoot. They did one of the best jobs I've seen yet in making death almost just as amusing as killing. :)

The regular versus is fun, but try the MvM (man vs machine) for co-op fun against waves of bots. The modifications you can make to the base weapons in the game are crazy fun!

In other news, I've yet to see a laptop with a swappable video card, but they may well be out there. *shrug* Try loading it up regardless and setting the gfx low and see what happens, might be surprised.

Also in other news. Wife and I are giving Final Fantasy XIV a try. It is the reincarnation of it's first launch, which did not go well, at all. This revision is actually pretty swift if a bit WoW like.

Oh I've see some stuff around on youtube. It can be done, but you might as well either build yourself a pc or buy a lower end pc like I did and upgrade from there. I do have a laptop, but after much much research, I found getting a Desktop is so much easier. Which is why I have one now =)

I did find a alternative for making a laptop run a better graphics card, but it's more like an adapter. It also cost something like $100 bucks or more and that was just so you could use a better graphics card, it didn't come with one. I could find it again if you really wanted to see it, but I would not at all recommend it at all.
